Winter holidays in Zakopane

Skiers we are not super pros, average, experience 3-4 years. We ride on blue and black slopes. I would like to live in such a way that it is not far from the slopes, and in the evening there is where to go, take a walk, see, eat. Why Zakopane and Poland? The Tatras in Slovakia (on the other side of the mountain range, 70 km from Zakopane) are better. I can advise a wonderful and inexpensive cottage in Bobrovets (Liptovsky Mikulas) http://bobrovec.sk/. I have been visiting these people every year since 2005 (and sometimes several times a year). They conquered me and my children with their cordiality and hospitality. A big plus is that they speak Russian. All my friends, whom I advised and who went to these people, really liked it. No one was offended yet.

Zakopane is a great resort, you won't regret it. Unfortunately, I won’t tell you about housing - we, on the contrary, came there from Krakow :)
I think that Slovakia is also a good option, but I was somehow unlucky with it :( A friend chose a place and a hotel, so we ended up in Places - a hole in a hole.
