choice of resort
Tell me which resort to choose. Interested in a quiet place, near the village for walking in the evening, cafes, restaurants, a clean picturesque beach (small pebbles), it is imperative that there are pine trees and a lot of greenery.

I really liked Becici. Salad city :-) Or rather, a suburb ... Budva. You can also settle in Budva, but the sea in Becichi is more beautiful, of an unusual color. Rafaillovichi is also nothing, it's all one riviera - Budva. There are many restaurants, enough, many shops, in the Megamarket supermarket they fry meat bought from them, steaks and minced meat sausages for free, grill, over fire. So the apparts are best taken without food. The beach is good, small pebbles. The entire Budva Riviera is united by the Olympia bus route, buses run frequently, beautiful and air-conditioned, you can drive along the entire coast.
But the main thing: there are a SEA of people there. From the end of July to the end of August there is nowhere for an apple to fall. The people are mostly ours, compatriots, therefore it is dirty there: cigarette butts, bits in the water, diapers on the sand, well, passion in general. It is best to go there from August 20 (we were just there) or until June 20.

Greenery, pine trees are in Petrovac. True, I don’t remember if the pebbles are small or large ... It seems to be small after all.
We felt the smell of pines only while walking through the forest, along the sea in Dzhenovichi. This is a little strange, because pine trees grow almost everywhere, but we felt their strong smell only there. In other places, walking in the pines, for some reason there was no smell, including in the park near Milocer.
Budva, Becici, Rafailovici can hardly be called green cities. But there are small pebbles. Really very crowded

Petrovac is a very beautiful town! The mayor of Petrovac banned the construction of new houses, about 10 years ago, in my opinion. And so the town is the most beautiful :-) We went there for a walk, we really liked it.

You can still try Petrovac or Przno.
аватар Viltis
And I forgot that Przhno is a separate village :-) We went there every day for a walk, through Rafailovichi and the tunnel. What is Przno called in Montenegro? Hawaii?
аватар hatinka
No, they call Hawaii the island opposite Budva. As for Przhno, I still didn’t advise - the beach is unrealistically tiny, but there are as many boats and yachts as everywhere else. Personally, I didn’t even dare to swim there))) But it’s green there, yes)
аватар Solovita
Given that you can walk to a bunch of beaches around - the small beach on Pržno is not a problem!
аватар Viltis
Better vice versa: live in Rafailovici or Becici, and go to Przno. Because the infrastructure in Big Budva is better, more restaurants and shops, more space to turn around, less crowding. In Przno, just on a small patch of land, it is inconvenient. Yes, and there are more people on the beach, even in early September it was felt. Petrovac - yes, an alternative to Budva. Are all tours available there? Will have to clarify..
аватар Solovita
Viltis, I'm not even from Budva. It’s convenient in terms of living there, but anyway I usually go to the beaches on Trsteno and Ploče, maybe I’ll find another one for myself ...

In! Kindred soul :-) But is it better to be in Becici or Budva? Young people, I think, in Budva, life is in full swing there, but from housing to the sea it is closer in Becichi, and the sea is better there, in my humble opinion.
Tellingly, no one offers San Stefan :-)

From you lovers to go back and forth)))
My opinion is that it is better to settle where a person wants, where it is green, where it is cozy. But from there already, if there is a desire, to drive or walk. All the same, excursions are not the most important thing, especially since there are too many of them. Well, they are everywhere, and even if they were more important to a person than greenery, he would have written: "where to settle in order to see more")))
And if you want to visit different beaches, then you need to take a car. Although even minibuses are no problem, you can quickly and not expensively use them, the distances are quite small)))
Petrovac is also a large city by CG standards, and there, in addition to the city beach, there is Lucica within walking distance, and Dzhenovichi 1 km through the tunnels and a beautiful view road over the rocks among the pines. And to Buljarica, a long, half-empty beach, it takes half an hour to go ... In general, I am for Petrovac)))

I lived just in Sveti Stefan and I'm happy - there is also a lot of greenery. But if there is no car, then it is not very convenient in terms of the assortment of markets. Yes, and with the beaches there, you know, not very much - one beach can somehow be called free.
Go to neighboring Przhno once, and on the other hand, tiny nudist beaches and a nudist camp. I don't go there
Well, as for me, it’s not very good in Sveti without a car)))

Petrovac is beautiful, no questions asked. But he is far away. We are walkers, yes. And from Budva to Przno you can walk on foot, visiting at least 5 beaches along the way, and you can’t even count the establishments, shops, etc. In Petrovac, we will be deprived of this. From there, only by bus. And it is 1-2 euros from the nose in one direction.
So, I'm for Big Budva. From Budva to Rafailovici. But not in season, of course.
аватар Solovita
We were in Budva both ourselves and with a child - it was great. And in the evening he has something to do, and our souls walk. And I would not say that it was too noisy, despite the fact that it was August.
But in Becici it was just not overcrowded - we went there ...
аватар Viltis
O! Thank you. This is valuable information. Moreover, in Budva for 25 euros you can rent a 1-room apartment.

Thanks everyone for the advice! I decided to stop at Petrovac, as expected.

I offer a studio in Petrovac not far from the beach (not uphill!), the place is quiet, peaceful. A small hotel, the room has two beds, a kitchen, a bathroom, TV, air conditioning, a balcony. Cleaning every day. Price per season - 55 euros per day.
