We were in Sri Lanka for the first time. I really liked everything. Hotel on the first shore line, only the road separated us from the ocean. They had a room on the third floor overlooking the ocean. The hotel is new and recently opened (rented in 2018). It has 4 floors and about 20 rooms. The room we got was 12 square meters.

The hotel is new and recently opened (rented in 2018). It has 4 floors and about 20 rooms. The room we got was 12 square meters. and how for Asia it looked quite decent. The room had everything you need (air conditioning, safe, hair dryer, kettle, refrigerator…) There is no closet for speeches, but it is the norm in this region.
To the nearest beach (reef) about 800 meters, to the nearest supermarket 500 meters, fruit and fish market - 600 meters, Sunday market - 400 meters. Central city beach - 1300 meters.
Meals at the hotel took only breakfast. Breakfast is standard (eggs in all variants, fruit, toast, oil, jam and tea / coffee), monotonous but delicious.
The hotel has an excellent chef who has prepared excellent dishes from the restaurant menu and a la carte dishes. We highly recommend tasting their dish of fish "potuboru" (unfortunately we could not find out in more detail what kind of fish it is, and google did not help us much? ). But a big THANK YOU to the chef! ! ! !!
The biggest advantage of the hotel is the staff! Everyone was very polite and gentle, paying maximum attention to any food. We organized great evenings on the side terrace where all the products very well "came" to the noise and surf of the ocean. Maybe we were lucky, because it was not the season and we were the only guests in the hotel in some periods, but for the attention and kindness we like.

Conditioner $5 per day, isn't it fat? 4. Beetles and insects 5. A flea-ridden puppy that howls at night. 6. Near the railway.
