Room cleaning is only at your request, just like that no one will clean and change the linen, even if you leave the key to the room. The janitor/gardener sweeps every day, I hardly saw any cleaning in the hotel. Towel - one bath per person, in other hotels as well.
Liked: Decent condition of the hotel, the presence of TV, air conditioning, ceiling fan in good condition, the presence of WiFi, hot water without interruption
Disliked: Far from shops, restaurants, beach (40 minutes on foot or by tuk-tuk for 150-300 rupees. 150 rupees is if you walk 5-10 minutes from the hotel from the jungle to the intersection where these tuk-tuks go). In the vicinity of the hotel, the silence is complete, only mosquitoes and birds sing and ants trample. At night, the road to the hotel is dim, but you can see the direction and it’s completely safe to walk, having overcome one lift 10 meters high.
The first impression is shock, then you get used to it, then you like it. I like it especially after looking at other hotels of this price category on the ocean in Hikaduwa in order to move there. Everything is relative!
