Have been in Benotta since October 20 last year. It rained in the afternoon throughout Sh-Lanka while we went on a sightseeing tour. The rain was daily from 15-16 hours until the evening and in Bentotta. But in the morning the sun was shining. It didn't stop us from having a great time there. True, it was stormy and swimming in the ocean as in Thailand is simply not possible. But in Bentotta there is a shallow place on the beach where children dangled freely.
