Specify, pzhl, in which city you are going to rest. I was in almost all cities of Israel, I can tell you.

To be honest, we are going to Israel for the first time, so it’s hard to say which city. At first they thought in Eilite, but then they read that it was far away and any excursion would take a lot of time on the road. Israel has a lot to see. And the child will not survive the long journey.

If you are counting on excursions, then it is better for you to relax in Tel Aviv or Netanya, from there all the most common excursions are closer - the Dead Sea and Jerusalem (respectively, and cheaper), but the weather there is colder than in Eilat. We met the New Year 2011 in Eilat, the weather was good, we swam, even in March last year in Tel Aviv the weather was much colder. The swimming season was opened in Tel Aviv only in mid-April (and even then it was cold for the Israelis to swim). In Eilat, there are various entertainments for children, for example, King City with attractions. You decide. As for hotels. If this is Eilat, I advise Royal tulip, Golden Tulip. Good hotels worthy of their 4 stars. Price-quality match. If this is Tel Aviv, then I can recommend hotels: Leonardo, Marina. But Tel Aviv (despite the fact that I lived there and love it very much) is not designed for children, this is my opinion. In the city itself, there is little entertainment for children, unlike Eilat. Have a nice holiday!!!

I support Mary-V regarding Tel Aviv as a starting point. I don't know about entertainment (everyone has their own needs). I was in Israel on a "daily" excursion from Hurghada in 2008 and wanted to return again, but with my 11-year-old son. For the autumn holidays of 2010, we finally made our dream come true. We rested "savage", that is, she bought plane tickets herself and booked a hotel on Booking. I was looking for an inexpensive hotel and a room with a kitchen, because my goal was to relax by the sea and excursions. Our Desengof Sea Residense met all my wishes. Therefore, I think that you should also choose a hotel on the Internet that suits your wishes. In Tel Aviv, the sea and the beach are just for children, sand and shallow and constantly there are waves (even small ones), which is fun and not scary that some kind of bada will come out of the sea (my son in the Red Sea was bitten (burned) by a snail on beach. An endless promenade with cafes and free exercise equipment every 500 m is great.I also took excursions myself to the Metroclub in Tel Aviv (cheaper than they offer in Kyiv). In general, my son really liked Israel, although he had already seen a lot in his 11 years and have something to compare. So we're going again next October.
