why be surprised ... in Aeroflot for so long
besides, UIA has only 20kg allowed. so just one suitcase and it turns out

And what is the problem, shock because of what?

69 kg for three for a week's rest (let's say 14 days!) - you can imagine how much junk it is!

my suitcases for a week-long vacation in Turkey-Egypt always weighed 9-10 kg. back a little more.
I always managed with a small suitcase, such as you can take it in hand luggage

Sandra, yes, and I'm talking about the same thing :) What a shock???

The problem is that we bought a new suitcase - 1 (large) for 3. and it already takes weight, it’s heavy ((((And we can’t fit 60 kg in one suitcase, as before. That’s the whole trouble, just !!!! now we’ll rent this one and take 3 separately small ones. We always it turns out 54 kg - for 3

my experience of traveling with large suitcases shows that airport workers are especially bitter about such cases. it’s easier for them to load-unload-to-throw 3 by 20 than one but 50-60
they are people too.
they broke the handle in my large suitcase and broke the back of the exit handle
there were no problems with small and medium suitcases

our previous big one was killed in 3 flights (((instead of a pen, they were already transported back with a handkerchief)))

That's why medium sizes are better. just 15-20 kg.
I have been traveling with my boyfriend for 3 years now. 10 flights a year for sure. all OK.
I don't have any problems with the little ones either.

I flew to Croatia. We went for 1.5 months with my husband, two kids and a nanny, we had to take a lot of things (including younger porridge, cans, a blender, an iron, a first-aid kit for children, a lot of space and weight). I was also "pleasantly" surprised by the new rules, I planned to at least take my husband and me a gig bag, but it clearly did not fit either in size or (if it was fully loaded) in weight. Bought two more medium suitcases. Total 4 suitcases of 23 kg each (+/- 1.5 kg), one small 10 kg (for an infant), hand luggage - stuffed to the maximum and a stroller. In Boryspil, no one carped, on our flight I saw people with giga suitcases. They flew back, one suitcase weighed 32 kg (I bought a few goodies))) and was ready to pay for the excess, but .... no one said anything. Croatians are good people

Well, that means we still have a big suitcase for two.
