Hello! We rested twice at the Siesta de GOA hotel in the south of GOA. Here, on January 25, we fly for the third time. Recommend. If you have any questions, write to: [email protected] or 0632177462. Anya. :)

In India, wherever you go, everywhere is interesting. And here, how many people, so many opinions. We liked Mandrem. We rented a villa on the beach, cooked for ourselves, rented a motorcycle and went wherever we wanted.

Now I’ll see what they write about the hotel itself ... Yes, and I’ll look at the pictures ...

Yes, in any exotic country it is interesting. But go to cook your own food? Nooooo! Only their chefs! :)

Going to Asia and not having a clue where - it's strong.

I returned from North Goa in December. I recommend Morjim Hermitage 2*. The cottages are right by the sea. As they say from the room in a bathing suit and in the sea. Price - quality for 2 * is very high

It can be assumed that you are going to go to Goa, as this is the most promoted resort. There is also Kerala. If in Goa, then in this state there are two parts: northern Goa and southern Goa. Search and see the map. South Goa is calmer, less hyped, there are much fewer people than in the north. From there it is convenient to go on an excursion to Karnataka. The northern one is noisier, more party-going. There are parties, fairs and the like. There are a lot of people, but here it is more fun. So do not ask anyone for advice, but simply collect information and determine your preferences.

Were in 2013 here - Sterling Holidays Villagio.

I liked it very much. To the sea - 300-400 meters. Tours are offered by local taxi drivers. It is necessary to bargain and immediately negotiate the conditions (payment is only expensive or not, entrance tickets are included in the price or you pay yourself, etc.). The hotel is located in the district of Betalbatim. The beach is big and clean.

India is not Turkey, where is all-inclusive. This is mostly breakfast. For breakfast, an omelette, a sandwich, a spoonful of jam. And why is it so difficult to make an omelet in the morning and spread butter on bread? You can order home delivery. We did that sometimes. They brought us the menu. Look at the photo. Even borscht. And if we went somewhere we dined in a cafe. But so much more expensive. And the spices in the dishes are not to everyone's taste. Especially the pepper...

life-ok, what's so strange about that? Gathered in India, but do not know where it will be better! What resort, what hotel, etc. Pretty normal question I guess...

In India, some Europeans and ours spend the winter. Parents of pensioners with grandchildren are sent for the whole winter. And their apartment is for rent. And for the money from renting out their apartment they live in a resort in Goa. They cook for themselves. Children should be fed normal food, not rice and pepper. As they arrived in October, they live there until April. I met them there.
аватар life-ok
for you it is "normal", because you did not bother to read at least a drop of information about India. This is not Greece or Egypt for you - the main thing is to choose a hotel and sit in the pool for days. Read the forums, the same Hindustan.ru to understand where you are going, you may not want to after realizing)))
аватар life-ok
and yes, there are no "resorts" in India)))) There is South GOA with elderly Germans and British, and there is North GOA - with stoned and drunken representatives of post-Soviet countries.
аватар Vic-Grin
Yes, there are a lot of post-Soviet idiots who pretend to be yogis ...

life-ok, let's no longer discuss with you about the question I asked?! You, as I understand it, want to insult or humiliate, instead of just answering or sharing your impressions .... Please, not with me ... Yes, the first thing I wrote was here, knowing that there are people who willingly share the information I need. And only then I began to read, leaf through, study, browse ... And this is my right. Thank you personally for the information provided and the acquired reluctance to write here. Sorry for disturbing you, they could just not answer the question that enraged you .... .

I'll add some information to what I wrote above. I traveled almost all the beaches of northern Goa, perhaps except for Mandrem and the northernmost, it seems to be called Keri. There are very beautiful beaches (for example, Vagator), it is interesting in Arambol to go to a large banyan tree and sit and think about the eternal with a local priest. But for the stay, I liked Candolim the most. I explain - two supermarkets, where, if desired, you can pay with a card. It’s easier to exchange currency here, they didn’t try to deceive me here, and last season in Calangute they deceived me every time, you poke your finger, then he will add a couple of hundred that he wanted to pinch. The length of the common beach - Candolim-Calangute-Baga kilometers 15 sand, you can choose a place. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I’ll hit the road to Mandrem, see what kind of beach, if they praise it like that

AlexP45, thanks for the information

So you want to get a short answer here when people have been debating about the beaches of Goa for years? )) By the way, even here there are hundreds of similar topics on the turpravda, every day the question “oh, I bought a ticket to Goa, where to go?” comes to the post office, you didn’t even bother to read them and you want absolutely strangers with strange interests to advise you something. Here is the same Alex, the main thing for him is a supermarket and a Schaub card. He has not yet reached the most beautiful and deserted beaches of Ashvem, Keri and Paradise. Calangute and Baga are a bunch of local hucksters and drunken baggers. You would have known all this without Alex's advice, having spent an hour reading some forum.
аватар oksanka.oksana
No! I don’t want anything from you! All the best to you, life-ok! Life is good)))))))
аватар oksanka.oksana
And people, nevertheless, give a lot of good and useful advice. And, using them, we traveled beautifully)
аватар AlexP45
Personally for life-ok. I, dear lady, walked from Fort Aguada to Vagator, from Morjim to Ashvem. I wish you to be able to do such walks in your eighth decade. (Alex45 is the year of birth). I do not like to give advice to anyone, but I will make an exception for you, think before you write anything in the forums with your comments, very often they smell of arrogance.
аватар life-ok
Exactly. Because people read the forums, and do not ask the local tagil which hotel is better. If you didn't understand after Tai that the hotel has no value in Asia and Indonesia.
аватар life-ok
From Morjim to Ashvem??? Seriously?? )) along the beach WOW

Advise, please, resort, hotel, interesting places in India?! The question is right? Or do you still need advice on the State of Goa ?! Interesting places in INDIA: Golden Triangle: Delhi, Jaipur, Agra. A very beautiful fort in Gwalior. Fabulous places in Rajasthan: the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer, lost near the border with Pakistan, sophisticated Udaipur with its lakes and palaces, the grandeur of Kumbalgarh, the splendor and poverty of Mumbai, the Jain Temple in Ranakpur, the caves of Ellora and Ajanta ... the channels of Kerala, Madurai, Kanyakumari. ..I'm even at a loss how to tell you which of all this is the most interesting and bewitching! However, all these places are located quite far from the tourist State of Goa. Such trips are not for a week, not for two, and even not for a month. It's like, for example, you decided to see interesting places in Russia.
