If we are talking about Beruwala, then both in Beruwala and in the neighboring rather busy town of Aluthgama (before Bentota) there are pharmacies and shops where there is a "children's" group of goods, incl. diapers, dry mixes, etc.
Another thing is that their choice is not as great as in Europe, but you will certainly find the main brands.

Sea Rock Villa in Indurów recommended here by odich777 seems to me to be not the most attractive for a holiday with a baby: the mini-hotel was commissioned not so long ago and does not yet have the proper infrastructure.
Although, maybe it is good as an economical option for independent travelers.
With a child, it’s definitely worth considering the coast of Beruwala, Beruwala or the south (if the baby endures long journeys), because the indicated resorts (BRV and BNT) are at least 2.5 hours away from the airport, to the southern resorts (for example, my favorite Galle and Weligama) and even more.

About accommodation - we have already paid for the Tropical Villas hotel in Beruwala, so this issue has been resolved :) But, I hope, I will be able to travel a little around the island and look after the beach for next year
