My husband and I take 4 mobile phones: 2 for international calls, 2 with our SIM cards, plus 2 tablets, a photo and video camera. There were never any questions. The concept of an expensive camera is very conditional: maybe for 200 USD for someone expensive, and for some for 2000 average. The website of the Ministry of Revenue published a list of electronics, which, according to Ukrainian laws, are considered personal belongings of a traveling citizen of Ukraine. That is, a list of things that Ukrainians can transport across the border without drawing up documents and without paying customs duties.

The following equipment is not subject to fees and is not issued at the border:
- one camera, with a reasonable amount of film and additional devices;
- one film or video camera with a reasonable amount of film and additional devices;
- no more than two mobile phones;
- no more than two laptops, with peripherals and additional equipment (for example, charging);
- no more than three flash cards;
- no more than two calculators;
- no more than two e-books;
- one portable radio receiver;
- one portable projector and accessories to it.
The legislation also allows one portable TV and even one typewriter to be transported across the border without paying taxes.
