A visa will be opened at the airport for 2 weeks to anyone. But you need a host (address, telephone to whom you are going to) and a meeting at the airport. Iran is better not to travel alone, but not because of "dangers", but simply you need to know Persian, English is almost not spoken here. There is no special acclimatization here, the weather is almost like in Crimea.
