Holidays in Lisbon
Lisbon is a city on seven hills, but much more prominent than, say, Kyiv. The famous Lisbon parallelepiped-shaped trams are not like that for beauty, but because otherwise the city hills cannot be overcome. You also need to stock up on comfortable shoes for walking around the city!
Lisbon is frivolous and careless, you immediately feel good against the backdrop of graffiti-painted walls and unrepaired houses with "for sale" inscriptions. Grab a cup of coffee or a portonica (white port with tonic) and take a leisurely walk around the city. While walking, do not miss the Praç a da Figueira, Praç a do Comé rcio, Praç a Rossio and Praç a dos Restauradores squares, admire the beautiful tiles - azulejos - on houses with balconies and flowers, or, passing by small cafes, be sure to stop by to listen to the nostalgic melodies of Portuguese romances - fado.
If you don't feel like walking, you can ride tram number 28 through the old town.
If fate takes you to Lisbon for a couple of days, let it take you by surprise.
