Many a la carte restaurants, but not all were open in October. All restaurants can be visited freely, only Japanese must be booked in advance (they cook seafood right in front of you).
There is a theater where performances are held, there are evening events in the central courtyard (only in English and Spanish), 2 times a week there were foam parties in the pool near the adult building.
Free wi-fi throughout the hotel, including the beach, the speed is good.
There is a cenote on the territory, 2 turtles swim there, monkeys, lizards live nearby, and a lot of coatis, such mi-mi-bears, but very arrogant. Coatis are like cats
Beach: the territory is small, there are enough sunbeds for everyone, there is a pool right on the beach.
In October there were waves for seven days, and then the sea calmed down.
There is a lot of algae, especially on the shore (they say that there is no algae in January and February), but they are constantly removed. We walked along the beach to the left and right, this hotel has the cleanest beach. There are a lot of algae in the water, sometimes you swim like in a soup. Pleasant little. But the water is clear. The bottom is sand - no stones, etc.
Each building has its own pool, all vacationers can use any pool. In the bars by the pools and on the beach, alcohol flows like a river.
2. Rooms: we were in the family part (Daisy building), a room with a view of the pool and children's water park, noisy during the day, but if you close the window, you can't hear anything. We asked for a room with two beds, but there were none, they gave us a room in one king-size bed, the bed is huge, although there is a common blanket, but we did not hurt each other. Bed linen is clean but not new. The room has white leather upholstered furniture - all the stains are striking. Mini-bar included in the price, flat TV with one Russian channel, air conditioning, scales. Very high humidity, everything dries badly, our pillows smelled of dampness. There is a table and chairs on the balcony, it is forbidden to dry clothes on the balcony (especially on the railing), but everything is dried, because it is unrealistic to dry something in the room.
In the bathroom: separate shower, toilet, 2 sinks, jacuzzi, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, hair dryer. Cleaned rather badly, tips do not help (periodically there was black hair in the bathroom, which is why they disdained to lie in the jacuzzi). Towels are clean, sometimes they smell damp.
The room has been recently refurbished and the overall environment is pleasant.
3. The main restaurant: a lot of delicious food, a lot of all sorts of cheeses, I love guacamole, I didn’t like meat, local wine, I have champagne in the morning, and the ingredients for making the Bloody Mary cocktail ate all my vacation. There are always places, everything is clean.
There is nowhere to leave the hotel, we took a taxi to Playa del Carmen ($ 18 one way), there is not much to do there - go shopping once. Excursions were taken from a tour operator, as there is no alternative. Everything is fine.
Everyone is very keen on tips, and foreigners give tips everywhere and everywhere for any sneeze.
In general, I recommend the hotel, excellent value for money. But Mexico didn’t suit me, it’s a “vegetable vacation” - eat, sleep, swim, drink, swarm. Excursions to those places that I wanted to see are too expensive (it turns out as individual ones). And group tours are good, but modest.
