I agree, but as a rule, before such trips, they usually monitor everything, and as a rule, they have already decided for themselves what they want to see. Moreover, the calculation is after the excursions, and if you give a tip (100-300) rupees, the next day the whole taxi team will know you, and this helped us a lot in the future. And given that it is already dark at 18.30, all trips for the evening cannot do without taxi drivers!

Maybe this is a way for independent tourists to “establish themselves” as experts in a country that I consider mysterious, rich in impressions and still little mastered after 10 years of work.
A huge layer of knowledge about the island, its history and culture, dozens of legends remain out of sight of tourists.
