Good afternoon!! ! I just read the previous review and was a little horrified. It seems that the author and I went to absolutely 2 different XM hotels : ) Anyway, I will describe my impressions, and you decide.
To begin with, I am a rather picky girl, I have already visited 7 countries and I can compare the quality and service in hotels. When we arrived in Budva from the airport, we were provided with a transfer by the owner’s personal car completely free of charge (the host bus only goes to Slovenska Plaza), it was the same when we flew away (at 5 am !!! ) People got to some other villas on their own ! ! ! We were put in a room right away, although we arrived early (around 8 am) We immediately liked the room with a view from the balcony, it really was on the wall of a neighboring hotel, and on the first floor, they were afraid to leave things on the balcony, also the room is located right behind reception and hall and you can constantly hear people talking. They asked to change. They agreed without any problems, only after 14.00 when the resettlement ends and they will know which rooms are free. Until 14 we were offered to take a shower and relax in this room, then we went to the sea so as not to waste time. When we got back to 14 we were actually shown 2 rooms. One was on the 4th floor, he was very good. small and it was necessary to climb far, so they immediately refused. The second ball room is on the 2nd floor. Just perfect both in size (22 m) and in appearance from a huge balcony. It was necessary to pay 50 euros for it, but it was not a problem for us (what is 3.5 euros per person per day for comfort), especially since we were traveling on budget vouchers. It seems to be room 206. (When you go up the stairs to the 2nd floor, you run right into his door. The administrator, Vlasta, is just smart, speaks excellent Russian and answers all questions. Very friendly. We paid 1 euro per day for a safe. Breakfast they didn't take it, although they said it was necessary, we replied that they didn't warn us at the agency and we don't want to. There were no more questions about this. The rooms are cleaned well, towels are changed every day!!!! There is a hair dryer. Without any Tips ( well, this is optional. ) The kitchen is good, everything is there for cooking (pots, frying pan, plates... ) across the road 2m : ) there is a store "U VOVA" every morning they bring very tasty and fresh pastries. A huge croissant (about 200g) costs 0.80 cents. There is a Turk in the room, so coffee with croissants on your summer terrace (chairs and a table with a tablecloth !!! ) You are provided, not to mention an omelette with prosciutto or what you like to have breakfast there : ) Wi-Fi is a moot point, well, maybe someone for work and you need it, we generally didn’t have time for these things. Is that Skype for communication with loved ones for 15 minutes a day. It can be found in a cafe opposite the old town. (half an hour 1 euro) There are excellent monitors with all the necessary equipment. The only drawback of the hotel is poor sound insulation, so if you are a light sleeper, take earplugs. Individual air conditioning, works fine, 2 Russian channels. Not very comfortable shower, behind a curtain slightly smaller than standard showers, but this did not create much discomfort.
Of course, they lied a little about the distance to the sea, but if in time, then it is 7 minutes to Slovyansky beach. walking distance to the old town and Mogren beach - 23min. To a good big supermarket 4min. This is if you need to buy gifts and stock up in a serious way, then of course it’s cheaper there (by the way, they bought VIO home for a gift in a supermarket cheaper by 1.5 euros than in duty free : )) They just put it in the middle of the suitcase between things. So buy all the gifts in Budva. By the way, magnets and all sorts of souvenirs are cheaper in Budva than in other cities (were in Kotor, Herzog Novi). Magnet 2 euros. Prshut somewhere around 16 euros per kg. It is certainly worth a try and of course their local olives by weight (about 4 euros per kg) Melons, if still available, they are insanely tasty and sweet. And blue cheese (who loves) is much cheaper than ours. From wine I like white, that's why I drank chardonnay. And vranak is mostly red wine. In Montenegro, of course, you should not take breakfast or something else at the hotel, as there is a lot of food anyway, you want to try and experiment everything, the products are not at all expensive. 85 e-1.5l. , juice 1.5l from 60e to 1.5e. There are a lot of restaurants on the embankment: soup from 1.5 to 3 E, shawarma 3E, pizza (in pieces by weight somewhere like ours with a diameter of 30 cm) 2E. Wine (bottle) in the restaurant from 10E. Fish is expensive from 35e per kg. Discos - wherever it's noisy : ))) We liked Tracodero. You need to walk along the embankment restaurants, see what you like, where there are more people and more fun, go there. Olympus, for example : ) Hookah - expensive and the same price everywhere - 23 euros.

Excursions, of course, should not be bought at the hotel. At the beginning of the promenade near Slavyanskaya Plaza there are points with Russian-speaking agents, and they took it there. We went to the Bay of Kotor. The boat ride takes about 3 hours. You can go to the upper deck and sunbathe there all the time. There are leatherette mattresses, but do not forget to take towels and swimwear. There you can buy lunch for 6 euros pork with fries, I do not advise taking mackerel with vegetables. Cola 1.5e, beer-2e. Do not buy ice cream in Montenegro, ate in several places, did not like it anywhere. 2nd excursion - through the canyons, very extensive. I liked it, it's beautiful. To go far, of course, but did not regret it. The main rule is to take seats to the right of the driver, then you will see everything. You will drive back along a shortened other road and, moreover, at night and tired. Ate in a restaurant soup + salad + coffee with milk 6E. On the road, of course, you should take water and some kind of pita with prosciutto and herbs, or cookies. Although the prices for food and water are the same everywhere, regardless of location. In supermarkets, of course, a little cheaper. So even if you didn’t take anything with you in the city, you can always buy something. The 3rd excursion was to Dubrovnik (Croatia) I liked it. The excursion of the local guide was boring, so we went for a walk ourselves. Pigeons are fed on the market square at 12, do not miss it : )) And then we went to sunbathe on the beach for 5 minutes. from the old city, very different from ours, so we were satisfied. 3 hours was enough. So it's up to you excursion or beach. By the way, in Dubrovnik everything is more expensive than in Montenegro by about 2 times. Magnets 4E. 3 Excursions cost us 85 euros. + our lunches + entrances for 2-3 euros for different boats and churches on request.
The nicest and most beautiful beach in Budva is Mogren, from Azzuro 23min walking distance to the other end of the promenade, but it's worth it. Located outside the old town about 200 meters along the path past the rocks. Ask - show. When we were there it was free, now I don't know.
So enjoy your holiday in this small but beautiful country. There will be questions, write. I will gladly answer.
