Super budget Vilnius
PREPARATION.
For a long time and tediously, the Ryanair low-cost airline tried to break into the Ukrainian aviation market. For a long time and tediously, our corrupt government, under various pretexts, denied him this. And only after receiving specific letters from the European Union, our beloved President reluctantly allowed this airline to operate flights from Ukraine to other countries. Before that, UIA (Ukraine International Airlines) felt like a hegemon, and had such a price tag for flights that it was not clear whether this was the price for an air ticket, or for renting the entire aircraft.
In November 2018, I was lazily scrolling through my Telegram subscription for tours and air tickets, and I came across an offer from Ryanair to fly to Vilnius for a weekend for 20 euros in both directions. After monitoring the situation, I was convinced that this is really a worthwhile proposal. Departure to Vilnius on 08.02. 19 (Friday) at 13.40, back on 10.02. 19 (Sunday) at 11.25. In this scenario, we got all-pro-everything Friday evening, Saturday, and coffee time on Sunday. We did not have passports with biometrics yet, but they had already been ordered from the TsNAP (Center for Administrative Services), and should be ready very well in advance of our departure. I decide to book tickets without the consent of my wife, so to speak, to surprise her. I carefully enter all the data in the Ryanair application on my phone, enter the card details, pay, and voila - the tickets are booked! Easy and simple, thanks to modern technology, everything can be done during a lunch break in the office!
Tickets are good, but you also need to live somewhere. I go through the options on Booking, many things do not impress until I find the Old Town Guest House, Trak? g. 7 - 23, Vilnius - Old Town, LT-01132 Vilnius, Lithuania. I liked the location - in the very center of old Vilnius, well, the price was also impressive - 20 euros per night, in my case 40 for two days. Reviews about the hostel were not bad, no one had serious complaints, in the end I booked it. We had a separate double room with a shared toilet and kitchen. Looking ahead, I’ll say that the room was “Spartan”: a bed, two chairs, a table, a mirror, a heater, a bedside table, and that’s all! The closet turned out to be an unaffordable luxury, there were two hooks on the wall that replaced it, there were only two sockets, but they put an extension cord for us so that we wouldn’t deny ourselves anything ; -))) The common shower cabin was spacious, the toilet had everything you need (however, on the second day of stay, a bottle of liquid soap disappeared without a trace), in the kitchen there was a small refrigerator, a boiler, a table, an incomprehensible cupboard with someone's things, a sink, spoons / forks / plates / knives and a microwave.
Then I just had to wait, from time to time "Booking" threw up vacation options in Vilnius with discounts, in the end I was tempted to visit the "Dessert Experience" Vokie? i? g. 11Vilnius 01130, Lithuania (the standard price for one handmade dessert and black coffee is 6.9 euros, I bought two tickets for 5 euros), and a visit to "Cocktail in Panoramic Skybar" Konstitucijos pr. 20, Vilnius 09308, Lithuania (an author's alcoholic cocktail in two copies, the standard price is 20 euros per ticket, in my case two tickets were bought for 10 euros each). In the first case, I planned an early coffee drink near our place of settlement, in the second case, an evening visit was planned. I decided not to buy anything else, so as not to narrow down the vacation options to a program strictly limited in time and route.
The jokes before the trip started did not start at all where expected. As I mentioned, I ordered tickets before receiving biometric passports. We have already received international passports twice, I knew the transliteration of our names and surnames, so I issued tickets strictly following the spelling in the old passport. And what a shock I had when, in my wife’s new crispy passport, I saw with undisguised surprise that she had transformed from a Ukrainian girl GANNA with the light hand of our passport office into an Israeli woman HANNA !! ! No, of course, I always knew about the Jewish roots of my wife, but then the whole truth was revealed in full! I would have cared very little if the tickets had not been booked in the name of GANNA. They began to sort through all the options, starting with the replacement of the passport, ending with the change of the name in the ordered ticket. They decided not to change the passport, it would be a shame if she received it again with this transliteration, and it was a pity to throw out $ 20, through the Ryanair application it was possible to change the letter, but this service cost only 129 euros !! ! The sadness is sad, there was a lot of information on the Internet, but I did not find the exact answer on how to do this (and whether it should be done). As a result, I went to technical support through the Ryanair website, 15 minutes of waiting, and I was in touch with the original Anglo-Saxon Muhammad ; -) Five minutes of correspondence, with screenshots of the old and new passports, and we are kindly and FREE OF CHARGE changed the first letter in the name of the passenger. Hooray, you can safely wait for the flight!
The next two months before departure went by smoothly, apart from slamming me with Ryanair special offers from the series:
- would you like to reserve a seat on the plane? We are ready to provide this service for a measly 4 euros for an uncomfortable seat, or 20 euros for a luxurious seat with plenty of legroom!
- would you like to pay extra for a suitcase weighing up to 10 kg. just 10 euros? And for a suitcase weighing up to 20 kg. we ask only 40 euros!
- does the sir want to get priority boarding for 6 euros?
- maybe you want to taste food on the longest one and a half hour flight?
I indignantly rejected all these tempting offers, as I planned to see how super economical it is to fly to Europe. Two days before departure, it was possible to check in for a flight, the program picked up good seats for us - Anyuta got a seat 11F (at the window), and I got 22D (in the aisle, there is room for legs). The program promptly offered to change seats for others with a surcharge, but it was sent for three characters ; -) You could check in for a flight at the airport at the counter, in principle, you didn’t have to do anything there, it cost nothing at all - 55 euros! I can imagine if at least a couple of people from the flight are so absent-minded, then Ryanair collects a good gesheft.
Booking did not lag behind either, offering me more and more leisure options, but with the same success.
We arrive at the airport, and immediately the board pleases us with the message that our flight is being rescheduled from 13.40 to 14.10. Okay, we’re walking, we’re waiting, everything would be fine, but while we were getting ready, we gave out the Central Office to our grandmother to look after the children and bought food home, we completely forgot to have a bite to eat ourselves. As a result, hunger took its toll, and we bought two hot dogs in the relegation area for $8. We sit further, the flight is postponed to 14.25, everything is delayed...
Our plane in Borispol
Finally, we are going to land, we have practically no things, so there is nothing to worry about. It can be seen that this is a low-cost airline, for the first time we fly out of Boryspil from the lower gates. We go downstairs, a crowd of people is standing at the exit, airline employees are checking tickets (I remind you that we don’t need to register), I expected that they would remeasure luggage for its compliance with transportation standards, but none of the airline staff bothered with this. We got to the plane by bus, and the people rushed to storm the plane. In order to occupy the shelves above the seats. I see no other reason for such an active desire to quickly get on the plane, but my wife and I lazily took pictures near the plane, examined it, and calmly entered the cabin as one of the last. There was just an active phase of the game "Exchange of Places" in the salon. Most of the passengers did not buy fixed seats, and tried to trade as close to each other as possible, persuading, asking for prayers, threatening that a small child would not survive without two parents nearby, etc. were used. Anyuta and I decided not to bother with this, to fly for 1 hour and 40 minutes, this is not much, you can sit separately. I stayed in my place, I didn’t have anything, I put my jacket in the upper luggage compartment, some insta bloggers were located nearby, who sent greetings and tsemki to everyone through a live broadcast. When everyone finally nested, and the plane began to taxi to take off, Anyuta sent me a message on Viber that there were not TWO FREE SEATS near. And this is in an almost completely filled plane! I unsubscribed to her that if no one appears near her after takeoff, then I come to visit. He waited for takeoff, made sure that the couple who were sitting next to his wife had disappeared somewhere without a trace, and moved to her. Considering that the seats in front of the cabin have more legroom, and that we had one chair free, we flew royally!
Upon arrival in Vilnius, we are one of the first to go to the control, it is a bit unusual that we do not have luggage and do not have to wait for it, so we hope for a quick passage through all the procedures. We defend in a small queue, the border guard came across to us like from jokes about the Baltic states - sleepy and unhurried. Taking my passport, he examined it for a long time, then asked me:
- Yes, here are the return tickets, here is the booking from Booking, what else do you need?
- No, nothing, come on…
Modern technologies do not seem to have reached Vilnius. I haven't seen such monitors for a long time. . .
It was even easier with my wife, seeing the same surnames, with a heavy sigh, he put a seal, and let us into the territory of Latvia. The airport in Vilnius (as expected) turned out to be tiny, there was only one exit, there was a bus stop right next to it. There is a board with the time of arrival of buses in the airport, I connected the Internet, I googled the route on the phone, taking into account public transport, bus number 88 was going to our hotel, which arrives at our stop (as the board informs) in 10 minutes. Great, we are warm, we wait, we leave in eight minutes, the bus arrives almost immediately, we go in, I buy two tickets for 1 euro from the driver, we sit down, we go. Only five stops, in time it took about 20 minutes, we leave, and using the navigator we move to our hotel, there was absolutely nothing to go, it was necessary to find a hostel, but...

On the bus, on the way to the hotel
SECRET HOSTEL OF THE VILNIUS UNDERGROUND
When I booked a room in the hostel, it was mentioned a couple of times that it was difficult to find, I did not attach any importance to this, hoping that we, as experienced travelers, would easily find it, but that was not the case. We found the right house easily, there was definitely no entrance to the hostel from the side of the street, I reviewed all the signs, burst into all the doors. Well, that means the entrance is somewhere in the courtyard, there were two entrances to the courtyards, both very scary (in the sense of unlit and with uneven asphalt), I went around them, carefully examined everything, nothing remotely resembling a hostel was found. In the courtyard I talked to a woman, she had never heard of any hostel "Old Town Guest House". Your division, it's not funny anymore!! ! The suspicion crept in that this was some kind of scam, but no, this hostel has a lot of reviews on Booking, and this is clearly not a phantom. I scratch my head, rummage through my smartphone, in the details of the hostel I find one single phone number, I dial it through “Viber”, the name Vitalijus Poplavskis is displayed, I wait with bated breath for an answer, and, hooray, they pick up the phone:
- Good afternoon, we booked a room with you, but we cannot find the Old Town Guest House hotel. Everyone has already bypassed, we need your help, can you go outside and pick us up?
- No, I'm far away, but I'll tell you how to find it. Do you see the orange sign "COFFEINE"?
- (I go out of the courtyard to the street, and indeed, I see such a sign) Yes, I see it.
- In front of it, if you walk from the museum, there is a turn into the courtyard.
- I see, they turned into the courtyard.
- So, now go to the end of the yard.
- It's easy to say, everything is dug up here, and there are cars, what do you mean by the words "end of the yard"?
- Well, you need to find a white plastic door with the number "23" above it.
- (I walk around the yard, and by the method of exceptions I still find such a door) Found what's next?
- Here, now look, to the right of the door there is a small iron box. There is a combination lock, dial the numbers 701 on it.
- (wife shines a flashlight, I dial the necessary numbers, the box opens) So, we opened it, what's next?
- What keys are hanging there?
- Well, there are keys with the numbers 1.2, 3, and two keys with the letter P.
- No, the last key to the parking lot, are you in a car?
- I see, then choose any key, and settle in a room with a number corresponding to the key.
- We take the key with the number 2, are you satisfied?
- Yes, take it.
- Thank you, we are moving in.
- All the best.
- And the same to you...
We take two keys on a bunch with the number 2, open the front door, close it behind us, and go inside. To be honest, this is the first time I'm checking in somewhere in the complete absence of anyone - there were no residents or staff in the hostel, we were completely alone! We go around all the rooms, Anyuta asks to change the room to another one, she liked the big bed there, and the view from the window. Ok, I call again at the same number, ask permission to change the number, they don’t mind, we change the key, and move in. In our room there was a large bed (as it turned out later, it was squeezed in one place), two chairs, a table, a bedside table (in which one Russian ruble and two euro cents were found), and a heater. There was no closet, its function was performed by two hooks and one hanger for clothes at the door. The walls were upholstered with the usual cheap plastic clapboard, the window was covered with blinds, which were lowered from the outside with the help of a cunning rope mechanism. Outside the room, they found a shower, a toilet (from which a new bottle of liquid soap disappeared without a trace on the second day) and a kitchen in which there were: an ugly electric stove, an ancient microwave, a boiler, a trash can, well, and little things, spoons / forks / plates and a huge dull knife.
EVENING WALK
We leave the backpack in the room and go for a walk around Vilnius. We did not set ourselves the goal of finding specific sights this evening, we just walked along the narrow streets, enjoyed a warm and pleasant evening (the air was about 5 degrees Celsius, without wind and precipitation). We passed countless coffee houses and cafes, past bars, and... bookstores. Yes, in Vilnius there are bookstores at every step, sometimes they are combined with cafes, sometimes with antique shops, in Kyiv this is not even close. Near some regular church, I saw a wooden swing, decided to swing on it, but she did not appreciate my impulse - the chain broke with a plaintive ringing, and I rattled to the ground with it. Scratching the padded side, we move away from this inhospitable place.
Ride, damn it. . .
In the process, we went to the IKIS supermarket, bought groceries, prices are slightly higher than in Ukraine, and wages in Vilnius are several times higher : -( Oranges are three times cheaper than a tomato (0.69 euros against 2), bananas - 0.95 , pears - 0.99, kiwi - 1.29, pastries from 0.39 to 1.5 euros per product. I killed cabbage juice on the spot, I have never seen such a perversion, I did not dare to take it, but I took myself “Gamtos fermented buttermilk with raspberries and linseed seed, ”it turned out to be a banal yogurt with seeds.
We ended the evening in a coffee shop, drinking latte and cappuccino with muffins and puffs. On average, one trip to a coffee shop cost us 5-8 euros. Dinner with coffee is somehow not very reasonable, but who said that you have to behave sensibly on vacation ; -)?
Whether they bought it or not. . .
In the morning we planned a visit to a coffee shop with handmade desserts. This place was not far from our place of residence, and in the morning we headed there.
Entrance to the cafe with handmade cakes
Ambiguous feelings remained from visiting this institution. When booking at Booking, the establishment is called "Dessert Experience", in reality the sign says "Sugamour". It's good that it's a small building and not hard to find, but why don't the managers responsible for selling e-tickets clearly state the name of where the tickets were bought. This is someone's jamb: either Booking, or establishments. When we entered this cafe, and I presented the printed tickets, this caused a slight shock among the staff. No one knew what to do with them, and what it was all about. They called the senior manager (a nice woman, I don’t remember her name), she also began to look at our printouts in bewilderment. I say:
- We bought electronic tickets to your establishment, for today, we paid for one dessert, and one black coffee, in duplicate.
Woman in shock:
- Are we selling e-tickets?
- Yes, we bought them!!!
- At Booking.
- I don’t understand, are we SELLING ELECTRONIC TICKETS TO OUR ESTABLISHMENT ON BOOKING???
- You know better, but I bought them, paid 10 euros, the money was taken from me, and I would like to use them.
- Uh-uh, I don't really understand how it works, but you pass, sit down, order, no money is needed.
- No, we don't need to do favors, we don't want to eat and drink on the ball, we've paid for everything!!!
- That's it, everything is paid for, come in and order!
Awesome desserts!!!
Awesome desserts!!!
In general, we sat down at a table, this situation really bothered my wife, she was embarrassed, she began to persuade me to pay for the order with a card, to which I categorically replied that I was not going to pay twice for desserts and coffee. The wife gave up and we made an order, I ordered something similar to an apricot, the wife was tempted by some kind of tartlet, plus a latte and cappuccino. Desserts and coffee were very tasty, service at a high level, there are no complaints at all. After everything has been eaten and drunk, I leave a two euro tip, and again I go up to the senior manager:
- Well, have you figured out our tickets?
She looks at me hauntedly, and I understand that she was not at all up to this problem, and she did not find out anything. The manager smiles sweetly:
- I did not learn anything, but as I said, money is not needed. - Well, thank you, it was very tasty, thank you, all the best.
Summing up: a chic establishment, very nice staff, but they could do with e-tickets. . .
After visiting the cafe, we walked around Vilnius, and decided to visit the Akropolis shopping center - this is the largest shopping center in Vilnius. My wife read that in February there are big discounts in shopping centers, and straight, straight, straight enticing prices. We order a taxi through the UBER application, and go to this entertainment and shopping center. It turned out that there was nothing to go, there were few cars, on the way the driver Rostislav from Ternopil entertained us with conversations about life, so the trip turned out to be combined with an educational excursion ; -)
We spent almost two hours walking around this mall, I will say right away that nothing interesting was found, ordinary stock stores, prices +/- Kiev, went to a coffee shop, sat, rested, called a taxi, and drove to the Gedemin tower.
WALKS IN VILNIUS
Then, without any specific plan, we walked around Vilnius, looked at the Gedemin Tower, went to the Museum of Lithuanian History, looked at the expositions, walked along some wide pedestrian street, again, went to the cafe with sweets "SOKOLADAS" (latte in this the institution turned out to consist of pure milk, with a homeopathic dose of coffee), we walked again, went to the church of St. Anne, where there were already three people besides us, wandered not far from it, it gradually got dark, and we began to move closer to the Radisson Blue hotel, where a visit to one of the best bars in Vilnius was planned. On the way we stopped at the H&M brand store. To my misfortune, it turned out to be a four-story building, which significantly increased the length of our stay there. For two hours we wandered around the store, my wife looked at everything, asked the price, in the end we took just small things and me a winter jacket for 26 euros. In general, with all these purchases, we went to the bar.
When we got to this Radisson Blue hotel, we got out of the taxi, however, Anyuta noticed another shopping center opposite, and dragged me there, arguing that it was still too early for the bar, but for now we can explore the EUROPA shopping center . Taki had to go, but we did not stay long in this shopping center due to the fact that it was deserted there, and Anyuta was not impressed with the filling with shops, as a result we crossed the road and ended up in a hotel.
We went to the reception, I asked how to get to the bar, they silently pointed me to the elevator. We go into the elevator, I immediately pay attention to a cup with coffee leftovers, which is lonely on a saucer in the corner of the cabin - someone finished their coffee, but they didn’t have the strength to carry the dirty dishes, and they just left them in the corner of the elevator. Yes, we also have uncivilized people, but here they mostly shit in the elevator, and here they just left dirty dishes ; -)
Coffee in the elevator, on the way to the bar
On the last, 23rd floor, we left our clothes and bags in the cloakroom, and went into the hall. We went to the bar, went to the counter, showed the e-ticket to the bartender, he calls one of the elders. The steward comes up, glances at our tickets, and offers to take a table.
I look around, I see a table on a raised platform near the window, I joyfully run there and occupy it. The wife sits down next to him and admires the gorgeous views from the panoramic window. The waitress instantly appears and asks:
- Have you booked a table?
- (I (with a proud and impregnable look) immediately answer confidently) Yes, of course, we have e-tickets!
Cocktail at the bar
The girl nods and disappears. We sit and crush the rice chips that were brought to us as a welcome. After a couple of minutes, a guy comes up, scans my tickets from my phone, waits, gets confirmation, and offers to order two cocktails out of three possible for us. My wife and I randomly choose the first two that come across. Ten minutes of waiting, and they bring us two glasses with an orange liquid, and... two syringes with a brown liquid. It was "Lost in Translation" (dry London gin, Choya Umeshu plum liqueur, dry Chaoya sake, tea syrup and lime juice). The waitress explains to us that literally our cocktail is called “Influenza shot”, and in syringes of whiskey, which must be squeezed into a glass on our own. Ok, Anyuta didn’t squeeze anything out for herself at all (she doesn’t like strong cocktails), but I squeezed everything out for myself. All the time we were at the bar, I pestered Anyuta with requests to take photos corresponding to my status - either I sit with a businesslike look with one glass, then I detachedly admire the panorama of the city with another glass, then I casually sip a cocktail, arrogantly looking down, in the end, my wife got sick of it, and they returned the phone to me with the words: “You need it, you take a selfie !!! ” ; -)
Desperately I try to take a relaxed pose, trying with all my appearance to show that I have such visits gray routine and routine ; -)
We are sitting, drinking, admiring the panorama of the city, and then I notice a sign on the table: "Reserved". Damn, so we took someone's reserved table, and also told the waitress that it was booked for us!! ! It turned out awkward, but we are already sitting, they will drive us away, they will drive us away, we will already defend our place to the end! We drank cocktails, I ask the waitress to bring other ordered cocktails, and one without ice. The girl leaves, after a while brings cocktails, both with ice. I was tempted to go stick for ignoring my request, but my wife was categorically against it, she did not want to spoil the romantic evening. This cocktail was more pleasant in taste, savored with pleasure. An hour and a half or two passed from the moment of our arrival, we got warm, drank alcohol, and wanted to eat normally, and the bar menu was only snacks and drinks. Just a couple dressed up in dolci and habannas came up and began to look sadly at our table, standing at the central column. The hostess explained something to them, glancing nervously in our direction, and we, with a relatively clear conscience, decided to take our leave and move on.
I leave two euros for a tip, take things from the wardrobe, call a taxi, and set off in search of food in our area.
The savings when buying e-tickets turned out to be quite noticeable, if we had paid for cocktails on the spot, it would have cost us 44 euros, but it turned out to be only 20 euros.
SUPERMARKETS ARE OUR "ALL"!
We arrived by taxi to our hostel (the taxi turned out to be a brand new BMW 5 series, fare 3.5 euros, a ball), we go to a pizzeria. We are waiting for a sleepy waiter for a long time, leafing through the menu, two pizzas will cost us 18-20 euros, we estimate that for this money we will buy a lot of food in the supermarket, give the menu, and stomp into the already familiar IKIS, where we take that 21 euros juices, jamon, sweets and fruits. We have dinner, and immediately fall asleep.
VILNIUS, FAREWELL!
We had a plane at 12.30, so we didn't take too long with breakfast. We had a bite to eat, packed our things, took out the garbage and left our hostel. I sent a message via Viber to the owners that we had moved out, and the keys were in an iron box at the entrance. Nobody replied to me, although the message was read, but oh well.
We walked along the street, reached the nearest coffee shop, which we had not yet been to. The sleepy girl at the sight of us made a heroic attempt to wake up, but then decided not to strain, and made us coffee in an energy-saving mode, which was expressed in the fact that she perceived all requests (type of coffee, quantity and taste of macaroons) only from the second or third time. However, she still made us delicious coffee, and was able to get reciprocity from the terminal so that I could pay with a card. By the way, the terminal was also in nirvana, since the money for this breakfast was withdrawn from me only after THREE days. And it was so cool: you are sitting in your office, and then bam - you receive a message that you have just paid off in Vilnius in the cafeteria! I was stunned then, I already wanted to block the card, but reviewed the transactions, and figured out (by the amount and the address of the coffee shop) that everything was fine, and it just withdrew the money belatedly.
Using the cafe's Wi-Fi, we ordered a taxi to the airport, indicating the point right next to the exit from the cafe. I have noticed more than once that UBER's declared price does not match the actual one. In our case, the program issued an estimated price of 4.6 euros, and upon arrival it took only 3.55. We were driven by a talkative Uzbek who talked all the way about which countries he visited (as a taxi driver) and where he plans to work.
At the airport itself, I was confused by the check-in system. First we went through passport control, then border control, a Duty Free hall (where we skimped a little on alcohol), after which we were again waiting for... passport control, which preceded boarding the flight. This is the first time I see this, but maybe these are some features of the Vilnius airport. Then we lined up at the airline counter, where we waited for a long time to check in for the flight. The check-in itself began with an important man in a Ryanair uniform coming in, critically examining the large crowd, and waving his hand, he signaled the flight check-in. The girl walked along the row, clarified who had tickets with priority boarding, took them with her, and spent them first. Again, no one checked the luggage, they only glanced at my backpack, but did not say anything. Through long corridors, my wife and I reached the closed door leading to the airfield, near which there was already a crowd, in which all passengers, both priority and ordinary, were already mixed up. The funny thing is that when the door was opened, people merrily rushed to the plane's ladders, and as a result, those who ran faster, and did not pay extra for priority ; -)
MIRACLES IN A PLANE.
We had diametrically opposed seats in the cabin - Anyuta had 12E, and I had 26B, so I didn’t really count on a miracle, in the form of placement next to me. But, my wife messed up something, and IT STARTED!
I calmly sit down in the chair 26B, on the left is a girl, on the right is an empty place, calmly take out my phone, and start looking through the pictures. A woman comes up and tearfully asks me to move to a seat... 11C, because her husband's place is there, and they want to sit next to me. It's cool, already closer to my wife, of course I agree, I take a picture of her husband's ticket, and I walk to the 11th row. Passing by place 12E (where Anyuta is sitting), I catch her puzzled look. He speaks difficult, because the cabin is noisy, and people are scurrying around everywhere.
I sit down in seat 11C, turn my head back, look at my wife, but I don’t even have time to say anything when the man sitting next to Anyuta jumps up from his seat and plaintively asks to change places with him, because... his wife sees him in seat 11B !! ! No, well, in general, without doing anything, without asking anyone about anything, I automatically moved to the next seat to my wife !! ! Miracles, and more!
We did not wash this event, but we unpacked the chocolate bar ; -)
Flew back quickly, and without incident. By the way, Ryanair pilots took off almost vertically, both there and back, perhaps this was due to the fact that the flight was short, and they tried to gain the desired height as quickly as possible in order to reduce fuel consumption.
We met Kyiv with frosty and gloomy weather, the border guards were polite, worked quickly, as a result, we ended up at the taxi stand 30 minutes after landing. One last look at the terminal, and we say goodbye to Boryspil airport until the next trip, wherever it may be...
