Then there were threats from the guide and demands for additional payment for the room. Several people book one room, then spread them to other hotels for 1 or 2 days. In short, the day was wasted. Overpowered in a tiny standard on the 1st floor. The room has everything, but it is sooooo tiny and one day there was no water and the sewerage stank terribly. Towels and bed linen were never changed. Zero service! On the day of departure, the lady had to be driven to the bus on the mountain. And here is the control: we walked up the mountain, dragging our suitcases with us. It is better to choose another hotel and another tour company!

The room is large, with two balconies, central - sea view. The room has two rooms separated by a door. There is a kitchenette, a table, a stove, a refrigerator, we cooked breakfasts and lunches ourselves. By the way, there are several grocery stores, one right next to the villa, but they have their own characteristics - each of them has a specific set of products - for example, tea is in one, fresh meat is in another, and vegetables and fruits are sold in the third. Therefore, in order to fully skimp, you need to bypass 2-3 stores, but this is not particularly annoying, because. there is nothing to do anyway : ) The room is clean, they clean it in about a day, they take out the garbage - everyone. The room has "antique" furniture, which creates a special charm.
What I didn’t like: The apartment is on the 3rd floor, where a narrow (for one person) tiled staircase leads, which is very inconvenient to climb with children and a stroller. The floor in the room is also tile, besides, two steps lead to the balcony, from which our little "slider" tried several times to fly down with its nose. At night, cicadas crackle and noise is heard from the street - we slept with open windows, we did not use air conditioning. On the ground floor of the villa there is a restaurant that fries something around the clock. The smell from cooking moves smoothly into the apartment. This happens every day, so by the end of the holiday we have already begun to quietly hate fried fish.
Another piece of advice for those who fly with children and rely on a separate bed - when buying a tour, carefully study this issue, because. we were sure that our children would sleep separately, and as a result, the eldest slept on the bed with an adult, and the youngest in a stroller, which was very uncomfortable. This happened because our wishes were not taken into account when ordering. True, we must pay tribute to Pilon that they kindly provided us with one bed, with an additional charge of 5 euros / day, which we decided to refuse in the end.
A few words about the beach and infrastructure and excursions. The Rafailovici beach is small-pebbled, the entrance to the sea is gentle. On one of the beaches you can lay your own bedspreads and buy an umbrella for 10 euros without paying anything extra. On the rest of the beaches, everything is filled with sunbeds and umbrellas, so finding a free place for your "bed" is quite difficult.
We took two excursions - one from a local travel agency in the Bay of Kotor, which goes all day with a visit to Kotor, the Church of the Virgin of the Rock, Herceg Novi, Zhanice Beach and the Blue Cave for an additional fee of 7 euros. And the second - at Pilon in Dubrovnik, Croatia. More about her in the next story. I liked both excursions, but Pilon conducted it simply brilliantly, with professional guides, which cannot be said about the Montenegrin comrades, who had difficulty translating into Russian what they did even worse in English.
There are many cafes and restaurants on the beach for every taste and budget. I recommend "Three ribars" with excellent seafood, but above average prices for a good evening dinner with wine or beer "Nikshechko". You can have lunch by taking a set lunch for 5 euros - chorba soup, salad, meat and potatoes and beer or cola to choose from in any cafe. The quality of "fast food", but quickly. A little further along the embankment there is a pancake shop where Montenegrin palachinki are prepared with various fillings. In general, the flight did not cause negative.
-The host party "Pylon", we bought a tour from the tour operator "Siesta" Kyiv. A representative with a sign met, noted in the list, showed the bus. The bus is large, comfortable, air-conditioned, cool and not tiring to ride.
First, tourists were dropped off in Budva, then we went to Becici, Rafailovichi was the final stop. They dropped us off the bus near the information point (they drop us off and take us back to the airport, and also take us on excursions from Rafailovici) We were immediately handed over to a young man who loaded our suitcases and us into the car, took us to the villa, helped with the suitcases to reach the room, showed it and took the voucher. -We had a two-room suite for 4 people - 2 parents and 2 children 9 years old and 3.5 years old, on the third floor No. 11. A small and clean room with a mini kitchen, there are 3 pots, a set of knives, spoons and forks, teaspoons, cups, glasses, saucers, deep and small plates, a kitchen towel, a refrigerator, in general, everything you need and need is there))) Large balcony overlooking the sea, a table and chairs, a huge umbrella from the sun, a tablecloth on the table, there is a drying rack for things, but grab clothespins, the wind and things fly away)) The double bed is made up, for the sofa in the second room there are pillows, sheets and a bedspread in the closet . Cleaned daily, wiped the floor, took out the trash, restocked toilet paper, changed towels for us every 3 days, and changed beds every 4 days. All this was done by a smiling, quiet woman, who immediately found out from us what time we were going to the beach and tried to clean up in the morning while we were gone. I gave 5 for the service.
-For accommodation 5-, the villa stands right on the Embankment, which is very convenient for everyone - families with children and singles and couples, went out, turned and immediately sandy beach, promenade, cafes and restaurants, mini-markets, in general, everything you need is at hand , and a small minus is for those who love silence, it’s always noisy on the Embankment, music, crowds of vacationers, we are familiar, in Kyiv our house is in a noisy place, but those who love silence will have to close windows and balcony doors at night ...But in the morning such a beautiful sound of the surf, it's very nice to wake up))) Oh yes, in the villa itself there is a narrow staircase upstairs and high steps, I climbed slowly with the children so that no one stumbled.
-Nutrition. We ate in the room only in the mornings, the children cooked oatmeal in milk, we drank coffee ourselves and smeared sandwiches with pate and cucumber. Lunch and dinner in cafes.
We didn’t like the cafe of our villa itself (the food was in Plaza chetverochka))), we ate there 2 times, the rest of the time we spent in different places. Very tasty complex lunches and dinners in the nearby restaurant "Obala", the portions are huge, we took 2 complex lunches for 4 and ate everything. Prices in the cafes of Rafailovici for the complex range from 6 to 9 euros per person, it includes soup, salad, meat or fish with a side dish for the main course and dessert. Drinks are not included and must be ordered separately.
-Beaches. Sandy beach near the villa-sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee, there are free pieces where you can lay a towel and put your umbrella and enjoy the sea.
We were on this beach 3 times at most, because right in the middle of Rafailovichi there is a children's camp and the children from it occupy all the free places in the morning, they make noise, run, push, they don't pay attention to anyone, they knocked my baby down a couple of times , broke sandcastles, and we quickly retreated: )))) We went to the pebble beach, it is further on the left side, if you look at the sea, the entrance is a bit rocky into the water, but this beach is calmer, we all have safety shoes, so nothing bothered us. You can go a little further along the tunnel, which is located near the pebble beach and get to the large and beautiful Kamenovo beach, there is also a free piece of the beach, as well as an area with sunbeds and umbrellas. A small disappointment is that the water was cold all the time ...We were in 2011 in early August, the water was warm, I didn’t want to climb out, but then ...
I accidentally overheard a conversation of local Russian-speaking people who have their own housing in Rafailovichi, they also complained that for the first time in all the years that they spend summer there, the water is cold, and that it seems like because of something the current has changed there this year and that's why the water cold. But we swam a little anyway. In the morning, of course, I didn’t go into the water, at lunchtime it warmed up a little in the heat, then it was possible to swim, our youngest normally bought only 4 days in the sea, the rest of the family and I splashed every day, regardless of the temperature of the water))) Well and, of course, the habit of our Ukrainians, Russians and local vacationers was a little annoyed by the habit of our Ukrainians, Russians and local vacationers to put out cigarette butts directly into pebbles and leave them there, or they put ice cream wrappers into pebbles and, like, everything is hidden, although there are quite a lot of garbage cans on the beach, well, is it really so difficult to climb and throw it all away?
Probably everyone looked at me strangely when in the morning I picked up all the cigarette butts I noticed on the beach with a napkin and threw them into the tank : )))) Here it remains either to come to terms with our Slavic nature or to make comments probably ...
-Tours. We went for an evening walk along the Bay of Kotor on a boat from Pilon. I liked it very much, it was interesting and interesting. And we also went from the street agency "Harmony", which is located not far from the "Three Fishermen" to the canyons. This excursion is a whole day, it’s hard, but we saw very beautiful views, the canyons of the Moracha and Tara rivers, Durmitor Park and the Black Lake, we didn’t regret for a minute that we went on this excursion. Also, their guide Peter made fun all the way and told all sorts of interesting information about the country, you never got bored))
In conclusion of my review, I want to say that I came to this country for the second time and was fascinated for the second time, everything is so beautiful, friendly and tasty there is nowhere to go during rush hour, more people on weekends, a little less on weekdays, but still a lot of vacationers, the country is visa-free, and the flow of tourists is increasing every year. Unfortunately, I won’t go to Montenegro for 2 years with my children, that’s for sure, while they are small and in Turkey they are more interested, as it turned out later)))) But I will return here anyway, together with my husband, there are still so many places in Montenegro where we are together would like to visit. In the morning, of course, I didn’t go into the water, at lunchtime it warmed up a little in the heat, then it was possible to swim, our youngest normally bought only 4 days in the sea, the rest of the family and I splashed every day, regardless of the temperature of the water))) Well and, of course, the habit of our Ukrainians, Russians and local vacationers was a little annoyed by the habit of our Ukrainians, Russians and local vacationers to put out cigarette butts directly into pebbles and leave them there, or they put ice cream wrappers into pebbles and, like, everything is hidden, although there are quite a lot of garbage cans on the beach, well, is it really so difficult to climb and throw it all away?
Probably everyone looked at me strangely when in the morning I picked up all the cigarette butts I noticed on the beach with a napkin and threw them into the tank : )))) Here it remains either to come to terms with our Slavic nature or to make comments probably ...
-Tours. We went for an evening walk along the Bay of Kotor on a boat from Pilon. I liked it very much, it was interesting and interesting. And we also went from the street agency "Harmony", which is located not far from the "Three Fishermen" to the canyons. This excursion is a whole day, it’s hard, but we saw very beautiful views, the canyons of the Moracha and Tara rivers, Durmitor Park and the Black Lake, we didn’t regret for a minute that we went on this excursion. Also, their guide Peter made fun all the way and told all sorts of interesting information about the country, you never got bored))
In conclusion of my review, I want to say that I came to this country for the second time and was fascinated for the second time, everything is so beautiful, friendly and tasty there is nowhere to go during rush hour, more people on weekends, a little less on weekdays, but still a lot of vacationers, the country is visa-free, and the flow of tourists is increasing every year. Unfortunately, I won’t go to Montenegro for 2 years with my children, that’s for sure, while they are small and in Turkey they are more interested, as it turned out later)))) But I will return here anyway, together with my husband, there are still so many places in Montenegro where we are together would like to visit. And I recommend our villa for our tourists, I personally did not notice any negative)))

It is located right on the embankment of the village of Rafailovichi. The first floor is occupied by a restaurant, but, in addition to this convenience, such a neighborhood also has certain nuances, namely, the smell of the restaurant steadily spreads to the corridors of the villa, and the air freshener, which the owners generously sprinkled on the premises before our arrival, only exacerbated the discomfort.

The first floor is occupied by a restaurant, but, in addition to this convenience, such a neighborhood also has certain nuances, namely, the smell of the restaurant steadily spreads to the corridors of the villa, and the air freshener, which the owners generously sprinkled on the premises before our arrival, only exacerbated the discomfort. In addition, in order to get into the living rooms of the villa, you will have to overcome the path through the summer terrace of the restaurant, most likely, many, especially those with children, will not be particularly pleasant at this moment, so take this into account when choosing a place to stay. I also admit the presence of noise from the restaurant. The disadvantages include high and slippery steps, therefore, I cannot recommend this villa to the elderly.
And now about the good. As I said, the villa is located right on the waterfront, so close proximity to the beach is a definite plus. Almost all rooms have a great view of the sea. I also liked the unusual design solution - the rooms are all different, with artificially aged and painted furniture, each in its own color. It seems that the owners are not devoid of artistic taste, imagination and abilities in this area, which is confirmed by the decoration of the restaurant.
Please note that not all rooms are equipped with a kitchen, so keep this in mind when booking if you need one. Otherwise, the rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
In Rafailovici there is a good sandy beach, the cost of sunbeds, umbrellas is 2-3 Euros, but no one will forbid you to come with your bedding and an umbrella and enjoy the sun and the sea absolutely free. Along the embankment there are continuous cafes, restaurants, "snacks". I want to note that on the embankment there is one of the most famous and popular fish restaurants on the coast "Three Fishermen", which gourmets and lovers of "sea food" from all over the Budva Riviera go to.
This village is very suitable for a comfortable stay with children, but, in my opinion, not in this villa.
So, consider everything I wrote about and have a good rest!
