Rested in Secrets Riviera Cancun from 19.06-3.07. 2012.
I chose this hotel because I am familiar with the hotels of the Secrets chain. I did not find any reviews in Russian... and now I want to share my impressions with everyone.
1. Infrastructure: the territory of the hotel is small but green and well-groomed, there is an open-air Jacuzzi, hammocks.
2. Rooms: large and clean. There is an ironing board and iron, as well as an umbrella (you can walk under it along the coast if you are unlucky with the weather - I had two days from my vacation), a safe and mini bar, room service (24 hours a day you can order food by phone in the room) - free of charge. There is no Russian channel, there is a DVD. Every evening they put a program for the next day under the door, it contains a weather forecast, evening shows, promotions from the hotel, congratulations to birthdays and newlyweds. There is a jacuzzi in the bathroom shampoo, shower and body gel.
3. Food: varied food: meat, fish and seafood, fresh juices and ice cream for breakfast and lunch, there were sushi several times, greens and fruits are enough, delicious cakes and mousses. Dinner only in a la carte restaurants: Mexican, Italian, French , steak house and sushi - without an appointment, just come and say how many people and room number. Then you order dinner from the menu, everything is romantic by candlelight in some restaurants there is live music.
4. Entertainment: yoga on the pier in the morning, then different games (I don’t know the correct names), volleyball. Near the tode pool there is water aerobics. water basketball, etc. Live music every evening in the lobby. 00.
5. The beach: clean, there are enough sunbeds, drinks and sometimes fruits are carried throughout the day, sometimes ice cream. An old-timer pelican constantly sits on the pier, lets him in a meter and even sometimes poses.
6. SEA!! ! This is the main drawback in this hotel (and hotels located in this region). Without slippers for diving, it is inconvenient to enter the water, either sand or stones. The buoys of water are less than waist-deep, and behind the buoys, reef-water is bone-deep. For those who likes to swim long and far, choose a hotel in another region and read the reviews!
