My friend and I arrived a little earlier at the airport. In Doha near the registration there were, for some reason, a lot of some people. Nearby, we noticed a girl who was also with a backpack. We decided that she was also traveling and approached her with the question: “Is she going to Kailash? ”. Coincidentally, that's exactly where she was heading. While our charter was flying, we got to know each other better. It turned out that she had been coming here for years. The whole long flight time flew by like a few minutes. We listened to her interesting stories about what awaits us here. This is a great and educational start to our journey.

We arrived in Kathmandu very early in the morning. And here's the annoyance - the rain poured like a bucket. This time of year (July) is the rainy season. The locals told us that it could rain for more than two days. After we arrived at the hotel, we decided to rest a little and gain strength for interesting discoveries. When we woke up it was still raining and we decided to take a walk in the rain around the city. Where for about half an hour our head was spinning from various smells unfamiliar to us. It is so unusual to see many pedestrians on the streets, small rickshaws, bicycles. There are very few car accidents here. Slowly we got used to this rhythm. Well, the rain began to subside a little, and we decided to return to the hotel and have a little refreshment with a delicious local drink called Lassie. After that, we wanted to quickly go to the old square of Kathmandu. When we were about to leave it, some movement began. A lot of military men arrived - a Maoist rally began. Of course, we did not get involved in this, but decided to go to the Swayambhunath stupa. Before ascending, we were blessed by a Buddhist monk.

The symbol of your aspirations is the Swayambhunath Stupa. From here you have a great view of Kathmandu and the Himalayas. We also saw an amazing statue of Maitreya here. Peace and mercy reign next to this statue. Not far from the statue there is a Harati cave. Interesting cave with seven doors. There was a service in several Buddhist temples near the statue. Of course we went there. Drum sounds, singing immediately change a person and lift him to other vibrations. We touched the energies of Buddhist statues. We have a lot of impressions. Then, after such an explosion of emotions and thoughts, we just sat, looked at the mountains and how the sun sets behind them. Peace reigned in my soul. We just sat and admired the beauty of nature around us.

The time here does not correspond to the time zone and therefore it gets dark very early. The next day we woke up early. Yesterday we agreed that we would go to Swayambhunath stupa. We took our cameras, jackets - it was not raining heavily. When we had almost completed the ascent, we heard singing. It turned out that there was a Hindu service. A cave in which seven doors were opened. Another door with eyes was also open directly opposite the entrance. Old Buddhist frescoes flaunted on the wall, statues stood near the door. We couldn't help but photograph such beauty. As soon as we entered there, we felt a strong energy. And they concluded that they could go no further. Everyone has already felt here. After everything we saw, the next day we decided to go for a massage and relax a bit. We drank delicious tea and so on. After relaxing, we drove to the Hindu Shiva Temple. I want to tell you that Hinduism is not separate from life, statues with bells are everywhere on the streets. People, passing by, can come up and pray, hold on to the bell. This temple is located on the banks of the sacred river Bagmati. This is where the dead are burned. We were not allowed into the central temple, and just walked around it. Very, huge area.

Then we decided to go to another Boudhanath stupa. Stupa Bondhanath is the mood created by you. The weather was just kind to us. Blue sky, white clouds. But our enjoyment came to an end after 20 minutes. Out of nowhere, a blue cloud flew in, and it began to rain.

We flew to Tibet in the morning. Through the white clouds we saw the peaks in the snow. When the plane began to descend, we saw the Tibetan Plateau. We have some kind of lightness. We visited all the sights of Tibet. Samye Monastery. We learned a lot of interesting things about him from the Tibetan guide. This monastery is the oldest in Tibet. It is built in the form of a mandala.

On this day we visited the Potala. The Potala has 1000 rooms. But now only 100 are available. It's all built on an extinct volcano. Very beautiful view. There are a lot of tourists wandering around here. As we moved from room to room, we were enveloped in the energy of the statues. We told each other our feelings. We had many more interesting things. Then we were waiting for the road to the airport and the plane. We moored on the pier and enjoyed the sunny air. It smelled of fish and did not want to leave here.
