Wonderful professionals from the travel agency (5th avenue) planted in our heads the idea to visit the Maldives in the summer, when we were discussing the idea of where to go on vacation in the winter. Then I was still skeptical about this place, it seemed to me that in the same Cuba where we were 4 times, it was never worse, but it costs 3 times cheaper, given that food in Cuba is "all inclusive" and rum flows like water, and in the Maldives this case is much more modest and everything is 10 times more expensive. Then I radically changed my mind, but first things first.
Still, we decided to fly to the Maldives, the trip is certainly not cheap, but money appeared and we decided to find just such a use for them, instead of the already bored Caribbean, all the more we wanted new experiences and complete relaxation, and as promised to us in the company, we will get it there in full.
As a result, ok, we booked a tour a month before departure, everything was very fast, efficient, the documents were issued two days after payment, and we even regretted that we had not made the flight earlier, and by the way, thank God !! ! There was some kind of unpleasant cyclone in the Maldives, it rained every day, until our arrival, it’s generally a joke, we flew in and immediately the sun, and all the days it was hot before departure ! ! Again, thanks to the company, this is of course a coincidence, no one is a seer, but they insisted that we fly no earlier than December, that according to the weather, it is at the beginning of December that the most favorable season comes, in general, they did not fail, because when you pay so much money, each detail, and good weather is generally the main thing!
We flew a / c Aeroflot, a direct flight from Moscow to Male, upon arrival we were quickly taken by the arms and transported to the seaplane, it was on it that we flew to the hotel in 40 minutes. By the way, the most beautiful views begin with airplanes from the windows.
We were met very warmly at the hotel, like old friends, everyone was so smiling and nice, they gave us sorbet, it was so nice to cool off after a long journey from St. Petersburg, well, they settled in a room! We really liked it, that's right VERY! Firstly, the room is huge, 90 km m, we even had our own big pool!! ! Shower both in the room and on the street, no insects, which is very important for me, were not noticed, although we read in the reviews that often someone crawls.
Cleaning every day and the most interesting thing about the cleaners themselves has never been noticed, they are like ants, they run in, bring beauty and cleanliness and crawl back : ))))))
The bathroom had all toiletries, shampoos, shower gel, hair balm, brush, toothpaste, soap, and even body lotion.
As for the beach. The exit from our room was not on its most successful side, there were a lot of corals and it was good to snorkel, but if you walk literally 1 minute to the left....I don’t even have words to describe all the beauty that the island opens before you . This incredible beach..... where flour sand and endless azure ocean shimmering with dozens of shades of colors....and even when there is not a soul around ! ! We didn’t understand where all the vacationers were?? ? They are present at breakfast, dinner, and we are alone on the beach)))))) Mysticism!! ! But for us it was the most pleasant mysticism that we have ever encountered))))))
Nutrition. Super!! ! Breakfast on the buffet blue cheese, camembert, vegetables, very sweet, ripe fruits (although sometimes watermelon and oak peaches are not tasty), freshly squeezed juices, fruits and vegetables are laid out - you come up and say what to make juice from, scrambled eggs, omelettes, all this in front of you, they cook with any toppings, cereals, yogurts, cereals, sweet buns, toasts, coffee, tea.
For dinner, everything is on the menu, as well as freshly squeezed juices, which are brought in long cocktail glasses, appetizers, soups, salads, hot meats, fish, pasta, and dessert. They don’t always get meat, for example, they brought me some fatty piece of ribeye, horror, but this is the only time I was dissatisfied, everything else is delicious, but it’s better to order fish, this is their strong point!
In the evening we sat in a bar, they have live music and an excellent hookah, which, strangely, is even cheaper than in Russia, at $ 20-25
Service. Well-trained staff, everyone knows English very well, sometimes it seemed to me that the staff speaks a foreign language better than me, despite my high level) Everyone is very friendly, always ready to help and serve!
The Maldives is complete relaxation, enjoyment, solitude with nature, this is another planet....8 days flew by unnoticed, although I was very afraid that they would drag on for eternity, because there was nothing to do there, but I was wrong, and if I had the opportunity, I spent be there for another week or so.
And you know, no matter how much I try to describe my emotions here . . you need to fly to the Maldives, not a single photo or video material can convey that very atmosphere . . you need to feel it with your whole body and soul! I sincerely wish everyone to visit this magical place! And now we are dreaming not about the next flight to the Caribbean, but as you might guess, to find ourselves in the Maldives again! ))
