In Goa, choose not a hotel, but a beach! Calangute is the filthiest of all the beaches of North Goa, dirty and full of Indians from different states of India. Although, if you intend to take a scooter and ride on different beaches (and you should rest in Goa!), then what difference does it make where the hotel is located? :) For my part, I can recommend the La Vaiencia Beach Resort in Morjim, we liked the hotel too , and the beach. A hotel away from the noisy road, Morjim Beach is one of the best in North Goa. In general, the best beaches behind the Siolim Bridge: Morjim, Ashvem, Mandrem, Arambol and Kerim - beauty and relaxation!
