The room is generally ok, but there is always something broken. Either there is no water for two days, then the boiler does not work, then the lamp burned out, then the shelf in the bathroom fell off. And so the rest. The refrigerator of some old model is buzzing. Conder creaks during operation.
Wi-Fi in the room practically does not catch, and if it catches, it is interrupted.
For such a falling apart, the price is clearly too high.
This hotel is definitely NOT recommended!

This is one of the best budget options. Everything, of course, is not new, but in good condition. If something does not work, the main advantage of this villa, the hostess Mirjana, will fix it as soon as possible. I have not met such a sympathetic and attentive person for a long time. Instantly responds to any request and gladly goes to meet you!
We had room 16 on the 4th floor, the view is excellent, a piece of the sea in the distance and mountains on both sides. Wifi works, but it's not perfect. The location is good. Despite the fact that there is a gas station nearby, it does not interfere in any way. 5 minutes to the left to the grocery store, there is also a butcher's shop. Next to the baker with very tasty pastries, especially Napoleon cake. On the right there is a cafe where you can have an inexpensive lunch (soup 1.5 euros, a choice of main courses). 13 minutes to Slovenian beach. I recommend Obala restaurant on the waterfront. In the same place, the cheapest ice cream is 0.5 euros a ball, very tasty. 20 minutes to the old town, 30 minutes to Mogren beach. In 5 Minutes Stop Of Minibuses, To Sveti Stefan 1.5 Euros. I definitely recommend the villa!

To begin with, this is not the first time we have rested in Montenegro and we can adequately evaluate the options for budget accommodation. Villa Boreta is definitely not the best option! We lived 10 days in the ninth room. As soon as we settled in, we were shocked by the condition of the room: the whole refrigerator was covered in some kind of sticky stains and hair, dirt literally fell off the air conditioner (we couldn’t use it), the dishes were broken, the TV didn’t work, the whole bathroom was in a terrible mold and the drain is clogged. … More ▾ To begin with, this is not the first time we have rested in Montenegro and we can adequately evaluate the options for budget accommodation. We immediately reported this to the hostess, who came and washed the refrigerator, brought two whole cups and wiped the air conditioner on top (it was an absolutely useless undertaking, since the filters were still clogged with dust).
For 10 days of staying at the villa, we only swept the floor once (although the cleaning should be every three days) and changed the towels once!!!
It was simply impossible to sleep, since there is a gas station nearby and a busy road on which motorcycles race all night.

We spent our honeymoon there) I must say right away that we bought it in advance, by early booking, back in winter.

We chose this accommodation option because of the price. The tour was from the tour operator Join Up and the choice was between this villa and Villa Markovic. They were the same price, and Boretta looked better in the photos, so we settled on this option.

What can I say? We liked. The villa itself is of normal condition, for this payment it could be much worse. For two, I went on a tour for 11 nights without food for 500 euros.

There was a request - that the bed was a double bed, and the request was fulfilled. Boretta itself is located on the road, on which there is constantly busy traffic, next to the gas station. It didn't bother us at all. Our room was on the second floor, the first at the stairs. They cleaned every day, but this is not cleaning like in hotels in Egypt, everything is more modest here. They cleaned the floor and threw out the trash.
The bed is not made, and things are not laid out in their places)))) If you are waiting for such a service, you are definitely not in Boretta.

Near the villa, if not in the direction of Mogren beach, but in the other direction, there is a supermarket, a small market selling vegetables and fruits, and a butchery. Separately, I recommend to go to this butchery, the entrance is next to the Mega Market. You can buy sausages, steaks, cutlets from them and they are immediately cooked on the grill. Insanely delicious and cheap! A serving of meat for two cost us about 5-7 euros.

The beach is far away. This is of course the biggest minus of the villa. It takes about 30 minutes to go to Mogren beach, and this path is exhausting if you go into the heat. To Slovenian beach min 5-10. But it is very dirty there, the feeling that you are on the Sea of Azov)). We found a way out for ourselves - we went to the neighboring town - St. Stephen. And they were relaxing on the beach. The sea is clean, the entry into the water is smooth, there are a minimum of people.

In general, if you want a beach holiday, you simply do not go to Budva! Choose Petrovac, St.
Stefan and other cities that are not tourist centers for vacationers. On Mogren beach there is nowhere to lie down already at 9-10 o'clock.

We recommend Boretta. Montenegro is a beautiful country, there is something to see. If you do not plan to wallow in the room, but only to spend the night, and in the morning again to the beach and excursions, Boretta is the thing!

Wi-Fi only at the entrance to the room, there is no further signal, but we did not expect anything else. And in the lobby catches well.

3. I can't say anything about other rooms, but we lived on the first floor in room 4 - so: this is a stable. Dirty, smells terrible, the lock in the shower room is not something that does not close - it simply does not exist there! Plumbing, such a feeling, still remembers Josip Broz Tito. The washbasin is leaking, there is always a puddle on the floor.
4. And it was we who completely closed our eyes to the constant noise and to the gas station with its smells five meters from the windows.
We stayed there for 1 night, and the next day we rented a room in another villa

I will not focus on such trifles as a non-closing bathroom door, a fungus on the shower stall, an aging, leaking bathroom. equipment, the door handle to the room turned out to be in our hands every time we pressed it, in the triple room we had one cup, one glass, one tablespoon, though there were two forks and, lo and behold, three knives, one of which we gave to the guys from the neighboring rooms, since they didn’t have any, the double-leaf balcony door does not close with a lock, (this is important for the first floor), since they don’t steal in Montenegro, cleaning the room consists in taking out the trash can, of course, all these are trifles that are not difficult to put up with.
BUT! We lived on the ground floor and experienced all the delights of the location of this villa. There is no balcony on the first floor, you have to dine on a common terrace, with a beautiful view of the public toilet at the gas station, on which you are completely deprived of privacy, as other vacationers of your villa go back and forth, and guests from neighboring rooms rest, but this of course rubbish. The worst thing is the SMELLS. They are diverse and multifaceted, and are not limited to gasoline vapors. It stinks at every time of the day in different ways, especially intense in the morning. One morning we woke up from the smell of gasoline that corroded our eyes - we came to refuel a gas station with it, despite the fact that on the first floor there was no question of sleeping with the windows open, this did not stop the gasoline vapors from stinking us all over the room.
Due to the proximity of the track at night, you can only fall asleep if you are very tired and immediately pass out, because if sleep does not come instantly, then it is difficult to fall asleep, firstly, the gas station is buzzing, and secondly, cars rush every second, in short, the noise is concrete and relax in silence not realistic, let me remind you that this is with closed balcony doors and shutters. Of course, from the point of view of infrastructure, "Boreta" is ideally located, literally a hundred meters from supermarkets, butchers, in which meat is fried in front of you, the Kangaroo restaurant, it is delicious and not expensive, a baker with delicious freshly baked buns, a bus stop, car rental and bicycles and of course the sea is literally a three-minute walk. Actually, I was guided by the infrastructure when choosing a villa, however, after resting there, I came to the conclusion that it is better to walk an extra three hundred or four hundred meters, since Budva is not a big town, but sleep in silence and not doom yourself to fetid aromas.

Of the minuses: 1. there is a road nearby (you can only sleep with closed doors and an air conditioner) 2. a stupid air conditioner (it only worked at 19 degrees) 3. a TV set for 3 channels (if it is important to someone) : -))) 4. NO WIFI (This is really annoying. . . )
Total: A good villa in the city if you agree to put up with the minuses, a good denouement. I coped with the conder by disconnecting from the outlet, having previously cooled the room to sleeping temperature, with the shutters closed, the street is almost inaudible. The only crap that killed it was the lack of wifi, it's a damn complete pipets... Not far from the beach through a very beautiful park

Who is just preparing for a trip to this beautiful country: I wish you a good vacation.
Our vacation started from the airport in Tivat. It is worth noting that in contrast to Ukraine, Montenegro has more friendly airport staff: no one is in a hurry, everyone is smiling.
Then we took 25-30 minutes by bus from the travel agency Pilon to Budva. As everywhere, probably, the roads abroad are good, and in comparison with the Ukrainian ones - fabulous, ie without pits and potholes. Looking ahead, I will say that returning to Ivano-Frankivsk from Lviv, I wanted to cry, because the Lviv region was met with a complete lack of road surface.
We lived in Villa Boret. I can not say that good conditions should be expected, because the proposed room was in a state of disrepair: mold in the shower, clogged sewer, but if you plan to use the room only as an overnight stay (and so it should be done), then you can put up with everything.
One room has a living room, a bathroom and a small kitchen with a cupboard with utensils, a refrigerator and a kettle.
About food. I can recommend the already famous Kangaroo restaurant 5 minutes walk from the villa: there is delicious trout, fish soup, and from the assorted fish is very tasty on the waterfront near the restaurant "North".
Beaches in Montenegro are mostly pebbles. We were on Sovensky beach (found a small piece with a relatively small number of people), Bechichi (very beautiful beach), walk about 45-50 minutes. from the villa (good charge), on the beach near the island-hotel St. Stephen, the famous Mogren. I liked the beach in Becici the most (beautiful pebbles).
The sea in Montenegro is extremely beautiful, transparent, quite cool, so you have to adapt.
Excursions. Offered everywhere on the waterfront. We drove to Boka Kotorska Bay from Pylon. Pretty well organized and really worth a visit.
That's probably all. Ten days pass quickly.
Most importantly, however, they leave memories of a very small but extremely beautiful country and a desire to return.

Of course, this is two stars, but the apartments are quite comfortable. One big minus - cleaning was not carried out. The maid only changed the towels and threw out the garbage once every two days. She pretended not to understand what she was talking about. Our friends lived in the Blazic villa, where the maid cleaned the apartment every day. Therefore, I gave a rather low rating to the hotel. The location is very convenient. It is close to the sea, although the villa is located on a hill, but it is separated from the road by a garden.
About Budva. Nice place, of course, attracts the old town. Lots of cafes and restaurants. In general, there were no problems with food. It was possible to cook in the room, but you can eat in the city. I recommend Parma restaurant to everyone. There you can order cold cuts for 13 euros. Portions are enough for three. I really liked kaimak, my friends - smoked meat. Everything can be bought in the market and in shops.
Excursions. A very beautiful country, excursions are inexpensive, but the guides themselves provide very little information: either there is nothing to talk about, or it is difficult to speak Russian. You can find a Russian-speaking guide with a car, and for an affordable fee, he shows you historical places.
Purchases. All souvenirs are inexpensive. There are many interesting things in the shops in old Budva (especially bags).
Population. Do not flatter yourself and hope for a special location of the local population. It is indifferently welcoming. No one is trading on the market, there is only one conversation - this is my work (in the sense of a source of livelihood), but at the same time, no one refuses a tip, even the waiters show initiative - they deduct them from the change in advance.
The sea is amazing, not warm (about 21 degrees), but unfortunately sometimes dirty.
As a result, Montenegro is a very comfortable country for recreation.
