So, I'll start from the very beginning. We arrived at the hotel at 12 noon, immediately put bracelets on our hands, but said that we could not have lunch yet, only dinner. Of course, we didn’t give a damn and went to eat, no one watched whether we checked in today or when there))))) They said that the room would be ready at 15, but we had to wait another 30 minutes and not in vain.

We paid for the standard one, and as a result we got a two-story villa with a sea view with a capacity of 6+ people, two bathrooms and three toilets. It's just gorgeous, although it was a little further to get to the sea, but these are trifles.
The beach is gorgeous, you can always find shade, despite the fast moving sun. At 6 in the morning all the sunbeds are free, choose any (yes, yes, we are one of those who throw a towel on the sunbed at 6 in the morning)))) -4 for the whole week of rest.
The food on the first day seemed just superb, but then it let go)))) But in general, although not a very large variety, I eat everything from what was there, albeit after. since we will take only breakfasts, we will not dine and in the evening we will go to local restaurants, of which there are millions in Budva and they all look very beautiful, and some queues even at 10 at night)))
Wi-fi separately at the hotel and separately on the beach. Catches better than in Turkey, Greece and Egypt. But it’s better to buy a local SIM card with 500 gigs of Internet for 10 euros))) I didn’t study this question in advance and regretted it)))
The location is excellent, on the one hand the Old Town, on the other the beaches of Mogren and Mogren 2. It is worth visiting both there and there, at least once)))
Of course, there are downsides, that on departure they tried to rip off 16 euros from us for water, which we did not take at the bar, but I stupidly refused to pay and did nothing with me))) But that’s it, basically everyone is polite and friendly.
In short, there is no comparison with Greece and Turkey. If you go then only in this hotel. It has the best location and is the only one with its own beach where you can drop your towels and go for lunch. I will definitely come back here)

Near the old town, shops, cafes. I advise you to drink coffee in the Mogren restaurant opposite the Avala hotel, cappuccino is cheaper and tastier for 1 euro. Coffee For breakfast is free disgusting, I haven’t drank such a substitute for a long time. Own beach. Entering the sea is better from the pier or in slippers from the shore.

She wiped the dust everywhere. The staff is polite. The food is tasty but monotonous. For 10 days, squids were 2 times, fish every day, mussels 2 times. Despite the shortcomings, I recommend this hotel. Perhaps it is better to take one breakfast, then you can diversify the food. Montenegro is very beautiful.

The hotel corresponds to the European four. To the sea 30-50 meters - a rarity in Europe. Your own beach. The food is excellent. Location is great. Infrastructure. The food is decent, varied: meat - three to five dishes, fish - one or two. No porridge. Bunch of salads. For dinner, veal or fish soup for the first.

The food is decent, varied: meat - three to five dishes, fish - one or two. No porridge. Bunch of salads. For dinner, veal or fish soup for the first. Cakes - three or four types. Fruit - five types. Pools - 5 (with Jacuzzi). You can go straight from the sauna to the sea - 100 m. There is a decent gym - located in a U-shape, so there are more simulators than on the hotel's advertisement (official site). Free of charge - water in the gym, sunbeds, umbrellas on the private beach - for all hotel guests - free of charge. There are always places both in the SPA and on the beach. I do not recommend massage, ours is better, their back hurt for 2 days from their massage. The staff is trying their best. We changed towels in the villa every day and cleaned, the bed was changed 2 times in 7 days. We sometimes left 1 euro, on the first day we lay for 2 days (we thought maybe not for them). Escalator work. Out of 4 escalators with 17-20 steps each, 1 did not work a day, 2 for a couple of hours in 7 days. Walking is a little fitness, there is nothing to be lazy on such food. The room itself is super: a villa with a bath and shower, 2 bathrooms, a bidet. Located on two levels, spacious balcony, rich interior. Rooms in the main building (not villas) with a view not on the sea (on the square) - get ready to move until 23.00-00.00. But there is European "noise", people just walk around and relax, they don't buzz. Music in hotels along the promenade is 200 meters further.
The hotel has a touch of respectability and it is. Montenegro is a beautiful country, Budva is a recreation center. Go, you won't regret it. Peculiarities. Yes, the hotel requires 100 euros ("hotel policy") - a deposit upon check-in. Half an hour of time and communication with the hotel manager that this is not in the contract led to the fact that the deposit was reduced to 50 euros. But he is also somewhere right - for the services of the hotel, if suddenly you owe, and the money is spent, gone, disappeared, evaporated, how to recover it from the client (? ), If there is no deposit.
Drinks for dinner except "all inclusive" are paid - except for water, it is in the machine in the right corner of the "dining room". For seven days, for two with a child, drinks cost 30 euros for dinners with drinks - orange juices, local beer, delicious black tea, juice, local mineral water Prince. Theoretically, there is a fine of 50 euros for bringing your own food and drinks into the territory. In practice, the manager said that this never happened. We confirm. Once they left on the table (accidentally) a two-liter bottle of non-hotel mineral water on the table for a day. They didn't fine. In general, the hotel is designed for a leisurely, solid, measured, relaxing, comfortable stay. So it seemed to me and I'm happy! A 10 year old child too.
We rented a car - 35 euros (Chevrolet - Spark on the mechanics). Bargain for a 5 euro discount boldly, give way. There are a lot of companies, there is a lot of competition. Driving south is not bad, the beach in Kamenovo is super. Were in the monastery above St. Stephen in the mountains according to the sign. Seriously, neezezhenno, individually. Met, held, showed. They didn’t take money, I took an icon for 4 euros - I liked the execution technique, mead - 2 or 3 euros, lavender oil.
I read about theft on different sites - nonsense, they left everything on the beaches and in the hotel - no one encroached.
In general, the holiday was a success. Which is what I wish you. Who flies from Ukraine, get ready, Join Ap, whose representative there Pilon provided us with a flight on the day of departure instead of 17.00 at 10.00. Muscovites in this regard without failures. So Ukrainians, just in case, get ready for an early flight back home.

Hello everyone! We rested for a week with a family of 4 people at the end of June 2013, we took 2 doubles and everything is included.
About the good. The hotel is located right on the beach with its own beach and at the beginning of the Budva promenade, next to the old town. room 2 euros per hour. The design of the hotel is modern, although a bit dark. The staff is friendly, the cleaning in the rooms is good, for some reason they didn’t take tips. SPA, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor, Turkish bath, sauna, gym is well equipped. I liked the excursions through the canyons and to Kotor.
About the bad. The rooms are very small, you constantly cling to something. In addition to the bathroom, large translucent shower boxes were installed in the rooms, which is why the area decreased. It is forbidden to bring drinks and food into the hotel, a fine of 50 euros. , not in supermarkets, but in the rooms the maids do not react to this. The food hall is located 5 levels above the lobby, of which 2 must be climbed on foot, and 3 - on escalators, one of them did not work all the time, and the other every other time. narrow, in a sea country only one type of fish was offered. There are a lot of salads, but most of them are tasteless. Most of all, I was struck by the all inclusive, which includes local red and white wine. beer, water, 3 types of very diluted juice, coffee and tea. And for those who eat without all inclusive, you had to pay extra for all this. And you can use all inclusive during meals only at the 4th level in the bar near the small pool. the lower large pool and on the beach already have to pay for it! ? It is difficult to enter the water because of large boulders, on which sea urchins dangerous for the legs come across. I saved a pier extended into the sea, from which you can dive or descend, climb the ladder immediately to the depth. By the way, on the neighboring beaches Mogren 1 and 2 in the water of boulders no, but you have to pay for all accessories. When I asked the senior manager of the hotel "when it is planned to remove the boulders" I received the answer "It's the sea and we didn't throw them there. " In general, despite the minuses, the trip was satisfied.

This is the oldest hotel in Budva, built in 1937, of course, it has long been reconstructed and renovated several times. Avala is very well located - near the Old Town and Rachardava Head Beach, over which the hotel pool literally “hangs”. Also, the most famous beach of Budva Mogren is not far from here. The hotel outwardly fully complies with high standards and its respectability is visible everywhere. Naturally, you will have to pay for all this accordingly. Breakfast is provided, but if desired, there is where to have lunch and dinner - several restaurants and bars. In the immediate availability of a lot of other cafes, snacks and restaurants, expensive and not very.
The hotel has a swimming pool, swimming in which you can contemplate the beauty of the sea, stretching into the horizon. Also in Avala is the Casino, which opens its doors to lovers of this business 24 hours a day. It offers a Spa center with all the consequences, including an indoor pool. Still all sorts of shops, etc. In general, a hotel with a status.
Internet at the reception is free, in the room you will have to fork out for it separately.
ROOMS in a hotel of different levels, I had the honor to contemplate the superior, where the bedroom and living room are separate. The room has everything you need - mini-bar, satellite TV, hair dryer, air conditioning, safe, telephone, balcony, and most of the rooms have a sea view. Bathrobes and slippers are also available.
Despite the fact that the hotel is already of respectable age, the rooms, and indeed the whole complex, look quite modern. True, as for me, everything is somehow gloomy and dark there, even sensible pictures did not work out. Although, there are lovers of such designs, which means they will appreciate it.
A LITTLE BEACH OF BUDVA. I'll start with the distant Yaz, it is so called because it is located in the lovely and clean bay of Yaz (JAZ). From Budva it is easy to get there by taxi, only 5 Euro. The cost of sun loungers and umbrellas is 3 Euros per unit, but many sunbathe just like that on clean pebbles covered with a towel. The water there is of excellent transparency, the bay itself is the most beautiful, and even protected from the wind, so you are guaranteed beach pleasure. The beach is quite well equipped, sunbeds and umbrellas are different, for every taste, there are cafes and bars.
Perhaps someone will be interested that in this bay, on the left side, if you look at the sea, behind the rock is one of the nudist beaches of Montenegro. Fans of this business understand what it is about, but I want to warn those who are just curious and looking for adventure - it is better for single girls not to meddle there. The fact is that one of the girls from our company, who decided to merge with nature and get complete relaxation on an almost empty beach, had an incident there, from which she could not recover for a long time. It turns out that everything is simple - fans of the rest “what mother gave birth to”, perceive it all as the norm of life, but local guys think differently - a beautiful girl came to show herself, which means that we must also demonstrate everything. Thank God, everything ended well, but the girl suffered a lot of fear, especially considering that the beach is rather deserted. Please note that the proximity of this beach will in no way disturb the peace of the rest, most likely, the majority of vacationers will not even notice its presence.
I highly recommend going there, at least once on an excursion - this is one of the best beaches on the Budva Riviera.
Slovenska Plaž a beach. What to say? The beach is quite long, but in the season there are still people there, like herrings in a barrel - such a pleasure for an amateur. It should be noted that this beach is equipped with good infrastructure - here you will find bars, and restaurants, and cafes, and snack bars like "fast food", but of high quality, and even fishermen with the sale of their catch after 16.30 (closer to the Old Town). In some restaurants, you can order the preparation of fresh seafood - 8 Euro per kilo, no matter what kind of living creatures you buy, moreover, this is with serving and service, I think this is a good price. On this beach there is a local open-air disco called "Trocadero" (not to be confused with a nightclub with the same name). There are also “changing rooms” - peculiar, look at the photo. Toilets are all paid, sun lounger + umbrella 10 Euro - bites. Then, there are a lot of water activities - also their own nuances, so be prepared.
Richard's Glava Beach is a small beach that literally squeezes into the Old Town on one side, and the rocks leading to Mogren Beach on the other. On this beach there is a bar where you can take a beer and sit in sun loungers for free and use the toilet (but this is if you are lucky to take a suitable table). There is a pier there, but it is dilapidated or not yet repaired. The bottom is large pebbles, but large stones are regularly removed from the beach. This beach is used by vacationers from Avala. It offers a gorgeous view from the Citadel in the Old City.
Mogren Beach is perhaps the most famous of the local beaches. In fact, there are two of them - Mogren-1 and Mogren-2. A picturesque path along the cliff leads to them just from the beach of Richard's Head. There is also a bay, which consists of two parts, which designate two beaches. To the second Mogren, you will have to go through a wooden passage in the rock, and, at the initial stage, you will have to enter the water knee-deep, and maybe even higher. But this does not stop the fans of this place and there are also enough people there, perhaps a little less than on the first beach, but in the season, I mean, it will be dense there. On the beach, everything is available for a comfortable stay - bars, showers, toilets. On the second beach there is even something similar to a restaurant, but in early June it was still closed, so I can’t say for sure.
Hotel Avala is one of the few (if not the only) places in Budva itself where I can recommend to stay and relax for pretentious tourists who prefer large hotels with all amenities and pleasures. Of course, I will not undertake to say how much the price corresponds to the quality, therefore, the decision is only yours.

Good day to those who choose this hotel! I want to say right away that I am not a picky person, and I am not looking for flaws. I usually like everything, I enjoy the moment and do not notice any minor shortcomings and service problems in the hotel itself, etc. So it was this time. The country is amazing, I dream of visiting again.

But let me tell you about the hotel. The first two days I could not understand why I read bad reviews about this hotel. And she told her companion - that I do not notice anything bad at all. To which he replied that the food for 5 stars, which they claim should be an order of magnitude higher. But since we had enough, I'll skip this moment. Cleaning - yes, on the first day they cleaned it well, but then, apart from changing towels, cleaning was not carried out, but only pretended to be - they folded my nightgown on the bed and that's it! The floor was not washed at all! I note that the door to the minibar was broken and did not close, the door to the toilet also did not close at all! Room size is good, bathroom was great! We were given a room with a view NOT of the sea, but in the opposite direction, although it was paid with a view of the sea. I don’t understand why this happens in 5-star hotels, since it’s already been paid, why they don’t give what we paid for. Heavy huge dark curtains hang on the windows, from which the cornice in the room broke and hung down. It’s good that on the penultimate day, so we didn’t fix anything. The pool is big but the jacuzzi didn't work! Well, the most unpleasant thing is that we forgot to close the safe and 100 dollars were stolen from us. The administration didn’t send us off right away, she found out that the maid came in, but they couldn’t help us with anything. They offered to call the police, but they immediately said that this would not help us. We did not call, we did not want to waste precious time on this. But it was unpleasant. It's strange if that maid will continue to work in this hotel. The only person who asked me or solved the issue of money was a nice man who helped bring in and take out things. Probably something to the porter's water - thanks to him for your attention, and hello! By the way, the maids broke into the room without knocking or ringing at any time, which is strange. How is that possible. So do not forget to close the door on a special inner hook, because all the maids have the key to the door and will come in at any moment.
We traveled around the country a little, the beauty is indescribable, the people are kind. Rented a car. The hotel wanted to charge us twice as much for the car. The administrator, Dragoslav, wanted to fool us))) And the girl Ivanna turned out to be much more decent. We found a very good man, a taxi driver - his name is Goran. He helped us get the car. And then he took us to the airport from Budva to Podgorica for 40 euros. He helped to carry things, and to find the registration desk, I kissed him as a keepsake, if we go again, we will call Goran. He promised to pick us up from the airport. Goran's phone number, if you need to tell anyone, write! And they charged us 100 euros in advance - it's very expensive! Oh, yes, the restaurant in the old town of Mozart is a very cozy place, everything is delicious, the portions are huge! Very nice place to sit and enjoy. It is small, but I highly recommend visiting it. Pork in blueberry sweet sauce - it was very tasty! But the Chinese restaurant - Shanghai, in the same place in the old city turned out to be terribly tasteless and expensive. We wanted sushi, but there was no sushi in the Chinese restaurant, I took soup and a salad of seafood - but everything was defrosted only, in short, with pieces of ice, in general, bad memories of this place. Go to Mozart!
When I left, they took 100 euros from us for a mini bar, although according to our calculations there should have been about 50, and it’s not clear what the calculation scheme is, no one went up to the room, they didn’t call anyone, they didn’t count anything, I don’t know how it is should work, but if I took everything that was left in the mini bar with me - and this is a full bar of everything - then I would still pay 100 euros. But after finding out about the theft, I gave 100 euros, said good bye and went to a taxi, because the time before the plane was running out.
Ask, I will answer questions. The country of Montenegro is magical, but I can’t say that I am delighted with the hotel! 5 stars - should not create so many unpleasant moments, let them be trifles, but as they say - trifles do not play a decisive role. They decide everything!
Go to Montenegro, and do not sit in a hotel or on the beach - go see the country - it deserves to be seen!
I want to say right away that I am not a picky person, and I am not looking for flaws. I usually like everything, I enjoy the moment and do not notice any minor shortcomings and service problems in the hotel itself, etc. So it was this time. The country is amazing, I dream of visiting again. We stayed at this hotel and were not very satisfied. We won't go again. Cleaned up badly, before hanging clean towels in the bath, the cleaning lady for some reason put them on the floor. In addition, for 2 weeks they never brought new shampoos, etc. In general, no one wiped the dust for a long time, everything had to be wiped.

The phone was broken, all 2 weeks, they fixed it only 2 days before departure. Upon arrival, 2 days from the tap poured boiling water. In Montenegro, there is a general problem with water.
Breakfast is standard, nothing special, only with green and bitter fruits (it would be better not to give at all). The staff is slow, until you interrogate something, it's easier to bring everything yourself.
But the most interesting thing is that a laptop was stolen from our friend right from the room. It just disappeared/disappeared. I did not notice any "movement" from the reception and management. They made a veal look, they say we don’t know anything and don’t want to know. Shame.
As for the beach, for some reason they started building it at the end of the season. I don’t know who will swim and rest there in the fall, except perhaps seagulls and pigeons.
This is not a level 5 *. , I would say 3-4.
The water is dirty on all the nearest beaches, you go into the sea "you go to the right - you step on a hedgehog, you go to the left - on a poop, you will break your legs straight. " I'm exaggerating a bit, but that's the way it is. Do not confuse the transparency of the water with cleanliness, lack of garbage and normal toilets. The water is cold.
Since someone will go to Montenegro, I advise you to visit excursions: rafting (clear water, colors bluer than the sky - it’s worth seeing in life, fabulous nature, delicious food), Cetinje Monastery and Ostrog (in the rock, there is the right hand of John the Baptist), and a boat cruise along the Bay of Kotor, there is also a church on the island and beautiful architecture in small towns. Thanks to trips to these places, we did not regret that we came here at all.
And further. All food in Montenegro is spicy and very salty. Delicious, but with gastritis and chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, it’s definitely not worth going.
We flew through the airport in Tivat. Bradlam, worse than Boryspil 10 times.
All in all, I won't go again.
