Tell me about holidays in Montenegro
Good evening! We plan to go by car to Montenegro at the end of August (6 adults), advise which region to choose from the two (Budva or Becici) and some not very expensive hotel with a pool or a villa (preferably with good rooms and territory)? Thanks to all.

I advise Lydia, without a pool, but the sea is 10 minutes from the villa. Another hotel Slovenka Beach in Budva, there is a swimming pool. We didn't like it in Becici.

Slovenian beach sucks. when the plane did not arrive and the airport was closed for the night - the people who rested there were left without numbers. And the hotel itself is nondescript (reminiscent of a Soviet one). I advise Villa Lumovich, but it does not have a pool. with a pool there is Mogren, in my opinion. he is by the sea. But I don't know how. I personally would be strained to constantly hear the movement on the street.

I completely agree with Aleks1983, Becici did not like it, there were a lot of "Sovkov", Slovenian Beach, a branch of "Crimea" in the worst sense.

Only Budva! It all depends on you

If you want to party and play until the morning - definitely Budva. If a more relaxing holiday - Becici.
In Budva, I advise Lumovich - a great villa. Slovenian Beach sucks.
In Becici - hotels: Mediteran (there is a swimming pool, but not big, its own nightclub and a small water park; not a "scoop" at all), Iberostar, Splendid or Queen of Montenegro.

I dare to advise Petrovac or Buljarica (20 km south of Budva). But it all depends on what you expect from the holiday. I rested twice in Petrovac and once in Buljarica. It's cheaper than in Budva and Becici and quieter. Rested in private apartments. There will be questions - I will answer.

We ourselves have not been to this beach. It’s just that we often didn’t go to the beach by))) This is the only hotel I know with a pool. In general, I don’t understand why there is a pool on the sea, especially in Montenegro. There is where to go, look, and find a calm beach. And in general, as for me, in Montenegro it is better to relax in a villa)))

Yes, indeed, it is not entirely clear why there is a swimming pool on the sea, but if your heart desires - ANY WHIM FOR OUR MONEY.

I would advise Budva and the villa.
Montenegro offers a slightly different vacation (not like in Turkey or Egypt). In Montenegro, just the charm begins when you go outside the hotel, and do not sit there and you have everything included.
I advise Budva because there is entertainment, from where all the excursions, etc., and you can sleep on the couch at home in your own country.

with a swimming pool - Mogren 4* in Budva or Splendid 5* in Becici. the rest is up to you.

Regina Jelena with a rooftop pool))) in Budva, without a pool, check out Apart hotel Aquarius or Small hotel Lucic. Not bad in terms of price-quality ratio.
Becici is a sleepy kingdom for pensioners!

Only Budva!!! There's only one old town that is worth!!! And Mogren Beach! Yes, there are buses going everywhere. And in Becici it is very boring and there is nowhere to go except the beach.

Everyone who vacationed in Becici went on a train to have fun in Budva and were very upset by their choice of resort (meaning Becici compared to Budva).
So that!

Well, I would not talk about everyone .... For example, in Budva and Becichi, I don’t want to rest. It’s enough for me to go to the Old Town for one day and there’s nothing more to do in Budva ... dirt, a lot of people, a dirty sea ...
Discos, bars, restaurants ... yes - it's all there, but ...
Not everyone needs it. I prefer wildlife and clear sea....(and you can ride a train and have fun at home)

In Budva and Becichi - I agree. But a tour of the canyons is an indescribable beauty. The purest mountain lakes, beautiful mountains and mountain rivers, the highest automobile bridge in Europe over the Tara River, connecting two mountain ranges. I think that taleuk didn’t see all this because I walked around Becici and Budva. Of course, after this there will be a bad impression about the country as a whole. And in general, what's the point of going abroad to lie on the sand and swim in the sea? you can do the same in your own country, while saving extra money. Real tourists go to see the country as a whole, and not in search of garbage on the beaches, environmental assessments and sanitary standards, so they don’t stay in one place for a long time.

Sorry Alexey1983 you didn’t understand something (apparently you didn’t read my previous review). Therefore, it is not necessary to be rude, but we will respect someone else's opinion. The impression of the country is REMARKABLE. Canyons (especially the Tara River, the second in the world after the Colorado River Canyon, mountains, monasteries, Kotor, Skadar Lake .... everything is super ... but Budva itself ... and Becici .... no (my subjective opinion). Petrovac is better.
