4-5 days in August. Where to go to the sea?
Give fresh ideas, pliz!
Holidays in Ukraine are from August 24-26 (we can take 2 days there/here). Well, two almost young)) people want to leave their children to their grandmothers and be alone away from work and the bustle of the city. Where to go?
So it would not be far (there is no point for such a period), without crazy heat, without excursions (well, you don’t offer a Weekend in Paris))), you want the sea and peace.
Already been in Egypt (2 times), in the UAE, Poland, Holland, Italy, Croatia (3 times).

1. Try Greece. Felting in Crete or Halkidiki. Of course, it is still hot, but there are many hotels with lots of greenery on the beaches. Seal rest is the most it. Well, the tours are not so expensive. Minus visa.
2.Valencia on Vizeira. If you are not embarrassed by the prices (and there are no cheap flights), then you can covet Spain.
3. Again, on Visas, you can simply fly to Italy - Milan, Venice, but, of course, you will have to drive a little more from these cities to the sea. But there are no tickets at good prices either :-(
Personally, I am definitely against Bulgaria / Romania and Montenegro. Close and inexpensive, but not worth the end of August, IMHO. In the first two, the same visa, but excuse me, where is Romania with the Black Sea and where is Greece or Spain?
Montenegro is real, but noisy and crowded. The largest number of people is just the end of August. And there are few beaches in ChG.

Thank you. We just returned from Italy, we were in Venice and on the beaches of Lido di Jesolo for several days. A question about a visa, we have a multi-Schengen visa, for Cyprus, for example, do we need some additional one?
аватар sent2008
You can travel to Cyprus with a multi-visa. A pro-visa is issued if there is no open Schengen and gives the right to a single entry to Cyprus for a period of 90 days, in your situation it is not needed, but August is the hottest period in Cyprus, in the shade up to +50.
Portugal as an option...

Georgia - Batumi. Of course our sea is black, but it is mega beautiful there. and just 5 days.
Montenegro is good, but there will be a lot of people. and the Adriatic Sea is far from the warmest
can be in Istanbul. on the islands of the marble sea is very good

Does Portugal seem to have stone beaches? Or I'm wrong?
Batumi, as a backup option, but municipal beaches do not attract and somehow I did not find a suitable hotel.
Montenegro - definitely not, just returned from a 5-week vacation with children, in Croatia for a long 3rd time, the Adriatic is full, well, at least until next summer))
I have not even heard about the Sea of Marmara, I am very surprised, I will definitely look. Thank you.
Cyprus, despite the likelihood of heat (I just logically understand that in August, it’s not far, it’s hot everywhere), so far the closest of the options. What about Tunisia? Or is it like Egypt? There, they say, good spa hotels. Or are there only charters once a week?

A week in "Druzhba" (Kurpaty) or "Sail" ... you can also go to Gagra to "Nart" or to Pitsunda.

valdemar2011, with Pitsunda... You even made me google))))) Abkhazia is very beautiful, but in terms of the road, it's probably too difficult for such a short vacation.

Sandy beaches in mainland Portugal.
IMHO, to fly for 4 days, two of them, consider spending on a flight ... You need something closer.
Didn't see Turkey on your list. The flight is short, the sea is excellent. The resorts of the west coast, and even better, the border of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas are a great option for two.

aa555aa, by train, of course, 1.5 days for a long time. The plane is much faster to Adler 2.5 hours. Arrange with the hotel about the "group" border crossing Adler - Leselidze / Gechripsh and transfer. Two incomplete days on the road (back and forth), but it's everywhere, no matter where you go ... Gagra, the Zhoekvara gorge, Bzyp, the Dzherva gorge are beautiful!!!

In Tunisia in August - the season of jellyfish))
They say they bite very painfully, and the scars remain for a long time. I personally prefer Tunisia in March.
Without heat - the Netherlands, Belgium, Northern France.
Look at the map along the coast - the farther from the Netherlands towards France - the warmer.
In NL now air is +22+25, water is +18. In August it will be the same, only the water is a little warmer, around 20 degrees. .
---
Or if you want to be completely calm - Eastern Crimea, the Sea of u200bu200bAzov, the village of Zolotoe (this is near Novootradnoye, which is approximately not far from Kerch). But it's hot there.
---
Gagra and others like them - really beautiful; I just think it's far from deserted, and it's also hot.
---
It's great in Norway, if you take a tent and canned food with you - the nature is awesome, you can find deserted places.
There is no sea, but this is not the main minus, the main one is that there are absolutely crazy prices.
---
Southern France (Nice and the towns along the coast near it are hot, the heat is easily tolerated,

you can find a budget hotel or campsite on the spot.
The climate and the sea are very even, regarding the presence of vacationers - very lively, but there is no pandemonium effect. boulevard in Nice in the evening in the summer - it's quite interesting to walk there, it won't be boring.
аватар Stella73
It also depends on what city you are from, if from Kyiv, then look where Wizzair flies from you, I proceed from the fact that tickets should be budgetary due to the brevity of the trip, and based on ticket prices (the norm is up to 100 euros for a maximum retour), try decide.
Or, buy a 5-day tour to Bulgaria, to some quiet place on the coast.

my friend was stung by a jellyfish in mid-July. were under suss. we didn’t even notice it, but then the leg baked for a long time and the allergy began.
Stella - it's cool in Tunisia in March. in July I was freezing in jeans and a windbreaker
аватар Pachok
We were just dying in Tunisia in July :(
аватар Stella73
Sandra - in March in Tunisia, the sea is +15, the air during the day is +20 + 25, and in the evening and at night, yes, it's cold, I took a ski jacket for the evening)).
In the sea, if you get used to it, it swims very well.
It's good to go on excursions, because it's not hot.
Well, there are usually few people in the hotel.
аватар aa555aa
Everything is clear with Tunisia.
Turkey was not considered, for me it is associated exclusively as a "children's vacation" and I put it off "for later", since our little ones just turned 4 and 2 years old, respectively. I think that even if you find a hotel without children, you definitely can’t avoid a fun company on an airplane, especially in the last days of August. I'm somehow not ready))) IMHO I judge solely on the basis of the behavior of my own daredevil.
