We traveled to all the most interesting places in Sri Lanka - the ancient capitals of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, on the way we saw an elephant walking in the wild and fed the monkeys, climbed Mount Sigiriya (ancient city-fortress) from where breathtaking views of the entire island open, visited the Golden Temple in Dambule, the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical Garden in Kandy, 2 nights were in the original ethno-hotel in nature, then we went to the mountainous part of Sri Lanka to tea plantations, visited a free tour at a tea factory and drank freshly made tea, admired the gorgeous views on tea plantations and numerous waterfalls in the mountainous part of Sri Lanka, felt the English spirit of Nuwara Eliya. We spent the night in Pinavella (elephant nursery) where in the morning we fed and bathed real elephants in the river.
