Baltic voyage
Lithuania was chosen as the sixteenth country for the trip. Fortunately, this is facilitated by the close geographical position of this Baltic state in relation to Ukraine. On the website of the international bus company Ecolines, tickets were purchased under a promotional offer, and after 12 hours of travel from Kyiv to Vilnius, we ended up in the capital of this European country.
On the Booking website, apartments were booked in the center of Vilnius within walking distance from the historical sights of the Lithuanian capital. The price of accommodation is 30 euros / day.
Vilnius is the city that two days is enough to get to know. All attractions are compact, close to each other. Nevertheless, it is worth visiting. Here you can admire both historical sites and architecture, and visit the underground "state within the state" Uzupis - a place where informal artists and different people of art live.
Prices are pleasantly surprised in Vilnius - they are quite affordable. Moreover, both in supermarkets and in cafes.
For those who like to travel by plane: the airport of the Lithuanian capital is located within the city, which makes it easier for tourists.
Vilnius with its sights can be the starting point for the Baltic tour.
