Who was in Montenegro?
They say that this country is for a calm measured rest.
I would like to know - is this really true or just a stereotype for everyone who has not been there yet?
Thank you in advance

calm measured rest, as I understand it, is to lie on the beach)
and in Montenegro there are many different places where you can go, both on your own and with excursions, there is rafting for extreme people, you can dive
although, to be honest, I’m more able to lie on the beach, because after nightly festivities I get up early so that I can’t go somewhere))

I was in Budva from June 2-9 this year. The country is amazingly beautiful! The air is pure mountain. The people are friendly and welcoming. But, July and August, I would not recommend. As elsewhere, you will not find peace at this time. The beginning of June or September-October is best. There are many excursions. There is something to see. Simply breathtaking from such beauty. THIS IS A MUST SEE! It is better to live in a villa. Have a nice holiday.

Well, why can't you just relax in July-August? in Budva, yes, I agree, but judging by the reviews there are places where it is not so crowded, only these places do not offer travel agencies, but housing is rented anywhere)

To lenusya8: where were you? if possible, in more detail about the night festivities))) (I thought they were not there))

Night festivities are full in Budva! Disco bars abound! video.mail.ru/mail/rubl.69/_myvideo/2.html Watch my video, maybe you will understand for yourself.

I am usually in Budva, and all the main clubs are located here, including one of the largest discos in the Balkans, Top Hill in the mountains (open until the morning), there are also several closed clubs, there are several discos on the embankment and in the Old Town, though they work till the hour

Villa Krivokapich. It's good that it's new. I found it here on the site. I like it. She is not in the thick of it, but at the same time everything is nearby.

Everything is not expensive there. Bombay Market! We have bought tiger prawns several times. 15 euro kg. Yummy!

Here in a month there will be supper! Go to Budva. If you want to hang out. Montenegro is generally a small country. Everything is nearby.

so I’m going to Budva for now and I’m going for a walk while I want to walk)) this will be the 4th time

and your villa, as I understand it, is somewhere on the outskirts of Becici? ours will also be in that steppe, Lutovac, I know that there is a slight rise)

Villa Krivokapich in the center of Budva.

There are enough parties in Budva. But my husband and I prefer a quiet holiday, without all these twitches to the music))) we flew this time in June at the very beginning - that's what you need. BUT, by our departure, it seemed like a TOP heal, plus a trocadero and everything else. Were once in 34 or 44 or 24 in the old city. Creepy. Very smoky and uncomfortable.

You can rest easy anywhere! However, Montenegro is not the best option for this for many reasons (many people, noisy cities, few good natural beaches, etc.), better go to Albania, where you can relax on huge beaches with natural food and low prices.

Albania? It is interesting. And you can go into more detail half a hundred.

please.

You are welcome! Read my notes on independent travel (search by nickname) and the stories of other tourists who have been to Albania. There are a lot of interesting things there (ancient cities, wild nature, rural regularity and simplicity, etc.), but I have not seen any negative reviews about this country. Everything there is really cheap and natural, the people are friendly, the country is calm. There are 2 seas (Ionica and Adriatic) with huge beaches and hot sun. It's just amazing, we love it!

And you can also go somewhere in Morocco or Tunisia, away from the cities and trudge there on the hotel beach alone or swim in the pool all day long. For example, we were in Tunisia near the city of Sousse (14 km from the city center) at the Tergi Club hotel. So there was no one at all, no people, no shops, no transport. All day long we lay on the beach, swam in the pools or slept in the room. However, such a monotonous rest quickly gets bored ...
We also rented a hotel in Ploce (Croatia). There were only 3 tourists for the whole hotel, cool! A bar and a restaurant were opened especially for us, silence, tranquility, buzz!
We also rested in Bosnia, in the city of Neum, also wonderful.
In short, the world is full of such places, you just need to decide where to go. But it's better to stay away from popular resorts and cities, it's always calmer there...

So what's good? No people, no shops, no transport. In short, there is no friend for the taste and color. with such success, you can stay at home. Shut up in an apartment for the holidays and enjoy! And about Albania in general I read a lot of negativity. Civilization 0. No service. Drunken and not friendly highlanders. And I love beauty, comfort and service. As well as a pleasant and cultured audience. To each his own!
