Yesterday we returned from Rafailovichi, but our thoughts are still there. Villa Jelena is a wonderful place, we rested with our daughter in room 7 on the 3rd floor. The yard is small, but buried in greenery and roses. The owner, Yuri, is very pleasant and friendly, he met us and, upon departure, took us to the information point.
To the sea - 5-7 minutes, the choice of beaches - small pebbles, sand, stones. The entrance to the water is gentle, there are no waves, the water is clean, it is a pleasure to swim and it is not scary to let a child into the water alone.
The representative of the R-tours company, Elena, spoke in detail about restaurants, shops, fruit and vegetable stalls, beach holidays, and suggested how you can get to Budva, Sveti Stefan on your own.
We also went on excursions with R-tours, the accompanying guides Darinka (Boko-Kotor Bay) and Vitaliy (Canyons) made us fall in love with Montenegro.
It was an unforgettable vacation.

After lunch we were already walking towards Kamenevo beach. On the way there are a couple more beaches that are very beautiful: huge stones in the sea, colored pebbles, turquoise water. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach of Kamenevo. The tunnel through the mountain is very cool. And all these pebble beaches were even more attractive, the pebbles did not interfere with walking / lying at all (a kind of massage? )
As for food, we had breakfast in the room. We had a kitchenette. We went to lunch at the Kod Saichitsa cafe (right across the road) for complex lunches (5.5 euros): there were three soups, about five options for main courses, three salad options. One portion was enough for two of us. They ate like when. Mostly in the room (cooked pasta, potatoes, dumplings, made scrambled eggs, omelettes, etc. ). There are four stores there: one is next to the Kod Saichitsa cafe (i. e. across the road), the other, if you go to the right from the villa, then 50-70 meters, to two other supermarkets go less than two minutes to the left (they directly opposite each other).
We liked Rafailovici more than Budva. I remember Budva with a huge number of people, noise, uproar, screaming music until two in the morning. In Rafailovichi, everything is somehow more comfortable, homely. Yes, there were also a lot of people, but their number somehow didn’t “choke” me. And the options where you can lie down on a towel are more diverse and beautiful (the pebbles of Rafailovichi fell in love with us at first sight. I have not seen such a variety of colors on the beach yet? )
There is one more thing: before the trip, I could not fully decide where exactly Villa Elena is located (on the maps provided on different sites, the location was different). Therefore, I am attaching a photo where this wonderful villa is circled in red, and the Code Saichitsa cafe is circled in blue. Maybe someone will need it.

I didn't cook, I just made tea and coffee. but in the kitchen there is a pot, and a frying pan, and a cutting board, and a cezve.
The village of Rafailovichi itself is small, but cozy. Lots of cafes and restaurants. A 2-3 minute walk from the villa - four grocery stores, which are called supermarkets and hypermarkets. In fact, these are tiny shops for one checkout, and a hypermarket for two (but there is always one : )))
The cost of dishes in restaurants is approximately the following: a salad - 2.50-3 euros, a slave dish - from 8 euros (for trout) to 14 euros (for sea bass or grdoba). Some restaurants offer set meals for 4.50-5 euros.

The lack of a sea view is compensated by the fresh scent of the flowers and the birds serenading in the mornings in the garden.
It is convenient to relax here with children: a quiet area, a patio, some rooms are equipped with a kitchenette on a balcony or terrace with an exotic touch of curly kiwi.
Within a radius of 50m there are two grocery stores and a supermarket. I had a daily supply of fresh vegetables and dairy products.
Green streets on the way to the beach give 100 meters of awareness of being abroad - Clean, Nice, Cozy! On the embankment, deliciously alluring with the aromas of grilled sea delicacies, you can always dine to your taste. Pizza or a complex national lunch overlooking the Adriatic Sea (a large portion of the first, meat / fish + vegetables + potatoes) will cost 5-7 euros per person. The set lunch menu changes every day. We always took for two with a friend! It was just right for us!
You can walk along the embankment directly to the old town in Budva, this pleasure takes 1 hour 30 minutes of a walking pace, to the accompaniment of the waves of the sea. There are beautiful places for photo shoots. So the walk can be pleasantly long.
If you value freedom and comfort on vacation - this is the place! Where the soul and body sing in unison with the beauty of the Budva Riviera!

But not with Villa Elena. Here the owner met us by car, took us with our suitcases. And immediately gave the key to the room, although it is written that the check-in at 13-00, and it was only 10 am. In the room (we had a standard) a kettle, dishes, a refrigerator, well, a regular room with a TV, air conditioning, a bathroom with a shower (soap, shampoos are not provided, there is toilet paper). On the table is a bottle of grape brandy - the hospitable host treats his guests upon arrival. Once put a plate of figs. Very clean bedding and generally perfect cleanliness in the villa. Rooms are cleaned every day and linen is changed every 3 days. Location - 50 m from the sea e. the second house from the beach strip. Sami Rafailovici-beach strip is narrow. Prices in Goldmarket are much higher than prices in Budva. Budva 4 km along the beach strip, walked 2 times on foot, found a butchery there, where they signed up for delicious kebabs and chops, they immediately prepared them for us. And there are a lot of cafes there, you can take a complex lunch for 4.5 euros soup + second course meat + salad or dinner 4 euros without soup, you definitely won’t be hungry. Beer was found at 1.5 euros 2 liters, dry wine from 1.52 euros to 14 euros. In general, in my opinion, the advantages of Rafailovici are proximity to the sea, and the disadvantages are still a village and of course more interesting in Budva, although the beaches there are much further from the villas.
