You can eat there everywhere, of course, observing elementary precautions. I would advise you to take all inclusive because it will be cheaper if you are a food and drink lover. Alcohol is expensive to buy, you have to go to a special alcohol store or buy in a dutik. There are a couple of cafes nearby, but the hotel is not located in the city in our understanding, and in the evening it is not always convenient to get there.

Just returned from Sri Lanka and stayed at this hotel. I advise you to take all, since the overpayment is small, and there are a lot of amenities. Outside the territory there is practically nowhere to eat, except for Lelik. If you go to the city, you can only buy a snack in a supermarket. In shops and cafes everything is very peppery. When asked if there are many spices, the locals smile and say no. In fact, they are not - our fire-breathing dragon. And in the hotel you can always find food to your taste. If you buy dinners and lunches in a restaurant on your own, they cost like a wing from an airplane (2900 rupees for one (29 dollars)) Plus, if you choose all-inclusive, you will get good alcohol (especially tasty beer). For ten days we drank and ate much more than we paid.

We dined at Lelik's all week. Steak (shark, tuna, swordfish) - 800 rupees. The portion includes a large piece of fish, rice, cucumbers, tomatoes. Soup (shark, chicken, vegetable) - 350 rupees. Cocktail (seafood, shrimp) - 400 rupees. Arak 50g-200 rupees. Arak cocktail + mango juice - 400 rupees. Beer 630g-320 rupees. Butter and bread are free and unlimited. The food is delicious, served quickly with a wrap. 3000 rupees is enough for two, unless of course you order the entire list of dishes at once. When choosing Sri Lankan spaghetti, take one serving for two.
