As I understand it, you are talking about Aqaba and about hotels on the Red Sea. There are really few of them, the entire coastline of Jordan is 24 km, most of them were allocated for private villas. The beginning of September in Jordan is a hot time. Excursion .. Well, that's Petra and the Dead Sea, that's all. Will it be hot to drive? taste and color as they say. I stayed in Lebanon for 2 months until mid-July and felt quite comfortable. did not feel the heat. I'm generally cold in life and the hotter the better

Israel and Jordan are completely different conditions. Israel is an eternal conflict, people go there for various reasons, knowing that something can happen at any moment .... (you know what). Jordan is a monarchy, takes neutrality with all surrounding countries. Like Switzerland in Europe. A few more comments: I lived in Movenpick and in Aqaba (it has its own beach), and in Petra and Nabatee, and on Mert. sea - all excellent, I recommend.

We rested in Aqaba, 5-star. Intercontinental. Read my review. In 3-4 stars, you can safely travel to Europe, in my opinion, but in the East ... I don’t know, I wouldn’t risk it

we went to Petra by taxi, it's cheaper - the taxi driver took us there and brought us back when we needed to. I don't remember the exact travel time, about 1.5-2 hours. you should definitely go to Petra, the impression is unforgettable. and the official tour operator asked for some unrealistic price for the trip.
