I have always belonged to the category of people who need a room exclusively for sleeping, and the main condition for it is the presence of a comfortable bed and hot water, of course, Villa "Boretta" provided this, but when I arrived there, I realized that all the same for more- less comfortable rest is not enough. I will not focus on such trifles as a non-closing bathroom door, a fungus on the shower stall, an aging, leaking bathroom. equipment, the door handle to the room turned out to be in our hands every time we pressed it, in the triple room we had one cup, one glass, one tablespoon, though there were two forks and, lo and behold, three knives, one of which we gave to the guys from the neighboring rooms, since they didn’t have any, the double-leaf balcony door does not close with a lock, (this is important for the first floor), since they don’t steal in Montenegro, cleaning the room consists in taking out the trash can, of course, all these are trifles that are not difficult to put up with.
BUT! We lived on the ground floor and experienced all the delights of the location of this villa. There is no balcony on the first floor, you have to dine on a common terrace, with a beautiful view of the public toilet at the gas station, on which you are completely deprived of privacy, as other vacationers of your villa go back and forth, and guests from neighboring rooms rest, but this of course rubbish. The worst thing is the SMELLS. They are diverse and multifaceted, and are not limited to gasoline vapors. It stinks at every time of the day in different ways, especially intense in the morning. One morning we woke up from the smell of gasoline that corroded our eyes - we came to refuel a gas station with it, despite the fact that on the first floor there was no question of sleeping with the windows open, this did not stop the gasoline vapors from stinking us all over the room.
Due to the proximity of the track at night, you can only fall asleep if you are very tired and immediately pass out, because if sleep does not come instantly, then it is difficult to fall asleep, firstly, the gas station is buzzing, and secondly, cars rush every second, in short, the noise is concrete and relax in silence not realistic, let me remind you that this is with closed balcony doors and shutters. Of course, from the point of view of infrastructure, "Boreta" is ideally located, literally a hundred meters from supermarkets, butchers, in which meat is fried in front of you, the Kangaroo restaurant, it is delicious and not expensive, a baker with delicious freshly baked buns, a bus stop, car rental and bicycles and of course the sea is literally a three-minute walk. Actually, I was guided by the infrastructure when choosing a villa, however, after resting there, I came to the conclusion that it is better to walk an extra three hundred or four hundred meters, since Budva is not a big town, but sleep in silence and not doom yourself to fetid aromas.
