There are a lot of hotels there, you can arrange it yourself, but it's hard to find a pleasant environment with high service and "a pleasant smell in the room." Comparing prices, we didn’t feel the cheating of the travel agency at all, because we found out the prices of tickets, for two from Donetsk to Colombo and back 1100 dollars. We found a receipt at the hotel: 800 dollars for two with breakfast and dinner for 10 days. And we paid the agency $ 1,715 for two, this also included transfer and insurance. So think about whether it’s worth the risk and spending time and energy searching, especially in December there will be a peak season, or you’ll already come ready. Our hotel was called Citrus in Hikkaduwa, we liked the service and food, the beaches around are deserted - beauty. They also walked deep into the village on foot, where the jungle began, looked at monitor lizards, wild monkeys, strange birds. So it's up to you.
