I read this information, I asked in fact at the border they ask for a power of attorney or not.

Good afternoon! Maybe my answer will not help you completely, since I flew with a minor child from Ukraine, and not from Russia. But we have the same requirements for traveling with a child. So, the power of attorney from the second parent is ALWAYS looked at when leaving their country and read very carefully so that all the data is accurate, the timing of the trip, etc. (I flew 7 times with such a power of attorney, they won’t let you out of the country without it), and when I ENTER another country, this document is of no interest to anyone and they never looked at it.

thank you yanda. From Russia is not required when leaving the country with one of the parents a power of attorney. She persuaded the tourists, they will make a power of attorney. Then I will share information whether they asked at the entrance to Montenegro or not.

That's right, you were persuaded. Why risk the whole trip and vacation. It's better to spend a little on a power of attorney and sleep peacefully)))

When leaving Russia, a power of attorney is not needed (Federal Law "On Entry into the Russian Federation and Departure from the Russian Federation", when entering Montenegro - also (official information from the consulate), but I would also do it just in case. It is better to pay 800 rubles to a notary and be 100 % calm in our turbulent times.

Russians do not need the permission of a second parent. Ukrainians need.
When entering a foreign country, no one is interested in permission at all. It is needed when leaving your.
Question to Lev2182, why pay 800 rubles to a notary if permission is not needed?

Everyone knows that a power of attorney is not needed when leaving. But in Montenegro, they were just considering a power of attorney almost under a magnifying glass.
