The hotel is located on the 1st line, ie. he has his own beach, sun loungers and umbrellas - free of charge. The beach is big, there is enough space for everyone. Hotel after renovation - everything is fine, everything is fresh. The rooms are large and spacious, all rooms have sea views, each room has a balcony.

The hotel is quite crowded. Families with children have a rest, as there is a miniclub for children, children are engaged, entertainment programs are held. The hotel has enough Russian-speaking staff. Excellent SPA. The food at the hotel is wonderful - varied, tasty, high quality.
Evening events - concerts are held. In the hotel you can have a good rest (relax-rest) and get the necessary treatment, why go to the Dead Sea.

A wonderful hotel that has everything you want. The infrastructure of the hotel allows you to relax and not think about anything, and the staff will make sure that the rest is as comfortable as possible. Fresh food, clean beach, cozy room - what more could you want? Any whim is already included in the tour price.

This is a real shed with a construction site on the beach and food from the times of the USSR in a sanatorium. What can be 5 * stars, if it does not even correspond to three. Dirt, mold, old shabby furniture, no proper maintenance. This is a complete piss!! ! Only the sea is good, the rest is complete nonsense.

The hotel is located on the very shore of the Dead Sea. But not in the resort area. Nearby there is another hotel, at some distance on a hill - another one. That's all the environment. There are more hotels in the resort area, but not all have a beach right next to the hotel. The food is very good, the rooms are large, with a balcony and a sea view.

And the furniture is not new, the corridors should be updated. But there was a week to live - no more was required.

"In the dry residue" - low combination of price / quality of accommodation in a hotel: room furnishings, condition of premises and common facilities, minor household inconveniences. - weak support service for a highly isolated hotel: free transport to the "centre" for the stubborn, poor animation. - negative external factors: aircraft noise; operating excavators in the surrounding area.

- weak support service for a highly isolated hotel: free transport to the "centre" for the stubborn, poor animation.
- negative external factors: aircraft noise; operating excavators in the surrounding area.
- undeveloped tourist infrastructure: there is simply nothing within walking distance; only minimal variety within a five minute drive.
+ good quality food.
+ friendly and helpful staff (especially Russian-speaking).
+ large beach, first line; good sea view.
+ pseudo-difficulties only unite : )
This is followed by a set of moderately emotional impressions in the form of theses. Bonus for consuming products of a creative attack - tips for vacationers.
For people allergic to sarcasm, I recommend that you immediately follow the last paragraph.
"Pros and cons"
The depreciation of fixed assets does not correspond well to the ambitions embodied in the logo of the Leonardo Plaza Hotel - an Italian man of ideal proportions with the obvious authorship of the creator of the Renaissance. Doors and furniture shamelessly reveal evidence of forced entry and battles over the contents of the minibar. The carpet looks like a big top arena after an anniversary world tour. Plumbing completely fell into decadence, in places pouring out streams of tears at unexpected angles.
Of particular entomological interest are solitary insects, extremely surprised by the new neighborhood in the condominium.
The pleasant hum of ventilation, pumps and kitchen equipment makes the atmosphere in the room more comfortable for a city dweller who is afraid of drowning in the ringing silence of the desert.
Separately, I would like to thank the Israeli Air Force for the regular flights of combat jet vehicles along the coast at an extremely low altitude. This saves you from the risk of over-relaxing on vacation. And at the same time it helps the functioning of the digestive organs, working to remove by-products from the body. Synergy on the move.
Basketball rings and a volleyball net should not mislead the guests of the boarding house - this is nothing more than a prop for photography, which does not imply the availability of equipment either for free or for rent.
The climax of insanity is a rotten, tattered awning on a metal structure located in the center of the permitted bathing area. Swimming does not interfere, but delivers monstrous aesthetic discomfort. Together with elderly guests drifting nearby in crooked poses, the object turns into an art installation, reminiscent of the frailty of life.
A sudden spoonful of honey in a proverbial barrel of tar. The inner courtyard of the hotel pleases with a wide green lawn with palm trees. Half-wild cats frolic among them, staring at especially weak and lonely pensioners with a bad gleam in their eyes.
The announced free shuttle buses on the "hotel-center" route operate on a flexible schedule, which allows the driver to interpret the "every hour" principle, depending on the mood and driving style. Identification marks, informative plates and awareness of the route guide are poorly visible or absent. All of the above gives a great chance to go on the "official" transport to marvelous ebony.
Of course, there are a number of higher-level hotels on the coast in the heart of the resort area (Isrotel, Marriot, etc. ). But most of them are located across the road from the main center of attraction - the sea itself.
Regular buses rush along the road, not to mention tourist and passenger transport.
The weakness of the resort infrastructure does not imply the presence of a pharmacy, a good selection of restaurants and cafes. Most of the space in the "center" is allocated for the sale of incredibly healing salt, mud and cosmetics based on their combination in different proportions.
"Last Paragraph"
If the call of the Judean mountains and the thirst for minerals in the steep brine outshine any inconvenience, a couple of tips:
1. check in on Saturday, when the hotel has more empty rooms and you can try to change the room if you were not lucky the first time. Particularly unlucky with the extreme numbers in the left wing from the entrance - the industrial noise from the outside is pretty annoying.
2. do not waste time and go to the "center" and back on paid mini-buses "for fife shekels per person".
3.
take all the necessary medicines with you: the nearest kosher Jewish pharmacy (by prescription) and a semi-legal Arabic one (expensive and underweight tablets) in the mountain town of Arad, which is 30 km away.
4. You can save on a hotel and stay in Arad in a private hotel, but you will have to spend half an hour there and the same amount back along the serpentine. That's another attraction.
5. network catering establishments in the "center", with a guarantee of an average level of nutrition, moderate spending and unpretentious service: Café Café ; McDonalds.
6. if you take not a regular, but an additional excursion to Jerusalem, all the advantages of a mini-group will open (you need to check with the representative of the operator).
7. Drink pomegranate juice in reserve in the center of Jerusalem. In the "center" on the coast, it is twice as expensive.

My husband and I went to Israel from 8.04-19.04. 2010. The Dead Sea was part of our tour. Very good hotel. Lovely large room with a sofa and a huge terrace with sunbeds where you can sunbathe (on the floor number 1)! ! And if the rooms are higher, then there are small balconies. Lovely large room with a sofa and a huge terrace with sunbeds where you can sunbathe (on the floor number 1)! ! And if the rooms are higher, then there are small balconies. They also had three floors of basements. So our first one was like 3-4 somewhere. There was an LCD hanging on the wall! As soon as we settled in, we immediately brought chocolates and a bottle of water as a gift. At the reception, several girls spoke Russian. Cleaned very clean and tidy, although we did not leave a tip. The food in the restaurant deserves a separate 10 page letter. Everything is so tasty and varied every day. there were only one cakes. 12-15. ! hot every day different! We had the HB meal but it was missing the eye. There were water coolers on the floors, where you could get a bottle of water for the beach or for an excursion, so as not to buy in stores. + two coolers on the beach. This hotel has its own beach. there is a hotel right on the shore, and not like other hotels on the mountain, but they take cars to the beach. This is the best hotel on the Dead Sea coast. There is a taxi that takes you to the shops (center) and back for free every hour. Very comfortably. Just be sure to look at the machines there are different. This one has a heart drawn on it (Fattal chain) All the staff are friendly. They also brought us a gift In the spa - hydrogen sulfide baths - for free ! ! This hotel deserves not 4 *, not even 5 *, but all 10 * !!! ! The Dead Sea is really a fairy tale! I would like to go there again and again. There are a lot of pensioners, but this did not bother us! People, go quietly to this hotel! You will not regret it !!! ! SUPER, SUPER, SUPER! !

My room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the sea, the beauty is indescribable. The rooms are very clean, the room was cleaned daily, towels were changed daily. When I entered the hotel, I already had a basket of fruits, a bottle of French wine and a box of chocolates from the director of the hotel. Meals in the hotel 2 or 3 times a day, at the request of the guests. Always on the table mineral water, cleanliness and order. The food is very varied, tasty. I really liked it. Service at the highest level!! ! The morning started at 6 o'clock. I went down to the sea, swam and sunbathed until 8 o'clock, then went to the restaurant for breakfast, after breakfast I went to the room to relax and watch TV. Closer to 11 o'clock I went to the SPA salon for massage and various cosmetic procedures - 2 hours of bliss with the gifts of the Dead Sea!!! ! float be at sea, because. during the day the sea is very hot and the water is very hot. As usual, I didn’t have dinner in the evening, but went down to the bar to chat with hotel guests and watch the show. In short, a holiday at the Dead Sea, and especially at the Moria Plaza Hotel, is most likely a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday. I really liked it.

Weird that there are no reviews for this hotel yet. He "deserves" reviews! Well, I'll write first. I am not new to the Dead Sea, this is my third hotel. It all started with the fact that the Travellux company brought us to the hotel at about 12 noon, this is their usual practice. In other hotels, you had to wait no more than 1 hour, often less or not at all.

Here we waited until 16.30, that is 4.5 hours!! ! To all questions we were told that "the room is not yet ready. " When they finally settled us, it turned out that everything was cooked for two, although we ordered for 3 adults. True, after the scandal at the reception, they brought us to the room "as a gift" 3 bathrobes without a deposit, which is always required. The room is very average, there was a dirty mirror in the bathroom, the bed linen is old, they didn't even change it every day! At the same time, the hotel is 5 stars! The food is also very average, however, as in most hotels: at first it seems that there is an abundance of everything, after 2-3 days you realize that you have already tried everything. Fruits: Sliced grapefruit and watermelon in the morning. In the evening only watermelons and sometimes melons. And it's high season! There are more fruits on Shabbat, but this is once a week. . Even on Shabbat, wine is put, in other hotels they simply put it on every table. And here it was necessary to come up and ask, but not everyone knew about it, so many did not come up. A very big plus for the hotel is its proximity to the sea and its own beach. The saltwater pool is located in an unair-conditioned room, so it is not possible to be there during the day. The usual pool is heavily chlorinated, just rectangular, there are a lot of sunbeds, but there is not enough shade for everyone. There is practically no animation, in the evening you die of boredom, because their "bingo" in Hebrew seduced only elderly Israelis. And since the hotel is on the outskirts, there are no more hotels in the area, there is absolutely nowhere to go. Summary: if you go to be treated and want nothing more, you can stay in a hotel. But there are also better hotels. For example, "Gardens", which, with its 4 stars, is far superior to "Sheraton". The "Gardens" has only one drawback: it does not have its own beach. But everything else is top notch!
