If your choice is the west or south coast. then you have to go to Unawatuna. You can swim here all year round. There are no waves like in Bentota and the water is not muddy because there are no rivers.

Or to the south (Unawatuna, Dikwella). It's nice there in the summer and there aren't too many people. in other places there will be strong waves in the ocean.
