And I wanted to add! Interested in entering Europe for tourism purposes. For myself and my 8 year old. Destination Slovakia. Very necessary. stay for a month and a half. There is where to stay. I have passports and my father's permission to go abroad. Maybe someone knows how or with whom you can contact with this question. I will be very grateful!

Citizens of Ukraine who wish to cross the territory of Hungary in TRANSIT do not need to obtain an individual transit permit if a citizen of Ukraine returns to Ukraine, as well as if:
- the person has a document confirming the right to enter the country of destination (depending on the requirements of the country: residence permit, work visa, hotel reservation, property title deed, real estate test results, etc.), as well as , if necessary, documents confirming the possibility of your entry to other transit countries (Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Slovakia).

Entry into Slovakia
Entry permit:
- citizens of Ukraine who have a residence permit in the territory of the Slovak Republic;
- relatives (wife / husband, minor child, father / mother of a minor child) of those citizens of Ukraine who have a permanent or temporary residence permit in the territory of the Slovak Republic;
- Pre-registration:
- Persons arriving in Slovakia are obliged to adhere to home self-isolation for up to 14 days. PCR testing is possible not earlier than the 8th day from the moment of self-isolation. If the RT-PCR test is negative, self-isolation may be terminated.

All EU countries (except Croatia) are currently closed for tourist travel. Transit through Hungary is possible only for residents of the EU and the countries of the EU and their families. Transit is also allowed for those who have the right to legal stay (work, study, guardianship, etc.) in one of the EU and SC countries and their family members. As for the queue at the border - once at a time it’s not necessary. I can advise you to get a work visa to Poland and visit through Poland. Or contact hotels in Croatia and inquire about booking and related entry.

Thanks a lot for your answers! A working visa to Poland is not suitable, as I will be traveling with an 8-year-old child. They will not make such a document for him. I realized that special documents are not needed for transit through Hungary. It is important to have a hotel reservation where I am going to go and to know for sure whether the border between Slovakia and Hungary is open.

If you have no reason to visit Slovakia or any EU country, the Hungarians will not miss.

The purpose of transit through Hungary, a holiday in an open EU country. Then miss?

You wrote earlier that you are planning to go to Slovakia. And it is closed to tourists. You were given a quote from an official document above. Only Croatia is open at the moment.
аватар Bozhyk.nastya
At the moment, Montenegro, Croatia, Albania (among EU countries) are open, or am I mistaken?
аватар agent_borabora
From the European Union are now open to Ukrainians: Ireland, Cyprus.
Croatia is closed, but lets in for the purpose of tourism.
Other open countries Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey and the UK are not EU countries.

Agent, Bulgaria was brought in a little bit. It is a member of the EU, but not of the Schengen area. I do not understand what the author of the question wants.
Slovakia is closed to tourism and has not yet declared its intention to open to Ukrainians. Therefore, it is impossible to go there for tourist purposes.
I know that people come through Croatia to the EU (Germany), but it is unlikely to suit the author.

holub_juliya_gmail_com, I did not bring Bulgaria anywhere. Especially in the Schengen area.

Agent, I quote you "Bulgaria is not a country of the European Union".
This is not entirely true, but I do not want to argue, this is a tourist forum, not an educational one.
аватар agent_borabora
holub_juliya_gmail_com Of course Bulgaria is a member of the European Union. I made a mistake.
Thanks for the correction.

Bozhyk.nastya - One more information for you. If you go through Hungary to Croatia, then at the border with Croatia your documents and the right to enter will be checked. There are border controls. And there is no systematic control on the border between Hungary and Slovakia. There can only be random, selective checks. But it's better not to risk it.

Thanks for your reply. very valuable information. If you learn something else about Slovakia, please write. Today, April 19, I heard positively that quarantine conditions are expected to be relaxed at the Ukraine-Slovakia border. But I haven't been able to figure out which ones. Maybe someone looked more closely, please send a link. I will be very glad!
