Three adults, budget up to $ 3000, for 10 nights. Interested in an inexpensive vacation. Haven’t been to Montenegro, maybe you can advise a villa or a hotel. I want to take a car and see the country.
These countries were not considered initially, but the coronovirus changed plans, unfortunately.

You have a very decent budget if you rent a car in Bodrum
Kadikale Resort in Bodrum there and on foot the nearest sights can be seen and even more by car.
If closer to Royal Asarlik city center
It is also possible to go to Kusadasi closer to Ephesus, Milli Park, Pamukkale, closer to Izmir and also closer to Alacati and Cesme than from Bodrum to go there
You can also stop and see a lot in the direction of Marmaris / Fethiye / Sarigerme. And as an option to get by car to Datca and there by ferry to Bodrum
From this region closer to Lake Koycegiz, Mount Babadag, Faralya, Saklikent

Vika284 I meant a car in Montenegro, but in principle, in Turkey, it would probably also be interesting. I would not want to sit in a hotel, I want to see something. From the Aegean coast, we were only in Marmaris and Icmeler.
And somehow our TO has few flights to Bodrum.
аватар Vika284
Marmaris and Icmeler, Fethiye, Oludeniz, Sarigerme are not quite Aegean, this is the Aegean-Mediterranean region that took the best in climate and nature from the Aegean and Mediterranean
Departures have always been less than in Antalya
аватар Meltoma
We planned Greece, now we need to decide something quickly, but there is practically no choice.
аватар Vika284
If you were only in Marmaris and Icmeler, you can visit this region again and, for example, choose Fethiye
From Fethiye, both on your own by public transport and by car, you can get to Oludeniz and Babadag Mountains, Saklikent National Park, Faralia Kabak Beach, Kalkan and Kaputas Beach and further to Kas
And in the other direction from Fethiye to Gocek - now a popular place for Turkish vip weddings, you can drive to Lake Koycegiz, to Bodrum

I watched Oludeniz myself, but of course the prices for decent hotels are very expensive. I know practically nothing about this side, I will study it.
Do you have any advice for Montenegro?
аватар Vika284
By Oludeniz a very good hotel on the 1st line with its own beach Club Belcekiz, should be in your budget
According to Fethiye Jiva Beach, this one is closer to the center of Fethiye and Calis beach
Club Tuana this one further from Fethiye

Behind the Belcekiz Hotel in Oludeniz is the Sun City Hotel, this hotel has its own beach in the Blue Lagoon

As for Montenegro, I would advise the village of Sveti Stefan (Sveti Stefan) which is not far from Budva. The sea is very clean, there are sections of the beach with a fairly comfortable entrance (small pebbles), unlike other places, including Budva itself, where you need slippers for swimming. Incredibly beautiful view of the island of Sveti Stefan and sunsets over Budva. I don’t follow the cost of hotels, I can only tell you about the hotel where we stayed - this is the Adrovic hotel. Beautiful views, the top floor faces the road, so there will be no problems with parking and sidings. If interested, I can share.
The country is small, so the distances to attractions there are also relatively small. The only thing is that the country is mountainous, so many roads are serpentine to one degree or another. Of the attractions - Budva, Perast, Kotor, Skadar Lake. The curious capital of Podgorica, but there are no special sights there, most of all I remember the monument to Vysotsky, the cable-stayed bridge in the evening and the pedestrian street ...

Shmoel. Yes, interesting, I would be grateful for any information and recommendations.

Croatia.
At Feeria tours and charter, you can buy charter tickets separately. The choice of hotels is normal just for the budget. And, as Zakharenko said, - PCR before departure ensures that you have healthy neighbors on the plane.
аватар Meltoma
Oh, thank you, I forgot about Fairy. For the rest, somehow Croatia comes out a little expensive.
аватар Pachok
They wrote there that there were a lot of shares, and they put them in a higher category than paid for. But this is information from the company, not from tourists. And the charter on Saturdays was put on UIA, on the 18th we already flew.

I will support Vika284 in the Turgutreis-Kadikalesi area in Bodrum. Excellent promenade along the Aegean Sea and a chain of hotels. In addition to Kadikale resort, look at La Blanche resort 5 *, Kairaba Bodrum Princess 5 *, cheaper - Sundance Resort -5 *. You can walk and ride bikes in two directions. To the south - a village with attached shops, excellent fish restaurants, illuminated pools with scurrying fish, and even a mall with boutiques. Once a week in the village there is a grandiose and inexpensive bazaar. You can go to Bodrum itself, there is a half-day boat trip with 4 baths in bays of different colors and salinity. With biometrics - a ferry to the Greek island of Kos! Good luck choosing.

Meltoma, wrote in a personal.
For many places there and a car is not required. To get to Budva, you can take a regular bus that stops near the hotel (5 euros for a ticket in 2015), they took the same to Skadar Lake (at the same time, the taxi driver recommended his boatman for a walk on the lake and brought him to one of the monasteries along the way) , we took an excursion to the Bay of Kotor in St. Stephen itself (bus + excursion boat around the bay with a stop at Perast, on the island of Gospa od Shkrpela and in the city of Kotor. Impressions from the boat trip about the bay (in fact, the fjord) are the best Photos on the Internet from these places will speak for themselves ...

You must visit Montenegro once! A feature is the absence of heat, which allows you to comfortably go to the beach and go on excursions (which cannot be said about Turkey in the middle of summer). One more thing: All apartments, aparthotels (and there they are mainly offered because there are very few large hotels) are sold without meals, at best for breakfast. And eating in restaurants is expensive there, the price tag is in euros and is designed for Europeans.
Excursions are sold right on the street, if you take a few, they give way, bargain. In ten days you will have time to travel all over Montenegro - it is small, very mountainous. It is difficult to drive along their serpentines, it is better to take sightseeing routes - everything is thought out there.
I really liked the location of MONACO Apartments Stevic in Rafailovici, or close to them. A pebbly beach with clear water is two minutes to the left of the hotel, a little further through the tunnel, in general, a superb beach. Budva is full of people, the beaches are not overcrowded.
аватар ka_Sandra
In addition to nutrition: we were told by the locals that in addition to restaurants there are cafes with complex lunches / dinners at reasonable prices. Portions are big. Here is one of them in Rafailovichi: https://goo.gl/maps/DkUMv3rby9FG8pqw8
In MOnaco apart, food is also good, we sometimes dined there.
And what beautiful palm trees grow there!

Does it make sense to take a hotel with meals in Montenegro, if so, with what? There are too many negative reviews about food in hotels.
аватар ka_Sandra
If you are going to go on excursions (and this is a must, because there is beauty there!), then breakfast is the best! Excursions are usually for the whole day. both buses and boats. Catering is also provided there.
аватар ka_Sandra
Choose your apartment carefully! Only in Budva itself is a lowland, in other villages there is a mountainous area. It seems that you look at the map - close to the sea, and there the street can go uphill steeply.

"Does it make sense to take a hotel with meals in Montenegro, if so, which ones? There are too many negative reviews about food in hotels."
- It makes sense, but in quality hotels (for example, Montenegro Beach, Iberostar Bellevue and the like).
Negative reviews for food are mainly in budget hotels.
аватар Meltoma
agent_borabora Well, this is understandable, in Iberostar the price is from 4000 €, this is not the budget that I expect to spend on Montenegro.
аватар ka_Sandra
It's not just the price of these hotels. For example, I am picky about the quality of sea water. And I always study in this respect the coast where I am going to go. So, the wide large beach in Becichi, on which the large hotels listed above are located, is yellow sand, as in Odessa, and the water is the same. Alas.
аватар Meltoma
ka_Sandra I agree, I would like a beautiful beach and water not like in Odessa. For the sake of this, I agree to tolerate modest apartments, if it were not far from the sea and not downhill, it would be super.
аватар Meltoma
agent_borabora Alexey, what do you think, you can definitely not count on Greece in August? Corfu was in the plans.
аватар agent_borabora
Meltoma, alas, I wouldn't count on Greece, Spain or Italy this season.
From Europe so far only Croatia and Montenegro.
аватар Meltoma
agent_borabora It's a pity. The countries available today were not included in my plans at all, and I think for many as well.

Beautiful beach not like in Odessa
