Advantages - all rooms with sea and sunset views!!! , spacious, with a terrace/balcony; a cozy area with a palm grove and an abundance of pools (both for decor and for swimming). Attentive staff, without harassment of tips (although, like everywhere in Lanka, they are accepted with gratitude : ) Nice beach, with a smooth descent into the water, but the ocean is stormy - so beginners can’t swim, but advanced ones - in the morning or in the evening quite capable. . .
The cuisine in the main restaurant fully met different tastes: both those who put up with hot curry and those who were looking for European standards - the choice of dishes is quite diverse. Good pastries and desserts. Not enough seafood for those who are looking for them in abundance : ( It was possible to compensate for the lack when ordering in a terrace restaurant at lunch - the price of pleasure for a basket / dish of seafood platter is about $ 30, a lot, but a portion for 2.

From inventions and entertainment - sparsely: aerobics and polo in the pool, fitness and yoga in the hall; there are 2 courts; SPA center (on average, the procedure is from $ 25). In the evening - live music on the terrace in the style of the 80s, good vocals... And that's all...
There were card games, wine sipping, snooker or chess games. . .
The hotel is good for companies where they know how to occupy themselves; families with children - safe, comfortable; for those who expect to relax without fuss, and get out to Colombo and the surrounding area on excursions.
It is somewhat noisy on the days when Sri Lankans celebrate the wedding in the hotel - a lot of smart people at the restaurant, in the lobby...
For some it's kind of exotic, for others it's tiring.
