The hotel left a double and not the most pleasant impression. Upon check-in, the hotel turned out to be overbooked and about 40 tourists were placed in rooms not at the Aleksandar Hotel, but in the rooms of a hotel located on the same territory at a lower level of Slovenskaya Plaza. Judging by the fact that it was in the next. days is the hotel's policy. The showdown did not lead to anything; neither the sending party nor the receiving party could influence the hotel. Considering the difficulties of getting from Ukraine through airports in third countries, 24 hours on the road and checking into the wrong place followed by relocation tomorrow was not encouraging. But the next the day was even worse when I came to rent out a room in Slovenska plaza and get my room in Aleksandar, just like other tourists in a similar situation. I and 3 other families had to wait the longest and they gave me a key to a room, as it turned out later it was again in Slovenska Plaza, and it was uncleaned! that is, everything was there as before.
The food for breakfast is not very varied, mainly eggs, pastries, sausages or sausages, there were also cheeses, sausages, vegetables, pickles and some fruit. Lunch and dinner were quite plentiful and varied; there was a lot of food, which was very pleasing. For breakfast, drinks could be coffee from a coffee machine, tea, or Jupi-type drinks. For me, it was very strange that the only drink available for lunch was water, and in the same way for dinner, nothing was offered except water, which was very strange, because it would have been nice to offer at least tea along with the cakes offered for dinner, but no, he wasn't there. We paid for breakfast and dinner; if we wanted, we could buy lunch for 12 euros or buy an All inclusive package for 18 euros, which would include the cost of lunch plus a bar, which by the way is not very varied.
The coffee in the cafe on site is absolutely lame or the staff doesn’t know how to prepare it; when I ordered a latte, they made me just an Americano with cold milk poured in. There is no animation at all, in principle, no aerobics of any kind or games, in principle, absolutely nothing. The contingent was mainly elderly people 60 or even 65 plus pensioners from Europe, there were maybe 1.5% of young people. The beach from the hotel is paid, the cost in September was 10 euros for two sun loungers and an umbrella, and in August they said that the cost was about 15 or 20 euros. It is impossible to buy one sun lounger if you come alone, you still need to buy two at once. The alternative was a wild beach nearby, just stones on which people laid towels and sunbathed on them, given the fact that Pebble Beach was not very comfortable and it was hot because umbrellas were not provided there.
The only plus for me in this whole vacation is the beautiful Adriatic Sea and, in principle, a fairly comfortable room, the only inconvenience of which was that it overlooked a nightclub; the music was blaring until 3 in the morning and it was extremely difficult to fall asleep. On the coast everything is expensive, food, drinks. Payment is only in euros. Montenegro does not have its own currency. Will I go back there again? Hardly. For that kind of money, it’s better to go to Turkey for a normal four or five and get a normal Service.

This year we decided to visit Budva. We drove 1.5 hours from the airport. . . terrible traffic jams.
We arrived at the Aleksandar Hotel at 15.00. They settled in right away. The room is very good 3220. Recently renovated. 3rd floor. Pool/sea view. Cleaning in the room is terrible, it consists in changing towels and making the bed (change of bed for the entire period 1 time), gel, shampoo are not added. Balcony for 13 days was not cleaned even once. The floor is full of hair, dust and dirt. The socks of the previous tenants were found under the bed in the room).
Food: tasty, a lot: fish, meat, soups, vegetables, sausages, cheeses, jamon, fruits, sweets) There is no variety, but if you don’t row everything at once, as our people like in one plate, meat, meat, a lot of meat , and from above, mussels, fish, and everything and more at once))) You can diversify. You won't be hungry. Drinks: morning coffee, tea, juice. Dinner: water. . . Nuance: in the morning to wait for scrambled eggs is a quest, the cook who fries is very slow, there is a queue, he can turn around and leave. . .
Internet throughout the hotel.
Sea: min 2 walk. Very narrow beaches. There are a lot of people.
Swimming pool: free sunbeds, available at any time. The pools are not deep, perfect for kids.
Children's room: quite good for Montenegro. But, be prepared that your child will not be accepted there. We chose the hotel with the criterion of a pool and a children's room. One day, the staff covered the buffet and closed the bar and the children's room for visitors, arguing that there was a children's birthday. . . Cap!! ! So maybe a restaurant can be rented out for a banquet, a swimming pool for a corporate party... let your tenants come the next day ???
In general, the hotel is quite good. But we will not fly a second time, especially to Budva. Very noisy, music from bars/restaurants yelling until 3 am. Dirty in the city. Masks, cigarette butts, and who the hell knows what are floating in the sea... There are a lot of people this year, traffic jams everywhere, queues. Only heads stick out in the sea.
In Petrovets I liked it much more, wide beaches, a quiet village. But they say this year there are also a lot of tourists...

Wi-fi is excellent in the room. My towels were changed every day. Since I arrived not yet in the holiday season, there were few people in the hotel and in Budva itself. They fed just fine: for breakfast, all kinds of cheeses, different types of prosciutto, sausages, vegetables, fruits, olives, omelettes, Montenegrin pies of various types, various sausages, eggs, scrambled eggs, cereals, muesli, yogurts; for dinner, different types of meat, cooked in different ways - both grilled and baked, seafood is simply gorgeous every day, salads, cold cuts; for breakfast and dinner prepared a variety of desserts. The staff is helpful, they understand English and Russian. I had a return transfer at 16.00 and they extended my room free of charge.
Montenegro itself is beautiful, I want to return to it. The people are friendly. And the Adriatic Sea is divine, despite the coolness of the water.

The hotel is good, the room is excellent, but there is almost always no one at the reception, no one understands anything in Russian. Towels were changed 2 times. Food in this hotel is not provided, if someone has it, then in a cafe nearby. There are a lot of cafes on the waterfront where you can eat, this is not a problem.

I will write what I remember more, settled in my memory after more than six months. Traveled with my husband. Arrived at the airport in Tivat. Small and poorly adapted to receive such a flow of tourists. We stood in the mass of people buried in the backs of each other's heads for almost half an hour after arrival.

Small and poorly adapted to receive such a flow of tourists. We stood in the mass of people buried in the backs of each other's heads for almost half an hour after arrival. They walked from the plane. Upon departure, the line again, through the entire tiny hall, some kind of laughter through clenched teeth. The hotel itself looks like a small village with the same houses and islands of shops and a pool between the streets. Sea water in the pool! We swam there once. The sea is nearby, but opposite the exit from the hotel the beach is so-so, uncomfortable pebbles. We found a decent place and a free stationary umbrella in one place (to the left of the beach, walk about 10 minutes, lucky. . . ) take bedding with you, this will give mobility in choosing a place on the beach and save decent money. Yaz Beach - drive from the hotel for 15-20 minutes by bus, stop two minutes from the hotel. A good beach, but the waves are bigger than in our place, where we constantly swam. I liked the restaurant Kuzhina, tasty and inexpensive. Portions are huge, one for two. . It's great that everyone everywhere understands Russian and the menu is everywhere in Russian. There is no language barrier, it’s not difficult in stores, they bought wine, pshut and so on, the prices are reasonable. I don’t understand why people go to Crimea when there is Montenegro with normal prices and clear sea (quite beautiful). Old fortresses - the cities of Budva and Kotor are generally beyond praise, such energy and color! In general, the hotel is normal, the food is good there, you can take it without lunch and easily eat in a cafe on the sea. We dined in Kuzhin and in other cafes. The room is clean, white walls and the room is so small. . . but enough space. There is a balcony. went out into the yard. We drank beer and wine on it. I don't remember the animation. There was something in a larger hotel near (we communicated by territories) Slavyanska Plaza, but we went there once and that's it. Did not impress. In general, we had a good rest, we are still going.

The hotel suited us very well. We did not sit in the hotel for a single day, we went on excursions almost daily. The room is nice, clean, simple, but everything worked. Cleaning every day. Walk to the beach 3-5 minutes, sunbeds, of course, paid. The Internet was, but only at the reception. Breakfasts are standard.

The hotel has a main building where the reception and standard rooms are located, as well as a separate villa "Aleksandar", located at some (small) distance from the reception and the restaurant. Rooms in the villa are a class higher and newer (after renovation). The hotel also has a small swimming pool and a gym, well, and all the extensive infrastructure of "Slovenska Plaza" is at the disposal of the guests of "Alexander". There are many cafes and shops near the hotel. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a TV and a hairdryer. Safe - at the reception for a fee (2 euros / day). You will also have to pay extra for Wi-Fi. "Alexander" is located close to the beach (municipal, sun loungers with umbrellas for a fee) and at some distance from Old Budva (about twenty minutes walk along the sea).
Standard rooms in the main building seemed a little "tired", requiring at least cosmetic repairs. The hotel is suitable for both unpretentious tourists (main building) and for people who pay increased attention to comfort (suites and junior suites in the villa). I think that "Alexander" can safely choose families with children - on the vast territory of the tourist complex they will have somewhere to roam. The only small minus is the lack of an elevator in the buildings. Luggage will have to be lifted and lowered down the stairs.
I wish you all a pleasant holiday!

The hotel is located in close proximity to Slovenska Plazh (municipal beach) and the main entertainment establishments there, from here there are some inconveniences - the noise from these same establishments. Plus, because of this proximity, as well as the All system, this hotel is loved by youth companies, which can also create "sound effects" that are not suitable for everyone.

Plus, because of this proximity, as well as the All system, this hotel is loved by youth companies, which can also create "sound effects" that are not suitable for everyone.
On the territory there is a Spa center, an outdoor pool with sea water (sunbeds and umbrellas for free), 2 restaurants, a bar, a pizzeria, shops. The housing stock is a three-story bungalow. Despite the proximity to the beach, you will have to pay for an umbrella and a sunbed, like everyone else who comes to enjoy the sea and the sun.
As I mentioned, the hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner - a buffet (please do not expect options familiar to many Turkey and Egypt) and local drinks, including beer and other alcohol.
There is also animation and a kids club.
Rooms with rather old shabby furniture, and, moreover, cardinally black, on which this "shuffling" is even more striking. In superiors, this blackness is diluted with red, a little more fun. The bathrooms are rather "Sovdepian" with damaged plumbing and a curtain in a peeling bathtub. True, despite the sad picture that I drew, the rooms have air conditioning, a telephone, a refrigerator, a TV, and four-bed apartments also have a kitchen. Everything looks pretty clean, despite the dilapidation.
A little about the beaches of Budva. I'll start with the distant Yaz, it is so called because it is located in the lovely and clean bay of Yaz (JAZ). From Budva it is easy to get there by taxi, only 5 Euros, so if a company of four, then it works out fine. The cost of sun loungers and umbrellas is 3 Euros per unit, but many sunbathe just like that on clean pebbles covered with a towel.
The water there is of excellent transparency, the bay itself is the most beautiful, and even protected from the wind, so you are guaranteed beach pleasure. The beach is quite well equipped, sunbeds and umbrellas are different, for every taste, there are cafes and bars.
Perhaps someone will be interested that in this bay, on the left side, if you look at the sea, behind the rock is one of the nudist beaches of Montenegro. Fans of this business understand what it is about, but I want to warn those who are just curious and looking for adventure - it is better for single girls not to meddle there. The fact is that one of the girls from our company, who decided to merge with nature and get complete relaxation on an almost empty beach, had an incident there, from which she could not recover for a long time.
It turns out that everything is simple - fans of relaxation "what mother gave birth to" perceive it all as the norm of life, but local guys think differently - a beautiful girl came to show herself, which means that we must also demonstrate everything. Thank God, everything ended well, but the girl suffered a lot of fear, especially considering that the beach is rather deserted. Please note that the proximity of this beach will in no way disturb the peace of the rest, most likely, the majority of vacationers will not even notice its presence.
I highly recommend going there, at least once on an excursion - this is one of the best beaches on the Budva Riviera.
Slovenska Plaž a beach. What to say? The beach is quite long, but in the season there are still people there, like herrings in a barrel - such a pleasure for an amateur.
It should be noted that this beach is equipped with good infrastructure - here you will find bars, and restaurants, and cafes, and snacks like "fast food", but of high quality, and even fishermen with the sale of their catch after 16.30 (closer to the Old Town). In some restaurants you can order the preparation of fresh seafood - 8 Euro per kilo, no matter what kind of living creatures you buy, moreover, this is with serving and service, I think this is a good price. On this beach there is a local open-air disco called "Trocadero" (not to be confused with a nightclub with the same name). There are also "changing rooms" - peculiar, look at the photo. Toilets are all paid, sun lounger + umbrella 10 Euro - bites. Then, there are a lot of water activities - also their own nuances, so be prepared.
Richard's Glava Beach is a small beach that literally squeezes into the Old Town on one side, and the rocks leading to Mogren Beach on the other.
On this beach there is a bar where you can take a beer and sit in sun loungers for free and use the toilet (but this is if you are lucky to take a suitable table). There is a pier there, but it is dilapidated or not yet repaired. The bottom is large pebbles, but large stones are regularly removed from the beach. This beach is used by vacationers from Avala. It offers a gorgeous view from the Citadel in the Old City.
Mogren Beach is perhaps the most famous of the local beaches. In fact, there are two of them - Mogren-1 and Mogren-2. A picturesque path along the cliff leads to them just from the beach of Richard's Head. There is also a bay, which consists of two parts, which designate two beaches. To the second Mogren, you will have to go through a wooden passage in the rock, and, at the initial stage, you will have to enter the water knee-deep, and maybe even higher.
But this does not stop the fans of this place and there are also enough people there, perhaps a little less than on the first beach, but in the season, I mean, it will be dense there. On the beach, everything is available for a comfortable stay - bars, showers, toilets. On the second beach there is even something similar to a restaurant, but in early June it was still closed there, so I can’t say for sure.
In general, I tried to talk about all the pros and cons of the hotel. Those who are not embarrassed by these very disadvantages, it is quite possible to opt for the Aleksandr Hotel, at the appropriate price.
