Where to buy silver jewelry with stones
Dear travelers!
We are leaving Thailand for a 2 day tour of Cambodia. We were ordered a gift: a silver item (any one you like, most likely a bracelet) with "sapphires" or "rubies". We understand that most of the products on the "tourist trails" are fakes for natural stones, and therefore we want to find out if there are places where they do not try to pass off artificial stones as real ones and do not ask for huge amounts of fakes (naturally, we will bargain). Can you tell me the names of these shops or markets.
If it’s not difficult, write, please, are they brought to such places with a tour or do you need to go looking for yourself?
Thanks for the help!

Before staying at a hotel in Cambodia, we were taken to a jewelry store, but we didn’t need anything there, but we didn’t like the tour itself, we regretted the spent days and money, it was very tiring.

It is good to buy silver with sapphires in Thailand itself, in jewelry stores. Prices are low, but you need to carefully look at the stones, a lot of culling. Use a magnifying glass and a lamp - the stone may be cracked, cloudy, crooked under the frame. There are very interesting products made of multi-colored sapphires - yellow and pink. If the product contains gold, diamonds, emeralds, then the prices are immediately high, the same as ours, there is no point in buying there. I also like their silver with aquamarine and topaz. I have not seen Rudins in silver.
But to be honest, don't expect anything special.
I have not been to Cambodia yet, but all my friends who have been there continue to buy jewelry in Thailand. In Cambodia, you need to "know the places", they sell a lot of glass under the guise of precious stones. And visiting Ankog Wat is my dream :) I will definitely go there!

Sapphires, rubies are precious stones, so they are more likely to be found in gold. In silver, garnet and topaz are more common.
(after all, you won't find what you need in Cambodia - buy it in Thailand, but you can say whatever you want ;)
