Good night everybody!
Recently returned with my husband from a wonderful country with awesome nature, history and beaches. As well as culinary delights. But I'll start in order. We flew from Kyiv to Frankfurt by "Lufthanza" airline for 2 hours and 50 minutes, and by "Air Condor" airline directly from Frankfurt to Cancun. The Germans are great pilots. very confident and took off and landed. the only thing would be a little wider chairs. And so everything was fine - blankets, and pillows, and tea and coffee all the time in addition to food. There was also an afternoon snack - chocolate and tea. Flew from Frankfurt 11 hours 40 minutes Back 10 hours 15 minutes and 2 hours 15 minutes Host "Prime Travel" is beyond praise. They met us at the Cancun airport, took us to the hotel (an hour and a half drive to the Riviera Maya), and told a lot of interesting things along the way. The guides are attentive, competent, they told a lot of interesting things on the excursions, they always helped to solve all the issues, but since I speak English well, I did a great job at the hotel myself.
The hotel is beautiful! Built in the form of three-storey villas. Walking there is almost impossible. We traveled in electric cars. And they were taken to the lobby, and to the beach, and to the disco. The territory is huge, green, full of wonderful plants. Nosuhi (canti) and guti (tailless rats) ran freely everywhere. They do not look as nasty as our domestic rats. Their faces looked like guinea pigs. They loved to gnaw coconuts and brazenly climbed palm trees. Iguanas are adorable. Basking in the sun. We saw whole iguana rookeries. The vegetation is magnificent. jungle, coconut palms, bougainvilleas. . . The list is endless. Our room was amazing. We lived in a three-story villa on the ground floor overlooking the front garden. The room has all the amenities, a huge plasma TV (there are no Russian channels, though), but we practically did not turn it on. And most importantly for me - tea and water. Every day they brought two bottles of drinking water and bags of tea and coffee. The safe is paid, they gave a lock at the reception. It cost five dollars a day.

There are 6 restaurants on site. You could easily enroll in any of them. In addition to the main restaurant "Kukulkana", where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner, we also visited the fish restaurant "El Pescador" and the restaurant "Arlequin" on the territory of the neighboring hotel "Gran Bahia Akumal". Our hotel shares with him and with the hotel "Gran Bahia Tulum" territory. Even in our hotel "Coba" there was an opportunity to go to "Portofino" (Italian, during our stay it was closed all the time). Apparently, not everyone wanted to work during the off-season. As well as "Le Gourme" (French and international cuisine) "Mikado" (Japanese). But Japanese cuisine is not about us. and the main restaurant had everything your heart desires. and cakes with various fillings, and sauces, and fish (grouper, sword) and meat with vegetables and steaks. sweets, fruits, wines (by the way, Mexican wines are very good. ) I leaned on dry white. Foreign drinks had to be paid for, while local wines, beer and tequila were free. The same applies to soft drinks. For breakfast, before entering the restaurant, the administrator treated the girl to brut champagne or mimosa (champagne with orange juice). delicious. You could also order Bloody Mary, if you like. That is, no one left hungry, and the all-inclusive system in wonderful Mexico is very reasonable. There was also a Chinese, and Italian, and a vegetarian, and a Japanese corner. Everything for every taste. Calamari, shrimp, five or six kinds of pizza. There were delicious pastries for breakfast (donuts, pancakes, buns), amazing creams and cakes, non-alcoholic cocktails for breakfast, you could also drink as much as you wanted (banana necks, and strawberries, and pineapple, and apple). omelets, sausages, bacon. ham and cheese. as well as vegetables - these are the attributes of any breakfast, and scrambled eggs, omelettes or boiled eggs in different variations were cooked right in front of us to order. Ice cream and yoghurts were primarily taken apart by children. Sausages were fried near the pool every day from 12 to 13 o'clock, steaks (beef, veal, pork, chicken). drink tea at any time until 11 pm Also there were cookies and pastries and fruit all the time. In the evening the bartenders prepared very tasty coffee (I ordered once with brandy, the next day with tequila, and my husband took himself with whiskey). It's a whole art of cooking, alcohol was added there, then set on fire and after a while whipped cream was added. Nectar!
Every evening there were shows in the hall. And latin. and copied different world stars, and Avatar. Shows started at 10 pm and lasted until 11 pm. And from 8 pm to 10 pm, a music bar was open. The ensemble sang live there and you could also come to dance.
Breakwaters on the beach. They break the waves. Some beaches are open, they constantly had red flags. These are beaches without lagoons and breakwaters. Everything is also close to the hotel. Hotels "Akumal" "Coba" share the beach. only the first one is closer to the sea, and we drove an electric car from our handsome man, as I already wrote. the underwater world is gorgeous - and mackerel brazenly swam underfoot, and clown fish. and some other little blue fish (I don’t know the names).
The tours are amazing. We immediately bought four from our tour operator. We visited the Xcaret park, the beautiful Chichen Itza, as well as Tulum-Tank-Coba and Cancun. In "Shkaret" and underground rivers, and animals practically live in the wild, and various performances. Pyramid "Kukulkan" in Chichen Itza - a beauty! Above all praise. there is a souvenir market. all very good quality, you can bargain. We bought a lot of gifts and souvenirs there. And the cenote lakes have never been seen anywhere else. Karst formations with water +24 degrees. One is like a small lake, and the other is a well with a depth of 6 meters. Tulum - Mayan port city - just a handsome man on the Caribbean coast. There is a beach and the sea is really open there with a very strong wave. tanka is a Mayan village, where we had both, and Koba is an ancient city in the jungle with a 42-meter pyramid. She climbed out and was simply stunned by the panorama. Down below there is only jungle and little people. nice! so for those who are not afraid of heights. recommend. There is also a field for playing ball (a cross between football and soccer). Previously, the captain of the winning team was sacrificed. no matter how wild it may sound. But the Mexicans were very philosophical about death. Now, of course, people are not sacrificed, but they continue to think that after death comes reincarnation. in Cancun, we visited the observation deck near Mirador Beach, saw all the hotels and visited the tequila museum with tasting, and the shopping center. There you can buy souvenirs, and cocoa, and coffee. and also all kinds of sauces, chocolate and vanilla (they consider it the best). Tequila lovers, take note. "Sauza" and "Olmeca" that we have in Mexico are considered the most base. And the second way, in general, Mexicans wash the windows in the car. We tasted Anejo, Extra Anejo, Reposado, Herradura and El Himador. The last one was brought home. Went to hell. We prefer the classic silver tequila, although their golden tequila is very nice. Other good varieties are Jose Cuervo, Don Julio and Agavita.

The review is very detailed, but there are a lot of impressions and they overwhelm. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer. I'll post a photo later.
