We rested at the Lighthouse Hotel in March 2010, we liked it, because to a truly corner of calm and comfort, we were ready for a relaxing holiday, we traveled as two married couples. the hotel can be safely called an eco-hotel because of natural finishing materials. Everything is in the rooms to the smallest detail, mahogany furniture, spacious rooms, a separate compartment for a bath, shower, toilet and wardrobe, a balcony overlooking the ocean, and ecologically delicious and natural food, you will not smell the shrimp, lobsters and surprisingly delicious food is cooked on lunch and dinner. no one will entertain you, but nature and climate are conducive to contemplation and peace. We went to the spa in this hotel, ordered a scrub and massage, pretty good. Chipmunks run around on the territory, we saw a monkey near the restaurant, and the same monitor lizard that walked peacefully around the pool. So great! The only negative is the difficult road to the hotel from the airport, 4 hours in an air-conditioned minibus can be sustained, but the driving style of local drivers is very annoying, you are always on the alert - left-hand traffic and almost all the time in the opposite direction. I also want to add a good souvenir shop in the hotel itself, in all of Galle we did not see such a choice and quality, the city is nearby if you want to buy something or go to another beach near the hotel, you can arrange with a minibus or tuk-tuk.
