The hosts are responsive people, they speak Russian well.
The room is basic, in need of refurbishment, the furniture is far from new. There is a kitchen with a minimal set of dishes, but there was no detergent and sponge for washing dishes. Refrigerator is noisy.
Cleaning in the room - the garbage was taken out daily, the towel was changed every other day, bed linen never in 7 nights. WI FI worked intermittently. The safe is free, the key will be given at the reception if you ask. There is a wall-mounted hair dryer, "hello from the past", it's good that I had my own. At the time of settlement, the socket in the bathroom fell out of the wall, after 2 appeals to the staff, it was subdued.
We lived in room 411 - a terrible smell of sewerage, especially at night, did not save the closed door to the bathroom. Obviously, the owners save on clean pipes, and tourists are told stories about such a "ubiquitous problem" in Budva. The maids daily opened the balcony door in the room wide open to ventilate it, and this, despite the fact that I turned to the owner of the apartment with a request not to open the balcony in our absence, because. valuables remained in the room, and the partition with the next room was low, the reaction of the owners was "zero".
I really regret that against the background of such a variety of offers I chose these apartments. The stated 3-4 stars are not true.
Apartment "Azzuro" I do not recommend!
I want to immediately warn the youth! This hotel is not for you, I do not know for whom it is intended, but definitely NOT for active, cheerful and positive young people, except perhaps for pensioners.
We are two young girls. When checking in, we were not provided with any internal rules for staying at the hotel, either in writing or orally.
On the very first day, they threatened to deport us several times with yells and shouts, call the police on us and accused us of some things we did not understand. Illegally took the passports, threatening the police and did not give them back until the very last day. For the fact that we just turned on the music until 21.00 (not for long, since we were very few in the room). For the fact that we came to the hotel in a state of intoxication, I ACCENT ATTENTION to the fact that we did not make noise, did not interfere with anyone, did not crawl, but simply came and went to our room. And even if they crawled, this is our right, we are adults, we have the right to drink as much as we see fit, to rest as we want. And no one has the right to scold us, let alone yell and humiliate us! We are guests who came to REST, paid YOU money, YOU LIVE at the expense of tourists!
I can say with confidence that there can be no talk of any hospitality, loyalty and culture in this hotel! One hypocrisy!
We are adequate people and only an adequate, CALM remark was enough if we interfered with or caused inconvenience to someone. And despite the screams, inadequate statements, accusations and threats, we apologized (without understanding why), because we are peaceful and non-confrontational people, and tried to be in this place as little as possible.
If it were possible to return the money for accommodation on that day, we would gladly do it, but this is impossible, so every time we went to change clothes or spend the night, we had to catch oblique, unpleasant looks and hypocritical smiles.
Pros: Cleaned and changed towels every day.
All the best!
Since we were looking for a cheaper option, we had a room on the 1st floor (most likely in Montenegro it’s like this everywhere, if you want a room with a mountain view, pay more for 200-300 euros) - this was a minus, there was no view from the balcony none. On the one hand, the next room, opposite the wall of the neighboring hotel (right butt), on the other hand, a narrow gap to the road. But since we walked a lot and were in the room only to sleep and eat, this did not upset us very much.
Towels changed every day, bed every 3 days. We had breakfast in the room with soft buns from the bakery nearby (everyone is open from 6 am), we went to lunch in a cafe also 100 meters from the hotel - Stela cafe. There and the prices are real, they cook delicious food. For dinner, pizza, gyros (like shawarma) or took meat in a butcher's shop (about 400 meters from the hotel, right behind the gas station in the direction of Becici). Although the sea is nearby, seafood and fish are expensive.
The guide on the tour advised us to try something local, such as flounder, because. sea bream, trout, sea bass are likely to be grown on fish farms. Every evening near the old town on the waterfront they sell fresh fish and seafood. There is a discount pizza shop next to the supermarket. Everything is cheaper there than in a store, wine is 1-1.5 euros, water is 2 times.
Upon arrival, the hotel representative met and drove to the place. The representative of the travel company told us that they also bring guests to the bus when leaving, which was confirmed at the reception. In fact, when we were evicted, they did not bring us. It was good that it was not far to go and a suitcase on wheels. This was the second disadvantage.
On the beach - in the central part a little dirty and algae, but the pebbles are smaller. We went swimming further (in the direction of Becici), where the pebbles are larger, but the sea is clear as a tear.
In general, the vacation went well, the views are gorgeous, the sea is warm, the people are friendly.
Went to this hotel on the recommendation of a tour company.
I read the reviews, mostly all positive, but there were some with negative points, which I then had to pay attention to. The most important thing is the location of the room in the hotel (view from the window). There are rooms, the view from which overlooks the wall of a neighboring building (literally at arm's length). Our tour company hushed up this fact and did not immediately provide any information on the possible booking of a room with a different view (of the mountains). Everything fell down on the fact that there is no specific booking and price ranking in this hotel depending on the type. Indeed, the price for these rooms (wall view) is the same as for the mountain view rooms. We managed to book a normal room only after communicating (a written request) with the tour company (host).
Further communication / stay took place in a normal way without any special complaints.
Further points:
* cleaning in the room - 3 (mediocre: dust was removed from the floors poorly, mirrors / glasses were not wiped);
* change of towels - 5 (daily, clean);
* kitchen - 2 (Electric stove of two burners, warming up for 20 minutes. It seems that the power of the stove is specially adjusted in such a way that there is no possibility / desire to cook anything. For reference, this is number 306. Our water never boiled );
The most recent event of our holiday, which spoiled all the impressions about this place and the owner, was the case of theft in our room. They decided not to inflate the event itself and find it out on the spot, but the owner decided to hush up this incident, and the staff decided to blame everything on other guests (our neighbors). Something that had no special value, but was essential to us, was gone. It was a birthday present from my child to me - a starfish, which he himself got from the bottom of the sea (all this happened on my birthday - my tears and the tears of a child). At first, everything was blamed on our neighbors (an adjacent balcony, a partition 1 meter high), false facts were cited that allegedly took place and it was argued that the maid could not do this. After a joint showdown, everything fell into place - a starfish was immediately found (it was thrown by the staff into our things). We were also accused of inflating the scandal because of such a trifle, they say, it was not gold or diamonds that disappeared. All this happened the day before departure and it was assumed that we would make a big deal out of it.
This day was worth the whole rest for me and crossed out all the positive impressions of this place, the owner and the staff.
It turned out that we lived a week in the Apartment: 35 m2. - Living room-kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, two small balconies Designed for a maximum of 4 people. And a week in Studio 02 + 1:22 m2. - Room with mini kitchen, bathroom, large loggia. Designed for a maximum of 3 people. The general opinion is that everything is quite decent. Of course, in the first case it is much more comfortable, fresh renovation, large bathroom. In the second option, you get the usual average three-ruble room in Turkey, but with a mini-kitchen (although the bathroom here is for people with a maximum of 50 sizes). We were lucky with the view from the window.
The hosts (which is a whole family) are mostly very welcoming.
Food was not taken. In Montenegro, it is cheap to eat both in cafes and on your own, while not tied to a place or time.
Walk to the sea - 20 minutes to the Slavic beach, 25-30 to Mogren.
Rest was a success.
Location:
The villa is located 10-15 minutes from the Slavic beach, which the Montenegrins themselves consider the dirtiest beach and never swim there. There are 2 shops nearby, a lot of cafes, fruits, etc.
Staff:
Friendly, smiling, even seemingly responsive, but personally it seemed to me very fake, because. When we left, no one smiled at us. What for?? ? They didn't even really say goodbye.
Housemaid. It seems not a bad aunt, but STABLE did not want to close the balcony after cleaning. Those. we come - and the balcony is wide open, and the terrace is shared, and in the next room the tenants changed every day. After that, we asked not to clean the room at all, which was also refused.
Number:
Is a song. I didn't think that the studio (we are talking about room 412) could be so small. Well, that's not much of a problem. The problem is that there is dirt everywhere, the equipment is half-dead: if you think that there is plasma in the room, you have to disappoint, a small TV with 6 channels, 3 of which are local, and the rest are almost not shown. The air conditioner works only at 16, but it almost does not blow due to the amount of dust in the middle (I even took a picture, I could not restrain myself). Well, the surf at night will dilute you with a trio - a perforated air conditioner without a night mode function, a tractor-refrigerator and a ticking clock. Healthy nerves become sick. Well, and most importantly - the smell... The sewers are not cleaned here in principle. And this strong smell often penetrates the room. As a plus, I can note a large terrace, but it would be better to increase the number due to it.
There is a kitchen with all utensils - no problem here.
There is a safe in the room, but you have to pay for it (1 euro per day), wifi is also paid (5 euro for 7 days with your computer, or 1 euro for 10 minutes at the reception). You will also be prompted to call anywhere in the world. But as soon as you need this service - get a refusal, because. they can't check how much you've said. If necessary, you will not be provided with a mobile phone, even if you have problems.
And, as a conclusion - if someone hopes for a bed with an orthopedic mattress - it is also forced to disappoint. The sofa in the room is not the most comfortable.
Well, like everything.
