Based on my subjective experience, I would recommend a part from Thailand or Vietnam. Local cuisine there is specific, but very cheap. I don't know how much you will like it after eating in Europe and the Middle East. I don’t like local food in Southeast Asia, I take either just seafood / grilled fish without any seasonings, or I’m looking for restaurants with European food (much more expensive than traditional ones).
