Just returned from this wonderful hotel :) Impressions - only positive. Staff - such a positive attitude is not seen in Montenegro, Croatia, Italy (modestly silent about the Crimea). The place is just a bomb, for one and a half kilometers of the beach there are 20 vacationers and fishermen, the locals are very friendly, the complete absence of annoying people who are trying to sell you something. The hotel is a separate respect to Roy (the owner of the hotel) who built it, the rooms are simple, but nothing more is needed. Due to the comfortable air temperature, the air conditioner is not particularly needed, a fan is enough. TV is not needed at all. Entertainment - the owner organizes kebabs + excursions for every taste, but nothing is imposed, if you want to go somewhere yourself - they will explain everything to you and help you to the maximum for free. In general: I advise you to go to those who do not like places with a bunch of touts - stuck, and who wants to live in a comfortable (home) environment. By the way, you don't notice the train after the first night :). And yet - when choosing this hotel, understand that the main cost of the tour is a ticket + profit tour. agencies, and for the money that goes to the owner you will get 200% of emotions.

Moreover, when compared with other hotels on the coast, the prices are cheaper by half or even more. The dirty ocean is you in vain, the ocean is not dirty at all, but simply not transparent, which is obviously the result of yellow sand, which, unlike white sand, does not reflect the sun's rays. And if you suddenly meant the beaches of Hikaduwi, then you'll excuse me, but there are 2 meters of sand and corals. Who wants to stomp their feet on the corals and there you go. If you want to spend a pleasant time in Sri Lanka in quite and noiseless place on a beautiful Indian Oceans coast for a really affordable price Roy Villa Beach hotel is exactly for you! Nice rooms, tasty national cuisine, very friendly stuff and of course beautiful beach surrounded with hundreds of palm threes that’s what you get staying there. Peaceful and quite in the morning and a little bit heavy afternoon Ocean is the best thing you need in Sri Lanka. You can just take a chaise-longue order some coconut or fresh pineapple, papaya or banana juice and enjoy it whole day long! By the way they have a pool too.
But Roy Villa Beach Hotel offers also excursions to the heart of the county. Incredible Dambulla, Sigiriya, Candy were waiting for us for a really reasonable price! Three-day trip was just amazing!
The only lack of the hotel is remoteness from the stores and markets but it’s not a big problem: you can order breakfast, lunch and dinner in a restaurant for a really cheap price.
