Settlement in the hotel began with a curiosity. There were no Russian speakers at the reception. We were asked to show a credit card. We gave it to the hotel employee for three seconds, and after another three seconds, an SMS came - that 200 dollars had been withdrawn from the card.
The hotel staff did not respond to our perplexed questions. But still they sent someone in search of a Russian-speaking hotel worker. Some elderly man came - he, apparently, was a very small fry in the hotel, and therefore explained to us in a whisper that they had withdrawn the money as a deposit - what if we damage the hotel (!? ), And then the money will be returned - only it is not known when that "later" will come.
The money was returned (all $ 200 - it turned out that we did not destroy the hotel and did not burn the room! ) When we returned to our homeland.

The second unpleasant misunderstanding was when I looked out of the window of the room (actually, the travel agency promised that from the window of the room there would be a view of the Old City) and saw trees through which Mount Zion was barely visible. But right in front of the window of my room, a huge white and gray rag hung on a tree, which spoiled this view as well. Upon closer inspection, I determined that the rag was a hotel bath towel. I went to the reception and through the same "translator" asked to remove the rag. But no one responded to the request and the rag-towel hung all five days of our stay at the hotel.
I got the impression that Russian-tourists are UNWANTED guests in DAN BOUTIQUE, and therefore I do not recommend the hotel.
