Dear friends, I want to leave a review about the hotel. It’s not the first time I’m resting, everything, starting from the entrance to the hotel, you find yourself in a fairy tale, the guys at the reception are very responsive, there are Russian speakers, but they also communicate excellently in English, check-in at 15:00, but we are settled immediately as we arrive without problems, the rooms are large and comfortable, the food is excellent, the pools are washed, the territory is constantly cleaned. … More ▾ Dear friends, I want to leave a review about the hotel. Of course, you need to walk a little to the beach within a 5-minute walk, I walk normally with sore legs, there are sun loungers, umbrellas on the beach, everything is washed and kept clean, it's nice. I recommend this hotel for those people who love peace and comfort and good food.

We were moved to another room, and there is the same thing. Don't even think about going there!

Le Meridien Dead Sea Hotel, Paradise! Lovely hotel, great rooms, large loggia, huge LCD TV. In January of this year, I was vacationing at the Le Meridien hotel. If you like big hotels, Le Meridien is for you. This is the highest hotel on the Dead Sea - 17 floors. An impressive lobby, a spacious restaurant, spacious rooms with sea views, rather big balconies, a large area for the resort of Ein Bokek.
A huge area, respectively, a lot of vacationers. I lived in Le Meridien for the 2nd time. But this time, during my stay, a large group of pensioners from Haifa and several corporate groups stopped by. And on the Dead Sea, you want silence and relaxation ...In the morning, a queue lined up at the entrance to the restaurant to enter. At breakfast there was a real buzz from the voices of a large number of vacationers ...
In a restaurant in which the waiters did not have time to replenish cutlery, remove dirty dishes from the tables and broken dishes from the floor.
I lived on the 16th floor in a suite consisting of a living room and a bedroom. The room is no frills, everything is simple and concise. It would be desirable, of course, that obsolete switches and doors be replaced, the carpet was cleaned and shabby furniture was replaced. The room shows traces of cosmetic unfinished repairs.
The weather in January was cool, with a dust storm. Several umbrellas were scattered by the wind in different directions. The sea is cold for swimming, although some have taken courage and entered the water...
Since there is nothing to do in the sea and on the beach, everyone spends time in the SPA center. And “everyone” is the tourists of LeMeridien and the neighboring Leonardo Inn 3 * hotel, because they have one SPA center for two. There were almost no places near the pool to lie down on a sunbed. There was a queue in the shower to bathe or wash off the salt water. In the SPA center you can change in a small dressing room, where there is also a shower and toilet. The sauna didn't work.
In addition to free pools, jacuzzis and saunas, there are paid hydrogen sulfide pools and treatment rooms.
The Dead Sea is a resort where people from all over the world come for healing and treatment. This time I saw especially many people with joint diseases.

The hotel has its own beach 5 minutes walk from the door of the hotel. The beach, as well as the SPA center, is used by tourists of two hotels - Le Meridien itself and the neighboring Leonardo Inn 3 *. There is a golf car service to the beach. Lots of people use this ride. Travel time - 3 minutes to the road. Then everyone goes out and walks to the sea for 1 minute. On the beach there are free sunbeds, umbrellas, showers. The beach looks typical for a resort - there is no bar, even a paid one. But on the other hand, there are no food vendors or excursions either.
In general, I like this hotel. This is not a 5 * deluxe, but a massive five, but the food is delicious, the rooms are large and there are regular special offers for stays of 7 nights or more.

We ended up in this hotel by accident. We arrived at the 3 * "Leonardo Inn", but it turned out that we were not on the lists for booking and there were no free places either. Settled for the entire stay in the "Meridian" 5 * without extra charge in a room overlooking the Dead Sea. It was a gift of fate, especially since we were resting during the next aggravation of the conflict with Palestine. … More ▾ We ended up in this hotel by accident. It was a gift of fate, especially since we were resting during the next aggravation of the conflict with Palestine. The hotel is huge! The food is excellent, the cleaning is ok. SPA is awesome. Everything is great. The only negative of this hotel is poor sound insulation, you can hear everything that happens in the corridor. Local children have never heard phrases like "be quiet" from their parents. It seems that they do not sleep at night and only run and scream. But nothing can erase the general impression of this fabulous place. The Dead Sea is a magical place that you must see and swim in it at least once.

Large balcony. Those who say that far from the sea - do not believe it. 5 minutes at a slow pace, and it’s not even necessary to walk - a cute tarantayka with an awning constantly drives from the door of the hotel, the children rode it with pleasure - especially on the way back, which is a little bit uphill. The hotel has a wonderful SPA (although children are not allowed there - but I just enjoyed it))), and there is just a wonderful masseuse Clara - I have a lot of experience, but I have never met such golden hands!

We were in Israel on a sightseeing tour in July 2009. We spent the night in this hotel for two nights. Spacious room with balcony and sea view. Good breakfasts and dinners. Didn't use the spa or pool. Rested on the sea. To the beach 7 - 10 minutes walk down the hill. For the lazy, there is a shuttle to the beach every 20 minutes. … More ▾ We were in Israel on a sightseeing tour in July 2009. We spent the night in this hotel for two nights. For the lazy, there is a shuttle to the beach every 20 minutes. The beach has umbrellas, sunbeds, showers. There were few people on the beach, everyone was in the pool and spa. In the evening the sea temperature reached +42C. The hotel during the day and evening animation. A little strained a large number of tourists in the lobby and restaurants. The overall rating of the hotel is 5. Have a nice stay everyone!
