Bali prices
Hi all. I'm going to Bali at the end of November. Who knows how much dinners in restaurants really cost there, how much bottled water, wine cost, how much excursions cost on average and where it is better to order them in Moscow or on the spot? What currency is better to take with you, dollars or euros and where is it better to exchange them for rupees?

at the end of November the weather is not very good - it will rain every day!
food is cheap. you can go to my album from Bali - there is a photo of the dish - it costs 4 euros ( http://my.turpravda.ua/sandra-art/gallery/16847/116784.html). water costs a penny. but the wine is expensive. from local alcohol there is only beer and rum. wine is the cheapest Australian and costs about 30 euros a bottle, but tasty.
it is better to take and change dollars.
excursions to take on the spot and bargain.

How much is seafood there? Lobsters and king prawns?
аватар sandra-art
everywhere differently. I don’t remember exactly now, but if I really need it, I can write to a friend - she’s there now.
I bought fresh shrimp in the supermarket and cooked it myself (I like boiled salted shrimp) for about 46 thousand rupees per kilo, which is 4-5 euros. the restaurant is a little more expensive.
for example rice with seafood 2 euros. and pasta with seafood 3-4 (serving as for two)

Have you rented a villa? If yes, is it better?
аватар sandra-art
we filmed. much more profitable.
Hotel prices are on their websites. + you can buy a flight directly from Aeroflot (I do not advise)
or with a change in the UAE (not so stressful and cheaper)
transfer to the hotel from the airport will cost a penny in a taxi.
Last year my friends were charged 7 bucks for 2 weeks, although in reality: about 2 flights and even less than a hotel stay for 2 weeks. the rest more than 4 thousand probably counted for the transfer. excursions were not included in the package.

Does it rain there at the end of November all the time? Or still at times?

And on which site you can get acquainted with the rental of villas in Bali?
аватар sandra-art
on Russian sites with an extra charge will be.
choose your hotel or villa. go to their website and see prices. for 40 bucks a day you can live in a pretty good hotel

rains there every day, but short.
sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, sometimes in the evening.
the rains are heavy, but end quickly and everything dries up in a matter of minutes

I wonder if there are places in Bali where there are no such strong low tides?
аватар sandra-art
in what sense? you are going to go during the rainy season) and nothing can be done about them)

How did you pay for the hotel?
аватар sandra-art
we paid for it in Jakarta. but you can also use a card via the Internet.
need to clarify - maybe there is an option upon arrival

If you need to leave the hotel at night, is there any problem with calling a taxi to the hotel?
аватар sandra-art
no. and many hotels provide an airport shuttle. just need to warn

And how will things be at passport control in Bali if I go savage? They will probably ask which hotel or something else? Or are they little interested in why I came to the island? And do you still need photos when obtaining a visa?
аватар sandra-art
I am Ukrainian - they opened a visa for me to Indonesia in Ukraine.
Russian open at the airport. for a long time. in Jakarta it still didn’t go anywhere, but in Bali for a long time. you need to fill out a questionnaire, where you indicate the place of residence and the time of the trip. You can enter whatever you want.
I don't know about pics, take them just in case

Is it possible to write in more detail about the cost of a taxi to Tanjung Benoa from Denpasar and how much is beer, rum now. Are taxi drivers haggling?
аватар sandra-art
taxi drivers work on meters - how much they dashed off, they paid so much. the price today from the price yesterday can differ significantly - even by the same distance
beer costs 1-2 euros. I don’t remember the local rum, I had duty free whiskey and I was happy
I don’t know what Tanzhung is - I’m not strong in their names. we only went by taxi to the disco. to other places by car - rented with a driver. I don't know the price

I was in Sri Lanka not long ago and our insect repellents did not help at all. How about mosquitoes in Bali? Do our funds help? Or is it better to buy them locally?
аватар sandra-art
I did not smear my body with such muck. I later on the fact of bites (and mosquitoes, more precisely mosquitoes there dofiga) smeared with a Rescuer (or Healer). went on for several hours
mosquitoes are the main negative in Bali. they brought me to tears. as soon as some kind of park, grove or restaurant with a green area - wrap around the body immediately

About mosquitoes. Maybe it depends on the season, but the mosquitoes did not bother us at all (we were in July, that is, by Balinese standards, it was winter and a dry season, although it sometimes rained). As for low tides, I can say that we rested in the town of Chandi Dasa, it’s 2 hours from the airport, so it was worth swimming in our hotel only at low tide, because. to get to the sea, it was necessary to go down from the hotel territory along the stairs from the concrete dam, not very high. When the tide was low, the beach itself was exposed, i.e. a sandy strip, and at high tide, the waves hit this very dam and you went down the stairs straight into the water and, if there were strong waves, you, of course, could hit this dam, but with a calm sea, nothing is normal. But Russians rarely come to Chandi Dasa - they love Nusa Dua, Jimbarang, etc. closer to Denpasar. There, of course, the tides are strong, but, most importantly, they should not be in the morning.

I'm wondering which airline is the best to fly with? Any wishes?
аватар sandra-art
Etihad!!!!!!!!!! When I was looking for - was the cheapest. service at a high level. and split the flight equally.
I advise you not to fly through Europe yet - much longer

How many meters away from the shore does the ocean go at low tide? Is it really possible to swim at low tide?
аватар sandra-art
to be honest I don't know. I swam in the morning, afternoon and evening, and either I'm a fool, or I don't understand something. but I don't know what the tide is.

What area did you stay in and what hotel?
аватар sandra-art
I have traveled to three regions. more precisely, on beaches with three types of sand - black (this is an akasha villa). white (this is the Konrad hotel) and yellow - we went to the bay
I don't know about these areas at all. Nusa Dua is. and so I don't understand. Bali is Bali for me
if I lived there for a year or studied the issue in detail, I would probably understand)))
