Self-Guided Tours
Hi all! I'm going to relax in Budva and see the beauties there.
Naturally, I will use the services of tour operators in choosing excursions, but in addition to this, I would like to travel to the nearest interesting places myself, without being tied to a guide. Give, pliz, good advice and share the route :)
P.S. I'm also interested in the cost of discos in Budva.

Hey,
I definitely advise you to visit (better cruise on a boat) along the Bay of Kotor with a visit to the Blue Lagoon. You can independently go to the town of Ulcinj on the very border with Albania (a very beautiful town with a fortress, as well as the longest beach and the most popular nudist beach in Montenegro). Discos, on the waterfront or in disco clubs, next to the waterfront. Cost up to 5 euros (it was last year)

Hello, I join the previous comet. A boat trip around the bay is a must. Another tip is to go to the city of Kotor on your own. By bus from Budva - 3 euros (last year). There - a visit to the fortress (height 300 meters), the ancient city, the beach in the city park (unusual). Island St. Stfan 2.5 euros from Budva. Entrance to the territory of the island - 7 euros. The island is connected to the shore by an embankment. The island's beauty is indescribable.
As for Ulcinj, I disagree. The beach is big, but there is nothing to see there.

As for Ulcinj, I disagree. The beach is big, but there is nothing to see there. The sand is almost black and very fine. The wind is a muddy sea. Although I may not have been there at the time...
As for disco, they are specific in that there are no dance floors. Everyone is dancing anywhere, near the tables, the bar, sitting on chairs. But that's cool too... There are daytime disco's on the beach.

From Budva you can go anywhere. You just have to get on the bus. 2 euros and you are in Cetinje, the old capital of Montenegro. There is a beautiful monastery, the city itself is very quiet, cozy. For 1 euro you can drive to the island of St. Stephen, further to Petrovac, this is a very beautiful resort, where there are interesting architectural monuments and chic olive groves. I strongly advise you to go further, to the Old Bar. There, however, from the bus you need something else to drive up.
Interested in something else, write to my email. I returned from Budva on July 23 :)
